Let me tell you all something wonderful. I was here for a wedding so I'm not completely sure on prices but what I am sure of is quality. The quality of the food, atmosphere, staff and the entire building was some of the most top notch amenities I have ever seen/experienced. The drinks from the bar during cocktail hour were amazing and very well made with friendly faces and smiles. From the assortment of Baked Clams to Calamari all the way down to the Coconut Shrimp were unlike anything I've ever tasted. Once we sat down and got to the Main Course, I had ordered the Wagyu Butter Steak (Medium) and it came with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. My mouth hit the final stop to FlavorTown and was beyond impressed with an experience you'll only understand when you visit. I recommend this to anyone anywhere in search of TOP QUALITY Food. Special thanks to staff members Ben & Joy for going above and beyond.

celebrated family member birthday dinner. the waiter who served was excellent, informative, but not to his fault he was obviously working other tables and the establishment is understaffed. we were a party of nine persons, and were served dinner main course two hours after we were seated. the food was good, but waiting so long was unfortunate. The restaurant is very big and obviously very popular but being way understaffed with waiters and chefs they have lost their personal touch and are no longer im my perspective a 5 star restaurant.

High end trendy steak and sushi restaurant with extensive wine list. Very, very expensive. I found our waiter very smug and condescending. Totally obnoxious. Because of him, my friend never wants to go back. I don’t judge because of one person. The rest of the staff was very professional. Go if you have an expense account or win a bet. The Opus salad was excellent. Enjoyed the different sides. Even thought the food was very expensive, it was first rate.

I wanted to go to out for a nice dinner & luckily came across Opus. The steakhouse has a beautiful interior with a great slightly dimmed ambiance, which is something I look for when booking dinner. Our waiter, Jordan S. was the vibe of the night. He was quiet funny, charming and very well versed on the menu. He went through all the specials like it was the alphabet! He was attentive & gave great recommendations on drinks & food options. All recommendations were taken & exceeded our expectations. For entree, I had the wagyu skirt steak & my friend had the strip steak. We had a sushi roll as an appetizer & mash potatoes on the side of the steaks. Everything was deliciousssss!!!! We finished off with the fluffy donuts filled with cream. Although, everything about this place was spectacular, Jordan S. will be the reason we dine here again. He simply made our evening that much more enjoyable & memorable!

Gorgeous restaurant and outdoor environment. Went for a meeting and was super busy, so our entree came very late, 5 minutes before event ended, so service was slow, but very friendly. Salad and steak was excellent, meat cooked just perfectly the way I asked. Mashed potatoes with the steak was full of salt and didn't taste like potatoes, I recommend they work on that. A good steakhouse needs a good mash! Dessert was unremarkable but looked good.

Went for the Wednesday 3 course dinner and then we met Bill!!! Bill gave us recommendations and I think we tried them all. We weren't disappointed. Bill, Iris, Francis and Luis were very attentive without crowding our space. Frank Mendez and Amanda Mi have a spectacular team. Unfortunately we were so excited about our food we didn't take pictures of the main course.

Amazing place amazing service especially with Victoria and Shavone and Edmond. Food is a kiss of heaven. And when my son was crying to eat, Victoria quickly got him some delicious pasta which he enjoyed. 20 stars if I could. Always ask us if we need anything. Very polite, fast, and communicative.

Either you are looking to impress your date/business partner, or just want to detach from the crowd, Opus Steakhouse is the perfect high end, luxurious peaceful corner. The architecture presents different halls, and the interior decorater has done a magnificent job in combining refinement with comfort, and art. All together, the ambient is an unforgettable one. The employees starting with the receptionist and ending with the cooks are very professional, friendly, and quick in delivering service. The food is delicious, beautifully presented on plates, and the portions are generous. It was an incredible experience, and that's why I would like to give credit where credit is due.

The waiters were terrible, the waitresses aren't bad but the table girls in the front were incredibly rude and snobby. The food is disgusting, poorly cooked, overpriced and terrible quality. The fish was practically raw (this wasn't even the sushi) and winded up giving my mother food poisoning and she has been having diarrhea and upset stomach since. Don't support this place!

It’s a stylish place, quite spectacular that generates a cozy feeling. We started at the bar with some cocktails and appetizers then sat for the dinner. The food is okay, was expecting more but it felt underwhelming somehow. The bolognese pasta we got was on the salty side, the salmon wasn’t that tasty and the steak felt pretty basic and over burned (we ordered it medium rare). The service was fast and the staff was knowledgeable. To conclude, while the restaurant is modish for going on a date or celebrating an occasion, the food was basic at best, without anything special going on.

