This place is a MUST GO TO in Pennsylvania. My wife and I went here and we were impressed on how much care and information they have and give to all patrons on the wolves. Beautiful creatures they are and they truly give them lots of space and natural habitation. Very well organized and they answer all your questions during a self guided tour. We went on a Full Moon Night and while we were at their Giant Bonfire one wolf started to howl at the moon and then another wolf started howling in response, next thing you hear is the whole wolf pack started to howl at the moon and everyone stopped and stood still…brought chills down my spine. If you have never heard a wolf pack howl LIVE with your own ears, you Must Go and check these guys out. Great gift shop with souvenirs and photos to buy to support this wonderful organization. You wont regret it. My wife and I are planning to return soon.

What a special place, truly. I assumed going in that the tour would be cute (and it was) but the stories shared about some of their wolves were just heart wrenching, yet heartwarming. All of these animals are nurtured with love and with the proper environment/conditions that a wolf would ever need. Please support this non-profit if ever visiting Pennsylvania, or make a donation whenever you can. Will continue to support.

Great tour and awesome place! The wolves were so active so we got to see a lot! The tour guide was great. Porta potties are clean and there’s a little gift shop! Bring duck boots or hiking boots to wear!

I give it 5 stars because the mission is honorable. They only take in rescue wolves now and do not breed their wolves. The tour guide I had was very knowledgeable. I went on a Saturday morning for a tour which started at 10am. Unfortunately some of the wolves were in distress due to the large tour groups passing by throughout the morning. It was definitely neat and an interesting experience to see wolves so up close with such a variety of different coats. Next time I know to come in the fall rather than the summer because all the shrubbery made it hard to see every wolf. Thought I should add, they have water offered throughout the tour. Also, the gift shop situation could use a little work. Only about 10 people can fit comfortably inside at a time. The items offered to be purchased didn’t seem well thought out. Basics like tshirts, mugs, and stuffed animals. I feel like their missing out on some profit there.

In June we visited the Wolf Sanctuary of PA for a guided tour. When we got there, we were greeted by the wolves howling and I will say hearing it in person vs through a screen is an experience! We didn't get to see all the wolves (you can in a private tour) but as we walked through the sanctuary, the tour guide was able to give us information about the wolves - their names, where they came from, etc. Some were super friendly and the others were cautious. Shout out to Loki for being a people pleaser lol Many of these animals were removed from homes who bred wolf pups as household pets which understanding the care they need, is not a life for them! Highly recommend going. Also the staff and volunteers were super nice and helpful! Worth the 1.5 hour drive :)

From booking to seeing the wolves to shopping in the gift shop and leaving, we had an easy process and a wonderful time. The tour guides are very well informed and gave a lot of information about the wolves. The volunteers who helped check us in were awesome as well as they directed us with direct information on which way to drive, and where to park. They even have handicap parking for those who need it. The gift shop has a lot of merchandise. Prices ranging from 5 dollars on up for products. We will definitely visit again. And we were able to see our adopted wolf privately. Staff is very accommodating. Everyone should visit the wolf sanctuary and support it with donations.

This place is a truly amazing experience! There were a decent amount of wolves out and active. The coolest part was the howling, it was so loud and non-stop!!! Our guide, Russ was a wealth of knowledge and everything he said was interesting. He was incredible and passionate being there for 8 years as a volunteer. The gift shop is awesome. It lives up to the expectation, what a cool experience. This tour is educational and fun and the wolves are beautiful.

I was debating if i should come here last minute, as i saw there was an opening for a tour the day before. I decided to go and am super glad that i did. This place is truly amazing, a gem that i was completely unaware of despite visiting Lancaster county frequently growing up. The tour took my breath away at the sight of these beautiful and misunderstood animals and was even lucky enough to hear them howl. This was a truly touching experience for me and definitely worth the near 4 hour drive from Southern Delaware to visit. The people here truly do care about the wolves and is entirely volunteer run. If you are even remotely interested in wolves, visit here, you will not forget what would likely add up to be a truly unforgettable moment.

Mandy was a phenomenal guide. She knew the wolves so well she could describe their personalities and history as we approached. She was very patient and answered our questions. I visited with young teens who were captivated for hours and may not have noticed that we were OUTSIDE ;) We captured excellent photos with our wolf hosts who seemed happy to greet us thanks to their obvious trust and fondness of Mandy. Will return with friends to stay at the B&B! I hope Mandy is volunteering when we visit next.

Had an absolutely amazing time at the full moon fundraiser. Got to see a ton of wolves, and even got to hear them howling thanks to an emergency call in the area lol. The bonfire was very laid back and chill, loved the music the guy was playing, plenty of space, even one of the wolves chilled out with us to listen. Gift shop was an absolute mad house, maybe some signs to tell people to go to the side door would help with the in and outs? Not really sure how to really resolve that with the limited space. Fiancé and I just had an amazing time and would love to come back!

