This is hands down the most eclectic, well appointed hotel in Denver. You will NOT find a cooler place to lodge in this city. From the elevated beds , smart spacial design and kitchenette to the projection screen / blinds that also act as a 2-way art piece for all to see on the other side - this place was the highlight of my recent Denver trip. Great breakfast , awesome room and amenities. - check out the cookbooks ;) Will definitely be back.

I loved staying here! I've never stayed at such a unique hotel. I really enjoyed the room layout and functionality of it. I thought the amenities were great and well worth the $30 daily fee. The Rent-a-plant was by far my favorite thing an I wish more places did something like this. It was nice to have some plant pals in the room during my stay. All staff on site were super accommodating and friendly. I wish I could have stayed longer but this just means i'll 100% be back. Added bonus was the short walk to the train for easy access to the airport.

I rarely write reviews but has such a great experience at the Catbird hotel that I felt compelled to write one. We booked this hotel because we were on a budget and this hotel seemed to be the best value. The rooms are efficient and have all the amenities like a mini kitchen, microwave and fridge. The beds are very comfortable, the showers were luxurious, and the room gives off a cozy modern vibe. The hotel lobby is designed like a spacious and inviting coffee shop where they can cook you up a courtesy breakfast off their menu and enjoy free coffee. We also enjoyed the rooftop bar which had such a cool atmosphere and relaxed while watching a thunderstorm off in the distance. Most importantly, the staff are a sweet and amazing crew and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and were well taken care of. They were so generous with giving us free food from their little store, opening doors for us, giving us advice on where to go, and seemed to genuinely want us to have a wonderful stay. The only thing I would caution is there is no designated parking lot. However we had no problem finding free parking a street over the whole time we were there. The Catbird is also only about a 15-20 minute walk to other restaurants and downtown but the hotel is so amazing you wonā€™t want to leave. Thank you so much for amazing memories. We canā€™t wait to book with you again!

Love this place. Its in an up and coming area, and has a very unique and eclectic vibe. The lobby and rooms are modern, yet cozy with all the amenities you could ask for including a dishwasher and projector. The rooftop has stunning views of the Skyline and surrounding neighborhoods. I also was obsessed with the shower and very comfy beds. The lobby has an easy self-checkin process and great breakfast. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the Denver area:)

So fancy! You can tell a ton of effort went into the style and design of this hotel. I can't believe we had a full size fridge and a projector screen in our rooms - that was cool. My fiancee and I loved the experience here. The bed was so soft, and we loved the common areas. Pretty convenient location too. The few wrinkles we had were dealt with by Angelique very well. Courtney - if you can drop your email address below, I can give some constructive feedback, but overall the positives far outweighed the negatives!

What a great experience. Rhino is a new up and coming location, so many cool places to eat and drink. The Catbird is in the center of it all. Such a future forward hotel. The design is just plain cool from the art work to the workstations situated throughout the lobby. It feels like a lounge, it's super comfortable and efficient. The food was delicious and the rooftop bar and space is like a fun park. Highly recommended!

Such a unique hotel, with great amenities. The self-check in process was quick and easy, and our room was incredibly well appointed. We had such a short stay we didnā€™t get to use the kitchen (which even includes a tiny hidden dishwasher!) in our room but would have definitely cooked a meal had we stayed longer. The space was so well-designed and high-quality, everything has a place so itā€™s truly the best of tiny living. The lobby is a really relaxing spot to post up and play a game or eat breakfast in the morning. We also loved The Red Barber - both the signature cocktails and bites were amazing. Coolest hotel in Denver in my opinion, in a great area, and design lovers will love every corner of this place.

Staff is rude, no one seems to be on the same page. Breakfast was included, now they only make one option thatā€™s free every morning. This was the one of the biggest reasons for us staying since my girlfriend is vegan but every morning all they made were egg dishes. For a $30 amenity charged every day that includes the top floor(closed), breakfast in the morning that you donā€™t get to choose anymore, the playroom(closed) tried opening it on different occasions probably closed for what ever reason they can find to not have to deal with it. For the extra charge for ā€œamenitiesā€ only one was open the gym, Iā€™m surprised they didnā€™t try and close that also. Beware if you valet park you will be searching for a valet to park your car happened to us a couple of the nights one time he kept a car parked at the end of the driveway for 10 minutes while we sat in the street waiting for him to move the car later to find out he gets off at 12 so by making us wait out there until his shift ended he wouldnā€™t have to park another car but he was in the lobby until 12:40 that night. Another night we sat in the car waiting in-front of the valet stand for 5 minutes until we got out started grabbing everything out of the car to go inside. We find the valet and all the staff just talking inside sitting down. Then when it comes to check out our bill was $200 more than what we were told at check in. She fixed it because it was a mistake on the girl that checked us in but then sat there badgering us on who it was she kept asking ā€œasking what did she look likeā€ how am I suppose to remember what some one looks like for 5 days ago that helped us for 5 minutes. Maybe if there was name tags on everyone we could remember names. After telling her the time we checked in and the day sheā€™s was still persistent on what she looked like. There was only one person working when we were checked in and she already said she was going to look at the security footage to see who it was so why does it matter what she looks like when youā€™ll see here come over and talk to us. Overall we would never come back there needs to a retraining over the staff so everyone is on the same page and learn some proper customer service.