Very disappointed. I left a pair of high end prescription sunglasses on a Tuesday night when there were NO other patrons dining but nothing was turned in. The food was mediocre at best. I am very disappointed at my entire experience and will not be back.

One of the best birthday meals. It was worth every penny! We had tomahawk steak, waygu steak and pork chop. All were prepared perfectly. Food was top quality. To top it off, our waitress, Emma, was awesome also. Down to earth, professional yet fun and pleasant. Highly recommend this place.

My wife and I really like Opus. Some of the menu selections are overpriced, however, there are an equal number of items that are underpriced, such as the chicken liver pâté, and the Sunday night prix fix. The service is excellent and the ambiance is stylish and clean. One thing to note however, I am surprised to see some customers dress like vagabonds. I almost wish Opus had a dress code.

I waited to come a second time and try something different. This place is very good, may now be my go to steak house on Long Island! Everything from the wine selection, to the appetizers, steaks, deserts, and service is very good! You have to get the table side prepared caprice salad! The octopus appetizer is very generous and the steaks are very very good!

The place looks nice. The food and service is just ok. For paying $100+/pp the food and service should be better. The Havana central drink had too much ice and the waiter took it back to take out the ice. The pork chop is good but salty. The rack of lamb is very good. Mashed potatoes with truffles is good. They forget to bring a drink that we ordered. They also forget to bring soy sauce with the sushi and cream and sugar with the coffee. As you can see the cheesecake is a joke and just taste like sugar. The apple crostada is just some apples on a crossaint. No chocolate cake options. I don't know about the other desserts but based on what we had you are better off going to a bakery for desert. The rib eye was just ok. It was a little charred so keep that in mind depending on if you like that. I don't like it because it kills the taste of the steak. Also the steak is plain with no seasoning. The waiter didn't offer any sauce or add ons with the steak. They didn't offer fresh grind pepper. The white sauce with the calamari didn't go good with it and was tastless. Better to have it with thai chilly sauce or marinara. The bread is cold. Most steak houses I've been to bring warm or fresh out the oven. They should also have salt and pepper grinders. I signed up for the rewards program but the waiter didn't mention it to give me credit. Also i put on the reservation celebrating a birthday and i gave a birthday coupon but there was no acknowledgement of the birthday.

Hands down…. the best! The tomahawk steak was to die for, the broccoli rabbe to die for, the sushi was perfect, the dessert for my man birthday were great. The presentation was so memorable, my man enjoyed his birthday for sure. It’s pricey but if you want treat yourself, this is it. It’s such a beautiful steak house nice and upscale. One of my favorite spots!!

A++ Opus has mastered all aspects of a great dinning experience. From the moment of arrival we were catered to non-stop, with a friendly and attentive staff. There have been far and few restaurants of late that actually impress, and this is one of them! We are already planing our next dinner at Opus and will be recommending this to all of our family and friends. Your really can’t go wrong with this spot!

We decided to go to Opus as an early Christmas celebration with my mom and we had the best time. Our server Billy was amazing and handled our group with ease. We opted to order a couple of the specials as well as some regular menu items to share for the table. If you have the chance to get the Australian Tomahawk steak, do it! We had one small miscommunication with the staff, but they were quick to resolve it and the GM and Manager stopped by to say hello and check in, which was so kind of them. Overall, I will be back here for my next celebration. Every staff member from the valet to the GM was attentive and kind. The food and kind staff is worth every penny.

The Rigatoni short ribs is devine. I also highly recommend the octopus leg and opus salad. The staff is incredibly attentive. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was great except for the music choice. It was all over the place. At one point the law and order song came on and my husband and I started laughing. The manger is very personable. I left my credit card there and he chased after me to return it which I greatly appreciate. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant. A great dinner to celebrate a birthday. Thank you! We had a wonderful time.

Excellent food and experience. Our bartender Joy was fantastic. My steak was a bit undercooked (I asked for medium rare) and she immediately brought the hot stone where I cooked it a bit more to perfection. It was a great fix. Definitely will go again. :)

Went here for my friends 40th and didn't have a wonderful experience. Waited an hour to get seated even though we were all there - it's Saturday so I get it. Ordered the Tomahawk steak to be told they were sold out. Then our hot plate to cool the Kobe appetizer wasn't working so that was another disappointment. Overall, our waiter was great but everything else didn't meet my expectation.

