I have tried 3x to use this place homeless with autoimmune and was referred to boulder shelter instead I literally can't get ANY SERVICES FROM THEM. I get to cook food on a camping grill when I can afford the propane and don't get caught by the cops because and I quote "When can't serve you food we only serve people with homes. I know the homeless of Longmont because I am one and the general perception is this place is worthless if you are homeless. They want everyone sent to Boulder and the our center nice and clean. It's a racket!!!!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

Wasted resource center for helping anyone who doesn't meet specific standards. Requires lease of mail and photo ID. As a First Nation's people civilized tribal member I was turned down. The our center staff wouldn't accommodate me just to sit down because of my slip disc in my back. Heres a sack lunch but no help to anyone. Don't bother wasting your time for write offs who don't care. Live in the spirit not the flesh. AMEN.

Just so that you understand that the date on the can does not mean the food goes bad immediately on that date that most canned goods can be used 2 years or more after the best by date don't starve yourself because of a number on a can you can be selective if the can has swell up or is leaking do not use if you open the can and it smells different than it should be for the item that is in it throw it away I personally use a can of fruit from 2018 recently and it was just fine it's the best by date or the best used by date doesn't mean it goes bad on the date that it says on the can

Expert staff Jasmine is a breath of fresh air and an amazing person of light who was so helpful during my rough times. I still thank God for her helping me.

Unfortunately, if you're not Hispanic or have connections then you might as well not waist your time. I got help but all of my Caucasian friends/acquaintances have been turned away (many of which needed help more than me). They have also changed the rules so that unless you have a physical, Longmont address you cannot receive help. This is hurting those needing help the most...the homeless. You should be ashamed of yourselves OUR Center!

Great staff, good resources, great for breakfast and lunch, if you have hunger, food pantry, good for clothes and donations if you have the extra funds. Though you have to keep an eye out for some of the volunteers, for they have bad intentions!! One small example is taking items (clients food) without permission, even from the clients and giving those people access to their data 😢! One thing you do not want to do, is give CLIENT ACCESS (sensitive information) TO VOLUNTEERS!! Does that violate HIPAA? Meaning do the volunteers have to take a training, to protect client health dietary?

I have been a volunteer for 5 years and proud to be part of the Our Center. The hundreds of people that receive aid ( in many forms) is astonishing. The numbers keep growing. I heard the increase is 35% since post pandemic. Keep up the good work!

Simple stated: they help when you need it. Good people. Great work right here in your community. Can't say enough good about them.

Beware of expired food items. Even thought they told me they don't carry expired items, I returned home to find a bag of chips that had expired 3 weeks ago. I called and Kevin said they can keep that out there a year past it's due date. That's not only dumb, but disgusting. Never going here again.

I went in and tried to do coordinated entery.she told me to have a seat. They let me sit there until they closed then turned me away.

I feel very disappointed on my visit to this "Outreach." I've lived on the road (in my van) for the past 4 years traveling state to state and because I didn't have proof of a lease or residency they told me to kick rocks. I try everyday to see the optimistic side of life, but the perverbial truth is that we are all hurting and we all need help! To be very honest, without a house, much food or money, I am genuinely more happy than the two ladies that "helped" me at this outreach today.

OUR Center helped me out so much in 2004-2006. I appreciate the way they provided immediate help without a lot of questions. They were like, if you need help, we will help you. Their lunches are delicious. I am so grateful to them for helping me when I was down.

Wholesome meals... Feel it should be for any and all. The rest of their community outreach food packages, clothing, financial aid... Yeah ID and monitor. No one person should ever be refused a meal.

People are friendly and very helpful. You can get food their once a week. Get a voucher for clothes once every two months. Also you can have breakfast and lunch there as well.

The OUR Center should be shut down or at the very least, the Colo. AG Office should initiate an investigation into their finances. The OUR Center requests financial donations quite often but where is the money they receive going? Additionally, the CSR staff who answer the phones and are the primary point of contact at the front desk are extremely rude.

There is pretty good food, clothing and household goods. But there is often food whose last day is used. The staff are friendly and very nice✅

Very helpful. They provide their own services and are very know about what resources are available in the Longmont and boulder county area. Friendly, personable staff.