This place is absolutley breathtaking. The staff is so nice, the breakfast was awesome, the vibe is super chill, and did I mention rooftop bar?!? There is tons of interesting things to find in the lobby and your room is full of surprises. I travel A LOT and this place is top of my list of places to stay in Denver. Only bad thing is the parking situation, which seems to be the norm for that part of town anyways but they do have a great valet program but it's $42 a night.

This was one of the most interesting, coolest hotels Iā€™ve stayed in. We only stayed for one night, but itā€™s an extended stay hotel if needed. The design is awesome. Bathroom is excellent with the perfect ā€œgetting readyā€ lighting. It has everything you need to cook, store food, and watch Netflix (they have a big shade that doubles as a projector screen). The lobby would be perfect for reading a good book or coffee with a friend. Good location too for anywhere downtown. They have a loft bed with stairs which is different and fun - but not if you have a little too much to drink. :)

This is indisputably one of the coolest hotels I have ever stayed at. The rooms are so innovative and have an efficient, modern design. The rain shower was gorgeous. The location is fantastic. I am actually floored. I don't want to leave!

Stayed at the catbird a few nights. The rooms are great and the loft bed was so comfortable. Nancy was helpful in getting around the city and any other questions we had. We had the breakfast which was amazing. Theresa who was walking around made sure everything was super clean and the place was tidy. They were so friendly and helpful. Canā€™t recommend the hotel enough. Everything was in walking distance and it was nice.

Iā€™ll start off by saying Catbird is a very clean and nice hotel. The rooms are modern and unique with a comfortable bed. A made to order breakfast is included in the price which you donā€™t see very often now. The rooftop is also a cool spot to hangout. We enjoyed the location of the hotel as it was a mile or less from a lot of the breweries and restaurants that we wanted to try. The hotel is very expensive for what it is. There is no on site parking besides valet, which gets super expensive. I recommend parking in the garage down the street for less than half of the price. Our key card didnā€™t work to the playroom/gym area. A small complaint, the water temperature in our shower didnā€™t work. The water stayed unbearably hot no matter what we did, it was really strange. Overall, Catbird is a fun stay but be ready to pay.

The hotel is perfectly located to jump on a train or a bus. The hotel lobby is very modern and cosy and the rooms are very unique and very well equipped. The beds and sheets are very comfortable, the AC is of good quality and we had no noise issues (outside or from other rooms). The fitness room is also nice and good equipped and it is nice to have a rooftop bar in the hotel! We got a good price for our nights at the hotel and overall I would recommend. The breakfast was good, however I did not appreciate that I had to ask to understand what is included and what is extraā€¦ only a few options are included and in my opinion a bit light for a breakfast and apart from the free refill coffee in the lobby all other drinks and any change or addition to the few items on the menu are charged extraā€¦ The breakfast staff seems to not be very organized (they forgot an item on my breakfast, I had to tell them that no more coffee is available and one morning they did not write down my orderā€¦) and is not as friendly as in other hotels we have been. Also the self check in system is in my opinion not useful as still someone comes over to direct and explain us how to proceedā€¦ We were still satisfied with our stay but I have to say that the breakfast experience was a bit disappointing.

Very impressed with this place - modern, comfortable and every detail well thought out for travellers, from hand weights in the bedroom to the hot tub on the rooftop. The whole hotel was immaculate. Itā€™s about a 45min walk from here down Latimer St Downtown which I personally quite enjoyed - itā€™s a buzzing area with lots of great bars and eateries.

Hotel and rooms have nice decor and plenty of areas to chill out including rooftop. However we had multiple water pressure issues with both sinks not draining & toilet would NOT flush properly. We spoke to manager in the morning and told him about water pressure & toilet not flushing made whole room stink. Nobody ever came to fix. No compensation. Would not recommend.

Catbird is one of the most modern and stylish hotels Iā€™ve stayed at. The vibe is so relaxed and comfortable. Rooms were modern and well kept. The loft bed was comfortable and interesting. Everyone has been so friendly. Nancy at the front was so helpful in navigating! Told us how to get around and where to go. The hotel is smack dab right in the art district and easy to navigate. Lots to do/eat within walking distance. Easy access to 38th and Blake if you want to take the A line from the airport. The breakfast was amazing. Canā€™t recommend it enough.

