What an absolute awesome place! I walked in at 615pm and Pina went right to work pulling dresses for me, instinctively she knew my taste!! At 650pm I had a GORGEOUS DRESS, SHOES, BAG, EARRINGS AND A BRACELET! This place is a one stop shop for ALL YOUR NEEDS! Thank you so much for everything! I have been going to Effie's for 20 years and have always left with something gorgeous to wear! Most recently I purchased my bridal shower dress and could not be happier. Pina totally understood the look I was going for and immediately brought me the latest and best matches. The service was horrible, I came in with my best friend for prom dress shopping and I told them I wanted to pick out some dresses. since we were 18 they were SOOO rude. I’m a size 8 and they told me i was a size 12 which is fine, but then they gave me size 18 clothes. and said they only carried mainly sizes 2-4 in the store. Absolutely no body positivity. Also, I scheduled and appointment but i had to keep going up to the person working there because she just went away to assist other customers. Even though i booked an appointment. They also didn’t even say bye, they completely just ignored my entire existence. I’m not sure if it was because i was a person of a different ethnic or religious background. I personally don’t want to assume but I felt extremely singled out.
