Nice dinner, friendly service, wonderful food.

We enjoyed our first visit to Funistrada. Our server recommended the veal dishes, so I ordered Veal Saltimbocca and my wife had the Lemon Artichoke Veal. Both meals were very tasty. The restaurant is cozy and tables are close together, so if you're covid cautious you may not be comfortable.

This was by far the very best meal I’ve ever had in the Traverse City area. We had excellent service and food. My salmon picatta was perfectly cooked and my husband loved his veal saltimbocca. We were seated next to a very large party but we were adequately served by our very professional and friendly waitress. My only complaint would be the condition of both of the bathrooms. They need to update and fix the hole in the floor!

Great food, terrible service. We won't return because from the moment we walked in we were completely ignored. Drink glasses always empty, every person that arrived after us were served and finished before we even had appetizers, etc. We even made our reservation over a month in advance.

Cozy little place. Atmosphere can trend to be very noisy due to the small size and the exuberance of vacationers. The food was disappointing. I had the veal in lemon sauce with artichoke hearts. Very tasty, but the veal was tough and full of gristle. Not the way veal should be. The cheesecake for dessert was ruined by the Hershey's chocolate syrup topping. Come on. Anything is better than that sweet goop. Kathy was excellent in service and everyone worked together to make it a pleasant experience, although disappointing.

Excellent service, Cesar salad is a must. Everyone enjoyed their meal, loved the tortellini and tiramisu.

Thanks to Trattoria Funistrada for squeezing us in when a storm knocked the power out on our dinner plans for our anniversary week dinner (yes, that's a thing) while staying on Glen Lake. Literally the best chicken saltimbocca ever. The hostess and wait staff were very accommodating and the chef stopped by to check on us. Homemade desserts are a must try. I'd recommend reservations because we got there right when they opened....

A wonderful evening ! Great service, great food & wine, and such a cozy, warm ambience! It has an old world charm! We had a table for 4 & we were able to visit & hear each other! We tried their new Pasta Night & there were so many selections it was hard to choose as they all sounded delectable! We will definitely be back! So happy we found this gem!

The only dinner that is an absolute must when I'm in town. Delicious, consistent food paired with gracious and friendly service. Prosciutto wrapped asparagus followed by veal saltimbocca make you happy long time 😊 Make your reservation early!!

1st time there and it was even better than I expected! The service was top notch which makes the amazing food even better because it actually comes out of the kitchen when it should so it was nice and hot! Perfect dinner out! Thanks so much for the outstanding service and meal!

I have dined here for many years and not only is the food absolutely amazing but ALL the staff are friendly, courteous and are always welcoming. The new owners have kept the same warm atmosphere that I look forward to. Love the menu!! This is an up north treasure!
