Tried out the Chicken Dumplings and their Chicken Noodles(spicy) , both were really good and flavorful.

I don’t know why this place has a good rating. It’s some of the worst Indian/Nepali food I’ve ever had. The chicken tandoori was totally dried out and flavorless. The daal and pakora were mediocre. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service was reasonably good, but the food was awful.

We first ordered the Nepalese dumplings, which came steamed, beautifully folded, and filled with deliciously spiced meat. These dumplings were accompanied with a delicious Nepalese dipping sauce. We also shared an order of chicken Malabar, chicken biryani and an assortment of naan which includes garlic, onion and plain. Both dishes were and their naan as very good. delicious and it was spiced perfectly. Their naan was no disappointment either. It was a bit confusing as we entered the restaurant as it has 2 sign. Royal Garden which has been at this location for years and Everest Cafe which is what we were interested in. Glad we tried it. We will be back. It was all very good!

Went in to try only the momo but ended up trying many other things also. WOW!! everything was so good! The Nepalese curry was unlike any other I've ever had. Light, refreshing yet very flavorful. The momos were huge and the sauce was also unlike any other I've ever had. We also ordered the chicken biryani, butter chicken, and garlic Naan. The biryani was bursting with flavor. Butter chicken wasn't my cup of tea but it was def well made. All meats were very tender. Overall a very good meal. We left full, relaxed and very happy with plenty leftovers for the next few days. I usually don't care much for Indian food but I will come here from now on if I have a craving. Wishing this place many more years of success. Would love to explore the menu more and try more Nepalese things. Thank you for a lovely experience..

Cool little spot to try some Nepalese or Chinese. At first, I was confused because they show up as two different places. The Chinese and Nepalese restaurant are combined. When you sit down, the waitress brings two menus, which is interesting. I had some cauliflower curry from the Nepalese menu, and it was DELICIOUS! There was lots of ginger and heavy spices (which I appreciate). The rice was over cooked and the chai tea tasted like it was from an instant mix, but the curry was so good that it overrode those drawbacks in my rating.

The chicken curry was very tender and nicely flavored. Mild and the flavors of the various spices were clear, not overly hot. The lo mein noodles were tender and the sauce flavorful. Menu was carefully and thoughtfully designed. Not hundreds of items but a nice variety. We will come back.

We went in for lunch and the place was empty. We got some appetizers that came quickly. Our main meal, the lamb tika maasal, was just ok. The lamb was a bit old tasting like it was cooked the day before or something, and the spices felt underwhelming. The Chinese spicy beef we got tasted too old to even being bad. It took like 25 minutes to get our main dish, and while our server was pleasant, we only saw her once during the meal to refill water and such. For the price, it was not worth it. The slow service makes this place not a good option for lunch either. Also, this place does not have a lunch buffet to save anyone the drive.

When you walk into The Royal Garden, there are two menus available at the front. One for Royal Garden and one for Everest Cafe. Our family has been going to Royal Garden for a long time, so were interested in trying the Everest menu. So glad we did! The Momo (Nepalese Dumplings) and Kukhura-ko Masu (chicken curry) were absolutely amazing! I am generally not a fan of curry, but the flavors in this dish were well balanced and the chicken was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. The dumplings were a generous size, and the accompanying sauce was flavorful and not spicy (which for some reason I expected). We drank the Nepalese tea, which is Chai tea, and when that arrived at our table we immediately commented on how wonderful it smelled. We will definitely be trying more things on the Everest menu in the future!
