Beautiful, educational, and fun! Fair warning: this park is on top of a mountain and you have to ride a gondola to get there. If you have a fear of heights you may want to skip it. The views are exceptional. Right away you're ferried to the top in a gondola. The ride is long but leaves you with a lot of time to take in the city, the river, and the surrounding mountains. There's several rides, all of which will leave you looking out over the cliff side. Going on a slower weekday will give you the most bang for your buck. Less people = less waiting in line. Don't forget the main attraction: the cavern tours. Follow a tour guide on a fun and educational trip through the caves and learn about the history, formation, and importance of them. Be sure to budget lots of time to get the most out of your trip. And maybe bring some extra sunscreen since there's not a lot of shade.

It was about $300 for a family of 8, it was super fun! I recommend going on a week day because the weekends would be more crowded. We didn’t stand in line for more than 15 minuets for rides. Make sure to go with kiddos that are 6+ years old or it’s not as fun. The food is reasonably priced and the ride up is super fun! We saw the caves and that was super cool too, tour guide Shae was awesome! Make sure to check out the mountain side swing ride with Thomas because he’s a great instructor for your first crazy ride! Overall a 10/10 experience!

Great unique experience. Small mountain top adventure and thrill ride park. The thrill rides were so fun. Cave tours nice and the staff guides were so knowledgeable and engaging. Resturant reasonable, food good, views excellent. Small size of the park made it perfect for a relaxed day. Lines were not terrible. Good stop for sure.

Always a crowd-pleaser--visited with an extended family group with ages ranging from 2-70. Everyone had a great time with lots of options for the elementary-aged kids, the grandparents, and more challenging attractions for the group in their 20's. After our gondola ride up, we all enjoyed several trips on the Alpine Coaster--always a thrill! The 20's -30's group set off for a previously scheduled "Wild Tour" while the over 60+ group stayed with the kids. We alternated between the 2 caves tours--always informative & engaging as they are led by guides who truly love what they do--and a multitude of age-appropriate attractions for the kids, including laser tag, fossil digging, both smaller roller coasters, a small Ferris wheel and pictures with the trolls after a troll hunt. It was so nice to be able to say "yes" to everything the kids wanted to do with a Fun Day pass. After we reunited with the Wild Tour group, we had plenty of time to explore the Canyon Swing, Defiance, Crystal Tower and the Tree Swings together. The staff is always attentive and friendly and the park is just the right size to explore fully in a day. Even the rest stops in the central plaza were pleasant with live music, convenient restrooms, water bottle refill stations and sunblock. Highly recommended that you spend a day here. You won't regret it!

Came here during the week in Summer. Arrived around 2p, so many from the morning crowd was already gone. It was still plenty of time to ride all the rides. After buying tickets at the bottom, you ride the gondola up to the main entrance. It's a small park, but there's a lot of fun rides for every age group or level of adventure. Lines weren't long at all, with most rides having no line at all. The longest wait was about 30 minutes for the Alpine Coaster which was my favorite ride. The coasters didn't have any lines. The Giant Swing was about 10 minutes and was my second favorite ride that was both exhilarating and had a great view. The tower drop didn't have a line. The Canyon Flyer was less than 5 minutes. If you don't want to do rides, there's 2 cave tours as options as a different ticket than the Funday ticket. Fun place for the family to enjoy some rides without long lines.

Spent a day here and my 11 year old son had a wonderful time. The amusement park is not very large but the rides are cool and the experience is incredibly unique as the amusement park is set on top of a mountain range. You actually need to take a gondola to get up to the park and some of the rides give you the feeling that your going over the edge of a cliff. If your near the area I'd highly recommend a visit to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park!

Went back in March so not everything was open. Didn't wait for more than 10 minutes for the rides that were, and they were a great time. The cave tour was very cool and our guide was awesome. Gift shop and restaurant are right there after you get off the gondola, which is a smooth and beautiful ride up and back down. Worth the visit!

This was even better than I imagined it would be! To be honest, I thought the price seemed a little steep for what I expected to find. We ended up loving it so much we went twice. The views are incredible, the caves are gorgeous and have great guides, and the rides are SO fun! A perfect day of fun for the family. Get there early before it heats up, the lines are shorter too!

