I seriously had a bad experience, BOOKED a blow out , but unfortunately they don’t offer that service so instead got my hair straightened?? Why put me on the books then ? Was told $45 over the phone but told $65 in person Was told “they are not enforcing parking meters” but got a parking ticket. !!!! Nina hair dresser super nice but the owner bad business!!! Worst experience. Now I gotta pay a parking ticket !!!

I got a curly hair cut with bangs, I have crazy shrinkage that my hairdresser commented on a few times. She cut my bangs while they were frizzy and dry so not only are my bangs way to embarrassingly short to wear out, but they're also uneven. I had even called beforehand and shared my anxiety about having someone inexperienced cut my very curly hair, but they assured me they all knew what they were doing. I also wanted my hair shaped, but I won't even get into how odd it looks all one length. I wish there was more communication and consulting with me before taking scissors to my hair. The workers were all very nice and the place was clean. However I wouldn't say all of them are suited for natural hair girls.

I called to make a hair appointment so made plans around it accordingly. When I arrived I was told that my 12 year old daughter could not be present to receive service, if I was going to be the only one getting service. I believe communicating that guests (including children) are not allowed in advance (such as while on the call while making my appointment) would’ve been been appropriate as it’s not commoN practice. I wasn’t allowed service because of this. Other than lack of critical communication,, the salon looks nice.

Very clean facility. If you like cleanliness and good service this is the place to be. Shawanda is the best beautician. She is always up to do with the latest and most creative hairstyles

Mel is very talented, hardworking, and always does a great job on my hair. She’s very knowledgeable regarding hair care and cares about her clients. The salon is clean, and staff are professional and friendly. I always feel attended to whenever I come here. I highly recommend this salon!

I recently moved to West Orange NJ from Vermont and have been on the hunt to find a salon that specializes in natural hair. I was so lucky to have found Ultimate Visions. When I called the salon the owner was so nice enough to squeeze me in. I got a wash, steam, deep conditioner, with a braid down for my wig. I was so pleased with the service and professionalism that I received that day. I now come in every 2 weeks for the same service and my hair has grown sooooo much. Thank god there are still salons that wash and conditions your hair because now a days other salons expect for you to come with your hair washed.

I called for an emergency appointment to get my daughters locs retwisted. They put me on the wait list in case someone canceled, Well someone did! They called me and we rushed over. I was extremely extremely impressed with the service and the cleanliness of the salon. We will be regular clients from now on.

I had a great experience at Ultimate Visions and loved my hair!!😊 I had to do a specific look for last minute event, and everyone was super accommodating. I made my appointment by phone the night before, and my stylist Shannon even took me an hour earlier than my scheduled appointment the next day. She was great, took her time detangling my natural hair, and my hair looked so good when it was finished! I will definitely bring my mom and sister here to get their hair done too. Ultimate visions is a Bloomfeild NJ treasure that has been serving the community for 25 years. This salon has been located in three locations within the same neighborhood and has increased its location size, gained more amenities, and become more modern. This salon has always had a nice down to earth feel full of kind and knowledgeable staff. The owner is present often and is not afraid or too good to be involved in all aspects of business which for me speaks volumes. This salon was definitely a great experience. You're greeted by a professional receptionist and seated until your stylist come to you. The vibe was positive & laughing energy. Ken was my stylist...he was awesome from the wash to the blow out to the updo ponytail style. I received compliments from when I left the shop and still.
