Great service. Delicious food. Stopped in for lunch this weekend. Straight away I was impressed with the great service. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make it a pleasant experience. I had the B.L.A.T, quite nice. My friend had scrambled eggs on toast with bacon, which looked quite good. There’s an inside section and a courtyard out the back. We sat out the back. It was a little cold but not too bad. It’s on quite a busy street, there is on street parking, but not much.

Massimo is an amazing host and just a great bloke. Stopped in for a feed on the run which I opted for the lamb salad which was tasty , fresh and just the right size. Also ordered a oat magik and was 👌 loads of spaces , friendly staff, tasty food and coffee with a lovely venue to match, see you soon guys.

The service was amazing, very warm, friendly and kept us up to date. For me I think it was just a poor choice of dish. Had the pulled beef toastie. It was very dry. Not enough fats, not fully tender, no sauce or if there was not enough and I couldn't taste it. Bread could have done with butter. It was slow going eating it. Doesn't come with chips. The corn fritters on the other hand were pretty good. I got to try a slice. Didn't get any coffee.

Just discovered this nice local cafe on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Very nice taco with the crispy chicken. The mango salads is delicious and the dressings is bright and fresh with the lime. The iced filter coffee is nice too. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. I am happy to return and try the other dishes :)

Lovely cafe along the main shopping strip in Ashburton. Went it on a weekday for lunch and it was quite busy. Good selection on the food menu, kids-friendly options and bakery items on the counter. They also have a nice courtyard seating area in the back. Enjoyed my mushroom dish. I had a masala chai but found it a tad sweet.

Joe Frank - The creme de la creme on the corner! Upon passing through the other day I popped in to this cafe and was very impressed! Genuine hospitality, quality offerings and lovely coffee, I will definitely be returning. I was so impressed I even took a few snaps! - Hamish John Appleby

Excellent Salad! Friendly Service… great looking place too… and one of my favorites… a bench in the window… perfect if you’re eating solo If I’m in the area I’ll definitely go back

The environment is spacious and comfortable, the key is that all handsome guys receive the reception, and the service is very good! Great product! Especially the quinoa salad, the material is very rich! Coffee is great!

What a lovely find!!! Located at the start of the Anniversary walking trail, it is a great cafe to start or end a walk with. Outdoor and indoor seating. Lovely menu. Enjoyed my cold brew cafe. Definitely be back!

Hands down one of the best cafes in town. Staff are always super attentive and welcoming . Food is always spot on and the homemade cakes, especially cheesecake are out of this world! Please don't change a thing!

Amazing us all this families shops have been. We had "Mum's fig loaf". We had been told this had been baked the day before and it tasted great. The atmospher, the ambience- all great. The only thing i will say though, it was a little noisy- but what do you expect for a popular cafe, where the food and coffee are amazing. Will definately revisit this place again!

Joe Frank is a lovely café with terrific atmosphere. The staff are friendly; especially significant given how busy they always are. Great tea, good food and terrific offering.

No big brekky on the menu, but able to cobble one together for me from sides (no sausages, but bacon was great!) Very quick and very friendly service, vibrant atmosphere with great background music, lots of regular patrons, and good coffee!

One of my all time favourites in Ashburton. The coffees are consistently good. The chai latte simply hits the spot! If you’re not a spice fan, you may find this a little too spicy. My latest absolute favourite- matcha latte! I have mine without honey. The balance of matcha powder and milk is spot on. I love food menu here too particularly the salad with a side. The staff here is always bright and cheery. Good atmosphere and a courtyard out the back. Ordered a cake yesterday - Italian sponge (with no alcohol). Simply amazing. Full of dark chocolate bits and chopped almonds. The sponge cake was layered with custard and dark chocolate custard. A layer of sponge was soaked in coffee. Drool worthy.