Had an absolute blast here! This is such a unique park, great experiences with the rides and cave tours. Staff was top notch and the pulled pork sandwiches here are absolutely legendary. A must visit for sure! Good collection of rides, Defiance is very cool but be warned, the shoulder restrains will bash your head a fair amount! Other than that everything was amazing!

I had a great time on my first ever visit. I will say that every employee (and I mean everyone) was very pleasant and helpful and actually seemed happy to be at work. The alpine coaster was fun. I did both the cave tours and enjoyed them both. Hopefully next time I am back can ride a bit more and their new roller coaster is open. Also, when I came here parking was free and convenient. I could not find information out on the website about it.

We travel all over the country visiting as many amusement and theme parks as we can. This park has been a bucket list for us and it exceeded our high expectations. We went on a perfect early summer weekday. It was a little busy and allow a lot of time to get through the process of ticketing and getting up the mountain. We bought our tickets online, but there was still a long wait to sign waivers and get on board a gondola. Once up top, you are greeted by amazing views everywhere you look. Alpine Coaster is the main draw and the lines were long. Your experience on the coaster will depend on who is going down the hill in front of you. If you like speed and adrenaline, you’ll probably come up on someone going slow. The other long wait for us was the giant canyon swing, but totally worth it. Ride it twice, one trip on each side as they both offer completely different experiences. The food and drink was great, with a restaurant kind of hidden behind the gift shop that offers great views while you eat. One thing that stood out was how friendly and eager the park staff were towards the guests. It really made for a delightful experience. We hope to come back someday, because the park must have a different look and feel as the seasons change and it would be nice to experience more!

This place is amazing. What else can you ask for?? Roller coasters on a mountain?! Dope. Would be nice if they had vegetarian/vegan options and a couple rides were closed. Otherwise, I can’t wait to come back here with my whole family. Caves were great, the coaster is SO FUN, and the tree swing is my favorite ride ever.

We have vacationed in different parts of Colorado a few times over the years, but this was far and away my favorite thing that we have done while there. Such a neat experience. The rollercoasters were fun, the restaurant was great, the cave tours were a relaxing way to get out of the heat for a little while, and the staff were all so friendly. We did go during the week so that may play into it a little bit, but the waits were not bad at all, the most that we had to wait was for the mountain coaster and even that was only around 20 minutes. Even just the gondola ride up to the top is a fun experience. We will definitely be back.

We had such a good time! On vacation from Indiana and passed through Glenwood Springs. We decided to stop and stay there on a whim, so glad we did! Caves were awesome, the rides were all thrill rides. Even just riding to the top to look around would be worth the money. It is off season, so some rides were on an alternating schedule but we still made the best of it. Our kids are 7 & 9 and loved it. Would highly recommend! Also had military discounts for tickets.

Excellent and affordable adventure park. We took the gondola when it opened and were able to ride the alpine coaster twice before it got crowded. I highly recommend doing this! With the fun pass, we also toured the fairy caves... of which I highly recommend. Food at the park is also decent. They have traditional fare (burgers, chicken fingers, etc). We were pleasantly surprised to find adult slushies at the lookout grille.

I had a great time here. The area is stunning. The people are friendly and the rides were fun. Be warned, some of the rides are not fluffy friendly. There is plenty of attractions for everyone in the family.

Honestly if your a thrill seeker I would highly recommend just doing the ultimate package with the gondola, unlimited rides and the cave tours for $69 - person. The gondola and the cave tour package is only $46 a person which isn’t bad at all definitely worth the price. You can buy rides individually at the top in the gift shop and each one is $15 for one ride. They have some great rides at the top. My favorite was the alpine coaster it is rated the 4th best in the country for good reason. When we got there at open which was 10am there was no lines at all so we were able to jump right on the rides. Views are amazing and they have a restaurant at the top with food and drinks. Loved all the fall pumpkins and decorations, as well as the Octoberfest festivities that were taking place throughout the day.

We had a nice time at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. We just bought tickets to the caverns and Gondola. The caves are big and there are 2 different ones to go into. There are lots of rides up top. Definitely a fun time. You can add rides to your ticket if you decide to do it once you are up top.

