My stay at Sun behavioral has been life changing. They took the time to ask me questions about treatment, housing, after care plan and much much more that will help me after my stay. I really appreciate the care and attention that they have given me. I would highly recommend this program to anyone with mental health or substance abuse, even both…!!! This was my first time EVER in any treatment center. I am 62 years young. The care from the staff, therapists, doctor and other medical staff was so amazing and such a learning experience. It was not all Sunshine and roses by any means! But, it was just what I needed. The understanding, the stories shared by others, and the just plain love and support, helped me to gain my confidence, and self love. It works if you want it to. Detox can be scary for anyone but at Sun Behavioral, staff makes you feel right at home giving the most incredible care and attention to patients. They not only meet all of your needs at all times but they are fun and up lifting. Sun behavioral gave me my life back in more ways than 1! ❤️

Sun Behavioral Health is an amazing place to receive proper treatment for yourself or loved one. Staff is able to deescalate calmly, provide support, and actually care about the patients. I was on 2 West and enjoyed the group therapy and individual therapy. Most of the staff were supportive and wanted to see us get well and continue that way. I know I will use the tools I learned here to make better choices and be healthy. Thank you for making my experience a positive one, it gives me hope for my life moving forward.

I have had an amazing experience with this facility, all staff members were professional and caring. The food and providing of service is on point with the needs of all patients. The environment was also very calming and felt secure

This was my second time here. I enjoyed the availability of groups and outside time. Staff is kind and always patient with us. Food was mediocre but snacks were always provided in the unit. Staff remain positive which keeps us positive. I appreciate the help and care here, and i will always recommend this place to anyone in need. I would prefer to come here for any further treatment. The staff is amazing. It's not easy to take genuinely negative person like myself and turn my attitude around. That's worthy of 5 stars. Oh, and the food was pretty good. I put 15 pounds on in 7 days

Decent staff (Georgetown DE 2 West dual diagnosis), for what they endure and still show up everyday. Expect to feel powerless, because you are. Completely. Powerless. Expect to have your rights met, and understand that your rights are not necessarily your wants. I referred to it as prison while in there, because it's so boring. The food was very good. There are snacks. It is freezing cold. All the time. There are two wall phones for general use. The faculty is clean, showers are nice. I was there 21 days. The medical staff is great. They will take care of you. The therapy groups on the other hand were a joke. All of them. The counselors had no control of the groups at all and didn't put much thought into the group plans. I gave Four stars because it's not meant to be a resort... I would definitely recommend this to anyone living in Kent or Sussex County for drug and alcohol rehab. The mental health aspect is lacking as the boredom destroys me. This is private funded covered by Medicaid.

Very sad to say because it is a shame. I was there to get help. when I checked in I had two expensive plugs and cords one for my phone and one for my smart watch both Samsung Galaxy. They literally stole it and said I never brought it there. And I know who it was the same woman that work there that accused me of faking when I was truly sick. Also lied that she saw me eating when I did not even eat my food. Everyone else was pretty okay except her. She did my inventory too so I know she took my stuff. My husband has taken pictures of it in my bag before they took me in.

My experience at Sun was very well, the facility was very clean and the staff went above and beyond. Although I didn’t get one on one with each individual staff member a few of the ones that stuck out and provided the most support and help are Veronica the discharge planner helped with my aftercare and was very attentive to it. Angie, Manteen and Jeff the MHTs were the most helpful in providing care and assistance whenever I needed it, they go above and beyond to ensure I was made comfortable. Jessica the patient coordinator was very ambitious and wants to help ensure that the facility is always improving.

Crystal G is one amazing woman. Without her support and help I wouldn’t have came as far as I have. C is also a wonderful woman with amazing advice and keeps good spirits for us. Alyssha is another wonderful woman that’s helped me in so many ways. Without these 3 woman my time here wouldn’t have been possible. I thank y’all for everything. Y’all are my true hero’s!!!
