The last owners were AMAZING!!! So friendly, got to know their customers by name. The coffee was the absolute best, hot & great flavour ( lots of chocolate cocoa on top) Toasted sandwiches were filled to the brim with your choice of filling. A great big THANK YOU WENDY, your husband & team. Many of us are sad to see you go 🥹 Sad to say that so far the new owners need staff that knows what to do. Everything I ordered was incorrect. The coffee isn’t the same and no more free donuts for Seniors if you order a combo ie food and a drink. Free donuts only if you order a drink. Hope all goes well for you moving forward 😊

Is this the same Donut King where we once enjoyed a pleasant coffee and friendly service with a smile? Unfortunately, it seems that the customer service has taken a downturn, particularly under the new manager. Despite offering a polite "good morning," there was no response, and the manager's tone was quite unpleasant, making it feel more like I was being ordered around than served. I was away for a few months, and during that time, the franchisee changed. This transition left the entire community dissatisfied, as we now miss the previous owner's excellent service and warm demeanor. Regrettably, I don't plan to return to this establishment due to the decline in service quality. It's disheartening to see that what was once a bustling place from 11 am to 2 pm is now nearly empty, and this decline can undoubtedly be attributed to the deteriorating service standards.

Miss the previous owners. They were extremely friendly, valued their customers and coffee’s taste was consistent. Current owners are nothing but useless and very rude. We had to throw the coffee the moment we tasted it. Never coming back.

My experience today unfortunately was not the best! Not only is the prices ridiculous I waited 30 minutes for 6 donuts and was told it would take 5 mins. At least 3 customers that got there 20 mins after me got their donuts before me and I was completely forgotten about. They had at least 4 girls working behind the counter and 1 of them was pacing around and doing nothing. Fresh Donuts were sitting there for at least 10 mins and instead of serving them up and I could have gotten them sooner instead this girl did nothing and was in her own world. I understand it gets busy but to have to wait half hour for just 6 simple donuts and then be forgotten about and others get served there donuts before me when I had been there way longer then them is beyond a joke.

We threw our hot dogs out. The bacon was was not the right colour at all. The onion was kinda raw and the hot dog was not hot. You guys done your food safety courses recently?

Where's the donuts??? Never an iced donut in sight till after 9.30am This was my go to place every morning for a coffee at 7am on the way to work, the place was fully stocked, very busy and coffee was amazing. Now 7am, there is nothing........ Soul Origin are making a motza from all the old DK customers.

Very unhappy mumma here. My daughter applied for a job. Got stuffed around until finally was told she was successful. Was told to check the roster using their app.....which didn't work. She spoke with the manager and was told no shifts that week but could she be available if someone couldn't work. Phone call to say working an 8hr shift on 1st day (10-6). Showed up and 2hrs in got asked to finish at 2pm (because it will blow labour budget). Was left alone with 1 other staff member (2nd shift) for 40min. Ran out of donut batter and orders kept coming through. Was hurried to clock off and then asked if she could stay (and work for free?) Hasn't had any feedback from manager. Checked roster again and has no shifts? Hasn't been paid either! I'm not happy. She isn't happy. The community is not happy !

Useless. Did not get anything right. Got tastiest. Then 10 mins later, the coffee arrived. Asked for takeaway cups and guess what! Another 5 mins before coffee arrived, cold. Never to return.

THSI has to be one of the busiest Donut King store that I’ve seen in many years travelling. It’s constantly busy with at least 15-30 people sitting down in front consuming their products. $4.50 for a iced donut or $1.80 for a single cinnamon donut is a rip off but it looks like I’m the only one to disagree here based on how many customers this business attracts.

Please put more staff on in the afternoon Went there this afternoon the 2 girls where overwhelmed It’s a busy shop More experienced staff needed Young girls where doing the best they could but ridiculous wait times for customers 😥

Ordered 2x hot dogs and 2 cheese, ham and tomato toasted sandwiches plus a ham and cheese. Only one hot dog and one ham cheese and tomato was delivered. Door dash will not help and said take it up with Glendale store who don’t answer their phone

It was late in the day, and the staff were stretched trying to cope. But doing their best. I just had coffee which while there was a bit of a wait was nice when it did arrive.

If there was an option to leave a zero star that would be the one I’d give, the manager is very curt and has no clue when it comes to customer service. Dirty tables, ignoring customers, slow service. I will be surprised if they see much of 2024