Such a great, unique experience! We came mid-December and weren’t disappointed. The mountain coaster was a thrilling ride that our 9 and 12 year olds both enjoyed. The cave tour was informative yet fun for all parties. The gondola ride was scenic and warm. The cafe at the top was very well priced and provided unique, hand-crafted beverages. The laser tag area while small was larger than I had anticipated given the location. We made the drive from Denver as part of a longer trip, and happy to say it was worth it. Kids wanted to ride the coaster non-stop!

It's an incredible place to spend a day or weekend with your family, especially if u have kids. They will love the park and the pool. u can enjoy the fall colors up there in the mountains.. also the October festival y so fun and cool. This my first time in the gondolas and the festival, but I usually come to the pools to pass a good family weekend...

A little outdated in some ways and very hot during the day in July but I thought the prices were reasonable given that the alpine coaster at vail is $35 PER RIDE and it was really cool having beautiful views on every ride. The rides that take 1-2 people at a time like the canyon swing, alpine coaster, and zip line had very long wait times. The alpine coaster was worth the wait. The crystal tower was a thrill for sure. The cave tour was way cooler than I thought it would be and a nice break from the heat.

There is so much to do! Something for every age from infant to adult! We spent the entire day there and already feel like we need to go back to explore more. The rides are great, the food is good, and the caves are amazing. This is a must do adventure.

I visited this park with my friends in June of 2023. It was part of an itinerary built by Tyler with Adventure Colorado Tours. This park was amazing. I had never experienced an amusement park on top of a mountain! The gondola ride up to the park gave us outstanding views of the Glenwood Valley. There were very cool rides, including one that swings you off the side of the mountain - I was too afraid to ride, but my friend got on and said he never experienced anything like it. My favorite part was the Fairy Cave tour with Jake (not from State Farm). He was hilarious and very knowledgeable about the caves, how they are formed, and the history of its ownership. My friend group is very inquisitive, and he took time to answer all of our questions. The bioluminescence component was magical. If you get the chance to tour this cave, I hope you're lucky enough to get Jake as your tour guide!

This place is AWESOME!! Had to take a gondola up to the top of the mountain. We went on a Sunday and it wasn’t too busy. Didn’t have to wait too long for the rides, some of them didn’t have a wait at all. They have a gift shop and a spot to get food. We could only ride 3 rides since the rest didn’t open until 5/7 and we went on 4/30. But the rides we did ride, were super cool! My favorite was the big swing. They have a couple spots to get food, not too expensive. I loved this amusement park, I’d go again. Simply for the rides!! 😁

Glenwood Springs Caverns A very cool spot for an amusement park. The ride from the parking lot on the gondolas alone is worth to see views of the canyon and Glenwood that you otherwise would miss. The rides are a thrill for sure especially the Defiance roller coaster (sit on the outside seats) , the Swing (intense) and as well as the Canyon Flyer. Con-The food and other amenities gives you the "sticker shock" that you would expect at a Disney park and NOT a small town, local attraction. The pictures of ride reactions are $20 each that are NOT good quality and are the same price for print or digital. The caverns are a definite must. Absolutely beautiful & a nice break from the heat outside. The guides are very knowledgeable. If you are in Glenwood Springs the park is absolutely worth visiting but be prepared to spend more like it's Disney. HOWEVER the "Summer deal" is a great value for being able to have access to the entire park and re-entry vs paying more for the attractions ala carte.

I have been all over the country visiting parks. I am a roller coaster junkie and often don't ride anything else. I have never had views from the queues like this park. The alpine coaster was great. The giant swing ride was insane! The drop tower was way cool. The Gerstlauer Euro Fighter is a nice addition to the park. Don't skip out on the cavern tours, they are really interesting! My dad came along and didn't ride so it was nice to have the option to buy only a gondola ticket. He loved it! The $6.75 IPA pints in the Lookout Grill were great with awesome views. The gondola ride to the park puts a really cool touch on the experience. Is this a great coaster park? No. Is this an amazing theme/adventure park? Absolutely!