This was the most unique stay i have had in Denver. The manager/staff was so welcoming & helpful. Priceline screwed up giving me a double king when they only had single. The mngr handled it above & beyond expectation. This hotel felt like home. It was so comfortable. The decor was trendy & fun. The doorman/ valet was full of knowledge about Denver dining. He was superb, offering top notch service i haven't had in a long time. This hotel/extended stay nailed it on service & was very accommodating. Also, the home cooked breakfast & extended check out made Catbird #1 place to stay in Denver. I will def be staying at this location in the future and i highly recommend.

This place is awesome! Rooms are super cool and theyā€™ve designed a creative way to maximize the space in the rooms. They also have a really awesome happy hour in the lobby which is perfect to grab a drink before dinner! Highly recommend!!!!

Such a fun hotel! Located in the rino district of Denver and just a short scooter ride to downtown. Thereā€™s an awesome little brewery across the street with yummy pizza. The breakfast is made fresh in front of you and their avocado that is to die for!! The rooms are super funky and cute. The staff was awesome. Would come back here again. The rooftop bar and hot tubs were fun too

For me personally one of the very best hotels so far in a good and fair price level. It is perfectly cleaned what I really appreciate! There are lots of things to explore around in a nice area. Itā€˜s easy accessible with the A-line directly from the airport.

I wasn't a guest there, just visiting in lobby. I really like the decor; it's different, has a modern yet fun aura to it. Relaxing, a good area to hang out with friends. And if you are on the rooftop bar/dining/sitting areas.....bring your friends absolutely! Very nice.

The Catbird is an incredible place to stay. Great location walking distance to all the fun spots in RiNo, and great proximity to Coors Field. The rooms are modern and so comfortable. Great kitchenette and a bed I could lay in forever. And the best part is the staff. They went above and beyond for us the entire stay. Very friendly and helpful. P.S. the made-to-order breakfast and rooftop bar (the Red Barber) are two of the best amenities in Denver. 10/10 highly recommend.

This was a very nice yet unique hotel room. Overall the experience was fantastic. The bed was on a riser which was interesting but the mattress was insanely comfortable. The folks at the front desk were very helpful and had great attitudes. I would definitely stay here again.

A unique concept. Most of the studio rooms have lofted beds to accommodate under-bed storage. Good for the small footprint, not so great for middle-of-the-night bed exits. It's like doing a jungle gym in the dark. Beyond that, I like this place. Less expensive than other downtown hotels and you get breakfast.

If youā€™re visiting Denver then this is the place to stay. I was in town at the Denver Comedy Lounge and stayed here for two nights. The rooftop was fantastic, incredible breakfast(get the strawberry shortcake waffles). The bed was so comfortable and who doesnā€™t want their window to turn into a projector screen? Would absolutely stay here again!

Stayed at the Catbird to celebrate our anniversary, and had the best hotel experience I've ever had! The location is awesome! Close to so many cool breweries, bars, places to grub, and murals to check out. The staff was all very helpful and friendly. The rooms were emaculate. Cannot rave enough about this place.

We absolutely LOVE this place! We've stayed in downtown Denver many times at many different places and this place ranks among the BEST! The decor and vibe was fun and comfortable! The breakfast was delightful. The beds were oh so comfortable. You can tell there was a lot of thought put into the design! The staff was very friendly. We can't wait to come back and we'll stay longer next time!

  • 4/5 Lexie F. 1 year ago on Google
Love, love the concept. The staff was lovely, the room was great. The footings restaurant is nice and convenient but it would be perfect if guests could access the rooftop whenever, not just as restaurant attendees which the hotel makes it sound like is the case but actually isnā€™t. The check in process was also horrible - despite being told I could get in the room early, we had to wait hours and no one explained the system.

So cute!! I would 10/10 stay here again! The bed was so Comfortable and the room was clean. Loved how the bed was elevated on the platform, made the room feel big and cozy somehow. Really cute and trendy decor plus nice staff! Within walking distance to the breweries and restaurants in RiNo. Not sure what happened with some guests who left bad reviews as my husband and I only have positive things to say about Catbird!

I'm a Denver native and stayed at the Catbird Hotel while I was working all weekend. What a treat this stay was! The hospitality was above my expectations. Complimentary breakfast, coffee, happy hour and they even allowed me to use the Catbird Vespa scooter and bicycle. So cool! Breakfast was delicious! The room was cozy and had all the amenities you need to feel at home. The rainfall shower was amazing with so much space. Top notch! All of the staff were super helpful and catered to my every need. Whether you are traveling or just need an amazing place to stay..the Catbird should be your number one choice. Thank you all!