Great experience we went to celebrate our son's gender reveal. We were a party of 9 we all had the Sunday Dinner special. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect for both families to enjoy what felt like an intimate dinner together. Our server was amazingly attentive. Hoping to be back again celebrating another family event.

Great food (minus grilled octopus - had only taste of grill no octopus), very nice atmosphere and beautiful outdoor sitting area, service was just ok , our server charged couple in our party for good they didn't order, ad to get manager involved in order to sort it out.

Had my wedding here and it was amazing!! Definitely call Nicole the amazing and super helpful events manager!! The food, service, and ambiance was all incredible!! Not only is this a historical landmark, but a beautiful recently renovated setting that makes you feel as if you’ve been transported to the roaring 20’s with a modern elegant flare. You walk in to view the long and luxurious bar that can either lead you to your private outdoor seating and garden area or venture to the dance floor and dining room with ravishing in wall fireplaces and show stopping chandeliers that will be sure to have your guests raving about you for months. With multiple options for seating, dancing, and privacy or to even provide a small intimate space - OPUS Steakhouse has something for everyone. Sign up for OPUS and don't look back. The dedication, devotion, and attention to detail that they provide, are guaranteed to elevate any event. Nicole made the process very easy and worked with us to answer any questions we had. The best part about this venue is that, based on availability, you have the ability to reserve the WHOLE RESTAURANT - all to yourself! This is something very rare and a huge benefit compared to other catering halls and country clubs that don’t offer this exclusive benefit. Finally the food was outstanding.

Dined at the bar as we always do. The bar staff is excellent! The wines list is impressive as is the selection of wines by the glass. Sushi is on point and very good! I had a NY strip that was okay but not sure worth $75.00. Ambiance in NYC vibe like without the travel and the crime!! Cheers!

I love the vibes of this restaurant! The staff is really helpful and knowledgable. It's a great place to celebrate a special occasion or birthday. They have recently added some greek inspired appetizers, which we really enjoyed. It's a very nice experience here!

I ate the 42 oz tomahawk steak which I thought was very fatty which holds the flavor and the presentation was good. Very pricey for 2 people but was a good time.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Opus Steak House in Jericho, NY, and while the wait to be seated was a bit lengthy, I can confidently say that everything else about the experience made it well worth it. From the extensive selection of drinks to the delectable appetizers, mouthwatering mains, and delightful desserts, Opus truly impressed me with its culinary prowess. As we waited patiently, we perused the drink menu and were delighted to find an impressive array of bourbons and gins. The expertly crafted old fashions and refreshing gin and tonics set the tone for an evening of indulgence. To start our meal, we savored the keftedes, which were bite-sized meatballs bursting with flavor. The bluefin tuna tartar was a delightful combination of freshness and subtle seasoning, while the Buffalo mozzarella offered a creamy and delicate taste. The roasted beets added a vibrant touch to the appetizer selection, and the crispy rice provided a satisfying crunch that complemented the other flavors perfectly. Moving on to the mains, the shrimp saganaki stole the show with its succulent and perfectly cooked shrimp immersed in a rich and tangy tomato sauce. The porterhouse for two was an absolute delight, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The addition of the bernaise sauce elevated the dish to new heights, creating a heavenly symphony of flavors. The side of Mac and cheese was creamy and satisfying, while the grilled Brussels sprouts provided a delightful balance of earthiness and charred goodness. As we reached the end of our memorable dining experience, we were treated to delightful cappuccinos that were rich and velvety, perfectly capping off the meal. The fruits and berries platter that followed was a refreshing and light conclusion, showcasing the kitchen's attention to detail and commitment to fresh ingredients. Apart from the outstanding culinary offerings, the service at Opus Steak House was attentive and friendly, with the staff displaying a genuine passion for ensuring a memorable dining experience for their guests. The ambiance was elegant yet inviting, providing the perfect setting for a memorable evening. In conclusion, Opus Steak House in Jericho, NY, exceeded my expectations with its exceptional food, extensive drink selection, and attentive service. Despite the initial wait, the experience was nothing short of delightful. Whether you're a steak enthusiast or seeking a diverse culinary journey, Opus is a must-visit destination that will leave your taste buds dancing with joy.

