I ended up staying at the Evergreen due to its close proximity to the Vail Health Hospital. That being said, I wasn’t looking for a luxury experience, but rather a comfortable bed & pleasant service experience (both of which, I received). The hotel is nothing fancy, but it doesn’t pretend to be. It could definitely use some updating, but it is, overall, clean and comfortable. The pool, jacuzzi, and sauna are all lovely, and I took advantage of the laundry, too, which worked great. The best part was the staff. I had to extend my trip multiple times, and Valeria and the other front desk staff were super accommodating and kind. When I first arrived, the room next door was very loud, and I requested a change— they were happy to accommodate me and understood without question or hesitation. If you are looking for a fancy time in Vail, this might not be the place for you. But if you are looking for a reasonable, safe, comfortable hotel, I say book it.

I payed over $300 to sleep on an old squeaky bed I could feel and hear every spring on the bed. The room was super tiny the room also had the smallest tv screen ever. It’s just a joke all the way around the pullout sofa was also a nightmare! Want breakfast? All they serve is mini muffins water, water, and rotten fruit. I’ve payed less for way more where they actually make breakfast eggs, bacon, and pancakes. I feel so ripped off please skip this location at all costs!

Cheapest place in the area and still WAY over priced. $300 for one night. No A/C. Hard bed. The picture shows what they consider a complimentary breakfast (apples, tiny muffins, and coffee). For $300 dollars the bare minimum should be a comfortable bed and a hot meal. Would not recommend.

Honest, this was one of the worst hotels i have ever stayed. Anything but 1 star rating is a fake bogus review. They have somehow gamed not just expedia but also tripadvisor and google reviews. Entire hotel stunk of curry (And I like Indian food), room was gross, heating element in bathroom did not work, mold in bathroom, impossible to get hot water and cold balanced as only one knob, floors of room were carpeted and disgusting, beds and bedding were filthy, not enough outlets, 1 elevator was broken, wifi did not work, keys had to be changed after each use as magnetized keys would not work more than once. It was absolutely gross. Oh, location was close to Lions Head and the Hospital (which would have been nicer to stay overnight in for sure). Price was cheap but not worth the low price.

Everything was absolutely great the only thing that could use improvement is their breakfast for guests. More to choose from would make it more admirable for the price you pay for the rooms! Just a thought!!!

I recently stayed at the Evergreen Lodge and had the pleasure of interacting with Miguel during my stay. I cannot say enough positive things about him! Not only was he incredibly helpful with any questions I had, but he was also extremely polite and informative. His attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond truly made my stay even more enjoyable. I felt reassured knowing that Miguel was on duty during the overnight shift. If you're looking for exceptional customer service, look no further than Miguel at the Evergreen Lodge. Thank you for making my stay memorable!

The Evergreen Lodge was a nice stay with a clean room, small continental breakfast, and excellent service. It has a great location between two walkable Villages, Vail village and Loinshead village. It's apparent however that the lodge has not been renovated for some time. It is one of the more affordable places to stay in Vail which is why I stayed there.

This place had generally positive reviews online and was one of the most affordable options to stay in Vail for the night. Here’s the catch when I arrived: 1) the hot water in the shower only stayed hot for about 5 minutes then ran cold and stayed cold. 2) the sheets were stained and appeared dirty to the point that my fiancé voiced discomfort with the cleanliness of the place 3) the rooms were HOT. At least 73 degrees Fahr. I was sweating when in bed with nothing covering me. I even tried taking a cold shower and laying down and began sweating soon afterwards due to the heat. When I brought this to the front desk manager’s attention, Greg, he offered a different room on a lower floor. Sure, I checked it out, and it was the exact same temperature. I let Greg know, and he once again offered another room. This next room was about 1 degree cooler, but I would still consider 72 degrees as too warm to sleep comfortably. Additionally, I noticed that in every room, the thermostat didn’t work. It was just there to make people feel like it did something. There was also a manual fan (like one you plug into a wall and place by your bedside) in every room. It was obvious they know the place runs hot. When I brought these to Greg’s attention, I also asked for a refund. Who in their right mind would agree to $200 for a night in a hotel with conditions like this? Had these conditions been advertised up front, I never would have booked it. Greg granted my request for a refund He then instructs me to vacate the room. At this point it is 1:00AM. Look, I get it. If they let us stay, we would be basically staying the night for free. However, I clearly communicated that my fiancé I were distraught, frustrated, and physically uncomfortable with their service, and to top it off we were kicked out on the streets in the middle of the night. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had as a frequent traveller. Please avoid like the plague.

WARNING!! Do NOT book a room here within two weeks of your arrival date, because if something unforseen happens & you have to cancel you will get NO refund back! It doesn't matter if it's a family emergency or natural disaster they will let you know you are SOL!! Best to go with a well-known hotel/hotel chain that will be willing to work with you.

Breakfast choices were less than mediocre. Indian restaurant was great, but there weren't any microwaves in rooms for leftovers, if you're on a budget. I suppose Vail isn't a place for that anyway.

Perfect hotel for attending the hospital next door. They offer a reduced rate room for hospital patients over night stay.

Return visit to this hotel. Room decoration is a little basic but rooms are spacious, clean, and comfy. Bathrooms well-stocked with towels and serviced daily. Staff, both on reception and house-keeping, are fantastic. Complimentary pastries and coffee available in the reception area at breakfast. We wish there was an option of a paid-for breakfast with more items, e.g. bagels and cream cheese, or toast. Location of the hotel is exceptionally good if you are attending an event at the Dobson Arena - less than 5 minutes walk from the back of the hotel.

Lovely spot with a great location. The rooms are dated but do the job. Both restaurants are good and convenient. If you are planning to ski, the rental ski equipment is the cheapest in Vail. Would come again.

Bed probably meets the legal definition. Shower head needed to be replaced, it sprayed all over. Water would get hot then cold then back to the desired temperature. I kept trying to make it colder, but it just gave me what it wanted. It reminds me of the TV shows where they flip a house and only replace surface things. It's not fun to hop the bus either way to get to the gondola in ski boots. Ski locker storage isn't very convenient; we opted to store them in our car. The hot tub was so hot I could only get my feet in for 5 seconds before it felt like burning; it was always empty.