The Wolf Sanctuary has been on my bucket list for a long time. I am so glad I went and I can't wait to go back again. Thank you, Denny, for such a wonderful tour! The private tour was amazing. I saw so many of the wolves and loved them all! These beautiful animals have such a good home at the sanctuary. If you love and respect animals, you need to visit the wolves and support the cause. Thank you to all of the staff and volunteers for the work that you do to provide such a wonderful home for the wolves.

My husband and I went on a public tour of the Wolf Sanctuary. I’m leaving five stars because the mission is incredible and our tour guide (Melissa) was VERY knowledgeable and gave us a wonderful tour. However, they kept emphasizing how much better private tours are. My husband and I had wanted a private tour however the only available times were at 7:00 am so we had to opt for a public tour. I even called first to see if another time could be accommodated and the woman I spoke to told me no and was very rude. If they want to emphasize private tours they need to offer them at better times. That said once there we had a wonderful experience.

We did a public tour and there was so much information given on the wolves and their histories as well as information on wolves in general. Doing an adoption tour afterwards was also fantastic as you may get additional information or see other wolves not currently on the public tour (if your wolf isn't currently on it). Staff and volunteers were super friendly and we can't wait to go back!

What a FANTASTIC experience. The Wolf Sanctuary is a top notch sanctuary for wolves that have been in captivity and not fared well in their previous environment. The enclosures are large and the wolves are so well cared for through a ton of volunteers and donations or admission to the sanctuary. The animals are well cared for, receive regular vet check ups and get to live out their lives here. We were fortunate enough to stay at the B & B on the property and thus were able to partake not only in the public tour in the morning and the Full moon tour in the evening but were able to walk around the perimeter at our own pace and enjoy these magnificent creatures.

We visited on a snowy, sunny day in January and had such a wonderful time! Our guide Starr was amazing. She was so knowledgeable and patiently answered questions from kids and adults alike. We got to see a lot of the wolves who were happily lazing about in the snow or showing off their latest treats, and learned about their individual histories, as well as the challenges faced by wolves in America and also by wolf-dog hybrids. I highly recommend the tour, and 100% of your ticket price goes to the organization. They do important rescue work and I'm happy to support it. A few details to note: Tours take place in all weather, so dress appropriately; you will be outside the entire time, unless you visit the gift shop after the tour. There is some paved parking, but most of it is in a field, at the top of a rather steep hill. In the snow this can be a little tricky if you don't have a vehicle that can handle it. There are no restrooms, only porta-potties on site. You will be on your feet for the whole tour and it's not handicap-accessible. But well worth it if you can make it!

Beautiful sanctuary in Lititz, PA. Wonderful, dedicated volunteers and staff who work very hard to care for these beautiful animals and educate the general public. My son and I enjoyed the visit. Only trouble with the visit is that the tour is not ADA accessible. I am mobility impaired and was not prepared for the walking distance from the parking area to the enclosures, or the fact that you need to make a steady walk up an incline of approximately 600 ft. There were many benches available along the walking route, but the sanctuary offers no golf carts or ATVs, so disabled guests should be aware that they're on their own.

Such a wonderful experience! We have adopted a wolf for the last 2 years and were thankful to finally get to meet her, and her friends. The tour is informative and really allows you to connect with the wolves. The staff are beyond passionate about their work and ensuring that these wolves receive wonderful care. Thank you for the great visit!

We did a guided tour in December and it was really amazing to see these animals up close. We got to see many wolves roam in their habitats and even got to witness them all howling. The wolves are well taken care of and our tour guide was very knowledgable. We took our 11 and 16 year old daughters. They loved it as well. I would definitely go back.

We loved our Saturday escape to the Wolf Sanctuary. Nick was our volunteer Tour Guide and we enjoyed learning about wolves, their relationships, and the Wolf Sanctuary. Being outside and watching the wolves lounging or interacting while hearing their stories was a nice way to spend the afternoon. Elaine and the other volunteers are all welcoming and nice- it feels like a family. The Gift Shop had lots of items to buy and help support the organization. We are looking forward to coming back.

We had the most incredible experience at the wolf preserve. Our guide, Michele, was engaging and informative and the highlight of the tour was hearing them howl...We learned about their distinctive personalities and how they arrived at the sanctuary.. Watching and hearing them truly touches ones soul.. You will not be disappointed..and we will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved visiting this wolf sanctuary with my family. We booked the private tour and I apologize greatly as I am not good with names. Our guide was more than accommodating with answering questions making sure that our tour needs were successfully fulfilled. My 2 children always wondered why I loved the wolf so much basically all my life now they know. This, as I promised them is an experience that they would never forget and indeed they share their experiences with classmates and even want to learn more by purchasing books. I encourage the their knowledge on why this particular habit has come about and others across the United States and around the world and the the importance and impact it has on the population of the breed. Maybe one day they can also help be conservationists and help save and restore and educate people as they have just begun their journey. Thanks for the unforgettable experience and truly remarkable job your whole staff is and has and are doing to help this amazing animal.