What steakhouse takes over an hour to seat you for your reservation and runs out of skirt steak, petite filet and rib eye? Oh yea, brussel sprouts too! Let's not forget the refusal of dessert because it was so late! Opus does! The poor waiter (who was wonderful by the way) was begging management over and over again to come over to our table and explain what was going on to no avail. Horrific experience, only good thing was getting up at closing time, calling out the manager Matt who was too busy laughing and joking to care and having a $414 bill brought down to $187. Never again!

We went on a Tuesday night for my husbands bday, was seated right away because we had made 5pm reservations. We had asked for a corner table since we were 5 adults and four kids, which they did give us. We specifically go early because we know how kids can be (they were actually well behaved last night to our surprise). Bathroom was dirty. Now let’s talk about the server and the food; he had no manners, rushed us to order and to finish up at the end; every time we asked him for something he would give a rude reply! I know it’s hard to see a smile with mask on but this guy didn’t even chuckle once! I think he hates his job. Of course I wanted to take pictures with my hubby and kids and the family but we felt so rushed we couldn’t do that! Normally we always go to Rothman’s but we decided to give it a try. What a fail! Expected much better service and at least a smile or say hi to the kids! I mean we had two year old twin girls on the table! How can anyone not say something to that!! Food- Burrata and Calamari - good; we requested for kids food to come out early with appetizers or as soon as ready- after an annoying comment from the server like, “oh I just put in the appetizer order already” - So? It’s a kitchen and no one else is there yet so put the kids food order in!! (Mac n cheese and Branzino - one order of each only!! to be shared for kids - I mean how hard is that!)Or just say “Sure let me see what I can do” !! Tomahawk was good as expected. Ribeye - cold, cooked how I wanted but was cold that I had to send it back. So were all the sides, creamed spinach- cold. In laws like it well done, but it was almost burnt! They didn’t even eat that and shared ours. In the end we told the cleaning person to let the waiter know this was burnt, but no sign of any acknowledgement. They just packed it up with the rest of the food. We didn’t eat it fresh what makes you think I want to reheat this and eat it at home?! I rarely write reviews but I was so dissatisfied that I had to! And I was planning to do my husbands 40th bday party there since they have a private room! No way! I wish I had the same waiter I did the first time me and hubby and gone which is why we came back with the rest of the family! Unfortunately, we likely will not be coming back and will let our friends know as well! You have to meet a certain standard level when working at a upscale restaurant!!

The place is vibrant and beautifully done , Our meal for an 8 pm seating did not come out after complaining till 10 pm Food came out cold ,,, even the sides Do not order the grilled octopus as being Greek you go to Astoria and get the best fir much less The steaks were cold and not at all prepared the way we requested , Mine was sent back twice ,,, It’s overrated , overpriced and I don’t recommend this within the Scotto chain Tony Scotto better step up his Chef and floor supervisors to assure the quality I don’t think we will be back ,,,

Came here for a special dinner with my Fiancée this past Friday, and it truly was one of the best meals of our lives. Seriously. First I must say Brendan our waiter was top notch. Yes he's tall, yes he will tell you his height if you ask, he gets that question all day. We started our dinner with east coast oysters, spicy tuna crispy rice, spectacular roll and the Opus Surf and Turf roll. Just right there we were off to a 12/10 start. The oysters are plump and flavorful, the crispy rice is the best I've ever had, and the sushi was just incredible. Brendan said we had to get the Opus Surf and Turf roll so we did and man are we happy we did. Wagyu beef, lobster, avocado, asparagus, kani, honey dijon sauce OFF THE CHARTS. Then came our main meal, we decided on the Tomahawk steak for two medium, with mashed potatos and charred asparagus. Just perfect, not much more to say except...it comes to the table and is cut with a SWORD!!!!! For dessert we got the chocolate passion cake which was delectable! Go here! Enjoy yourself. Treat Yourself! It's a unforgettable experience. Thank you again to John and our waiter Brendan for making it a memorable evening. We will for sure be coming back.

Company holiday party here was Outstanding ! This venue is beautiful- just walking in the door the ceiling and the floor - stops you in yr tracks! (Smells so yummy too) The food was so much better than you might expect at an event - sushi, steak carving stations, salmon. Passed appetizers were top shelf and generous. Another bonus was the very well stocked top shelf bar with two bartenders who were so personable !! Nothing negative to say but it was work after all. I picked up a gift card to go back and have fun !!
