Greeting, I am a customer that shops at this location? I've been a customer for 8 or 9 years if not more. Trader Joe's was one of my favorite stores. I used to love coming to this location when Nicole was the manager Nicole was great! Nicole was awesome! Nicole was kind and friendly. So much has changed since Ali has been the manager at this location. the energies are off, the customer service are not welcoming. the people are not nice/kind. whenever I walk in the store I could feel the negative energies. I experienced racism with Ali the manager and with erin at the customer service desk. I had to stop talking to Erin because of her ignorant behavior. I requested to speak to someone else. previous before that I had applied for a position at trader Joe's about 7 or 8 times not thinking that Ali had something personally against me. But I did give my paper application to 3 different managers on 3 different occasions. I follow up with Ali and Sochi. He gave me a bunch of excuses, he also lied numerous times. Afterwards I took my concerns to the trader Joe's headquarters. I talked to Carrie and I requested to talk to the director, which took me to call a total of 7 times before I talked to the director Sochi. so I talked to the director trying to share my concerns. sochi hangs up on me, not letting me get a word in. I've applied for other trader Joe's locations, and I have not got hired. There's no legitimate reason that I should not get higher with all my experience. I have 25 plus years experience in customer service 25 plus years experienced in retail grocery and cashier. I have 20 years experience in Lead/Management/Supervisor. There's no reason why I shouldn't be given an opportunity. I know that it has something to do with me reporting how poorly I was treated when I came to trader Joe's, and I also feel like it has something to do with me Calling trader Joe's headquarters. I have talked to an employee that works at this location. That employee has worked for trader Joe's for 12 years overall. The employee tell me that THIS LOCATION IS THE ONLY LOCATION THAT HE HAVE WORKED FOR, THAT GOES AGAINST DIVERSITY. HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT RECENTLY, BLACK EMPLOYEES WERE TRANSFERRED TO OTHER LOCATIONS. I find it disturbing, and beyond disrespectful that I was treated differently because I'm AFRICAN/BLACK. AFRICANS/BLACK PEOPLE SHOULDN'T SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. TRADER JOE'S DON'T WANT HIRE ME, BUT YOU WILL accept my MONEY! Make that make sense. This is beyond wrong on so many levels. My civil rights has been violated. Shame on you all Ali/Erin/Sochi. God don't like UGLY. I'm a child of God. I'm highly favored and covered. WHAT'S FOR ME IS FOR ME! Amen. Trader Joe's headquarters can't take that away from me. The vibe in Trader’s Joe is like old school marketplace. A ton of stuff on shelves on top of tons of stuff in refrigerators..a lot. The variety is amazing, lots of new foods to try and the good thing is that most of the containers are on the smaller size. So , you get to try new food without a huge commitment to big quantities. Staff are super friendly and genuine. Lots of gluten free options sprinkled throughout the store.

I enjoy the shopping "atmosphere" here. Wide aisles, nicely displayed specials, a lot of unique items to buy. Super friendly clerks!!!! Great place to shop.

The Glen Ellyn Trader Joe’s is run by a welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable crew; and it’s a joy to have this store in the heart of Glen Ellyn.

Followed me around was the only black person in the store no greeting but the cashier older white man was kind and jokingly cool

The employees that work at Trader Joe's make the atmosphere the best place for grocery shopping. They have a huge assortment of interesting and delicious food. They also have an excellent wine collection. A must place for folks who like organic foods.

Been going for a few years, always very happy with the experience. They make grocery shopping more tolerable.

I've never been here before. The parking here is about as much fun as a sandpaper slip sand slide but the store is cozy and full of great products. They have obscure items I never seen anywhere else and it's funny there is an Aldi around the corner. I would recommend it to people looking for a tiny grocery store with fresh items and delicious snacks. The flowers are nice as well.

Great selection of food items. The staff is very friendly and it doesn't take long to check out, even during busy times of the day. I removed a star because I much prefer the fresh produce elsewhere so I rarely buy it here. I also stay away from the bagged salads because twice there were whole bugs in them despite the labels saying they were washed.

Trader Joe's has such a wide variety of small or large portions of different foods. I like the frozen Indian foods. They are the best I have found that you can heat up in your home or at work for lunch. I buy the trader Joe's Kiefer, mango, and strawberry, they are pretty good. It's made with low-fat milk. The price is pretty good. Love the variety of crackers. The flowers are a bargain. It's worth a visit you always can try something different than what you would find in a mainstream grocery store.

Clean and well stocked, staff was quick to open another register even though I was the only one waiting.. everyone was very friendly and helpful!

Two hour drive! That's how much I appreciate this store. I'm NEITHER vegan nor vegetarian, but I enjoy eating clean. Trader Joe's offers so many meatless options! Listen, when I tell you that I make FANTASTIC soy chorizo enchiladas and NO one knows the difference! The quality and quantity of products are endless! Everyone needs to visit this store! Build in Bloomington-Normal, IL! ❤️

So I came to go last minute shopping in the snow storm. Andrew made our experience, pleasant, exciting, and comfortable! He is good for the brand. Would definitely recommend traders!!

Trader Joe's is a great grocery store. They have (always) friendly staff, and an excellent selection and variety of standard and unusual (but always delicious) food and beverages to choose from. Highly recommended!

Was my go to grocery store when I lived in Glen Ellyn. Very clean and nicely organized. Love all the seasonal items - adds variety into our lives. Staff is very friendly and helpful, always seems like they are having a good time.

Kat, the cashier who checked us out, had the best personality, and did an awesome job of packing up our huge amount of groceries.

I love this store! It’s my favorite place to shop. I love the intimate shopping experience. You don’t feel like you’re stuck in a giant supermarket. It has everything you could possibly need to buy for home plus extras like cheap flowers and plants. The customer service is impeccable. They really make you feel like they care about what you’re making with your groceries.

Excellent store for quick grocery shopping for all your needs. Many ethic foods are special here. Try Trade Joe’s brand Spicy Chakri Mix snack for a spicy pick-me-up to cheer up with friends, or to liven up other bland dishes - of to just watch TV reruns on a lazy afternoon!

Love the products, the service from everyone involved and the convenience of the store. Management and every employee is courteous and helpful. The prices have risen as of late, so I do not shop here every week as I did in the past, but still enjoy the experience when I shop here. Great job, Trader Joes.

Honestly such cool selections and very well priced. I’ve shied away from going at times d/t my perception that it would be super expensive but I was wrong! Great prices are found on every shelf!

This store doesn't disappoint me. Trader Joe's has a great vibe, has a variety of foods, prices are very reasonable. The employees are helpful and always have a smile. They are exceptional, knowledgeable & very nice. Great customer service. Whenever you need anything they run and get it for you even if it's on the other side of the store. Always a pleasure to shop at any Trader Joe's Nice location and store is fantastic. Items are well selected and it's a pleasure to discover new items from other parts of the world. I’ve always had a good experience at this Trader Joe's.
