😠 Beware of going to this place. I find it very poorly kept up. The older graves are sunken in and they don't condition the dirt to ensure the stones remain visible. My grandmother stone is so deep in the dirt we often have trouble finding it. The grass is cut rarely around it. It looks horrible most... People often mention cemetery,

Beware of going to this place. I find it very poorly kept up. The older graves are sunken in and they don't condition the dirt to ensure the stones remain visible. My grandmother stone is so deep in the dirt we often have trouble finding it. The grass is cut rarely around it. It looks horrible most times. They seem to me to be very money grubby. The company has money to build yet another mausoleum building, but not keep up with the grounds. When you call the parent company to complain, you get voicemail only. It is the most horrendous cemetery as far as policies.

My son is buried there, first they broke my monument and they order a new one, then they took out a candle holder that I had, and the stand for the flowers. But alot of people have theirs. Very disappointed, no respect for the dead and their love ones.

It's out in NJ, but this Totowa neighborhood area is quite peaceful. There's a wall of tall greenery at parts of the perimeter so there's a bit more privacy. Many spots have already been reserved ahead of time when I went in Aug 2016. Supposedly there's a river nearby too. There are road paths inside so you can drive closer to your loved one if they are far from the main entrance. The main entrance is across the Memorial School so Google map that address instead of the cementary's. May my grandma rest in peace here.

Horrible management. They dont tell you you can't place benches next to your spot, despite the fact that there are plenty of them all over, but they will take it from some unlucky clients and probably resell it. Also, It should be open from sunrise until sunset, at least week-days! What's up with those ridiculous working hours? Wish I did some research before I bought so many plots there.

The section my father and brother's are has become a junk yard. Old chairs everywhere some tombstones have big fencing around, and when they have there picnic paper plates and napkins everywhere. The people that take care of the grounds have broken every single Angel I put up. Very sad

They buried some random person on top of my family member then denied it. When i came back the next day her grave had been dug up, and destroyed

Beautiful cemetary. My grand parents & parents are buried here. I always feel at peace when I come to visit. The staff was very helpful during the entire process as well.

Kiersten was wonderful! I was all alone in the burial of my Mom She took time at the gravesite with me so I could play a song my Mom loved You can tell she cares about the clients

Nice maintained cemetery with some unique areas and headstones with gates open from 8am to 5pm everyday. Wildlife is slowly taking over and I am not just talking about the typical squirrels, bird and groundhogs. It started with deer which I have no issues with. Next came foxes which actually have a den in the adjacent Mr. Nebo cemetery. They can be frightening at first but ultimately pose no threat. Next came the coyotes, yes you read that right. To me this is not an animal you want to see when trying to pay your respects especially realizing you are between a mom and it’s pup. When we were there we one of the coyotes chasing a deer. Yes I know they don’t eat people but I don’t want to flinch every time I hear a noise or keep looking over my shoulder when trying to pay my respects. The grounds keepers need to do more to make it unfavorable for them to stay.

Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa, New Jersey is a beautiful and quiet cemetery. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are always close. There are no bathrooms offered to the visitors of the cemetery to many of us after a long drive to see our deceased love ones. The tombstones are kept very close to one another and the ground levels are uneven.

Maria was excellent from the first phone call. I was trying to set up arrangements from out of town and she was exceptionally accommodating. We were able to schedule an appointment for my mother to visit the very next day. The gravesite was in a great location and a very comfortable. It was a very cold day and we were able to have a chairs and blankets for the family. Could not have been any more pleased with the service.

I just want to thank Jolene who was so kind and helpful on the phone with me earlier! It doesn’t matter how many times I come here, I will always get lost. Jolene was patient on the phone and gave me exact directions on how to find the grave of my father, and also offered to come out and find me and help me get there if I still needed assistance. Thank you so much. πŸ’—
