The doorman Griz absolutely made our night here. From the minute we walked in, as a female he mentioned that if we needed anything to let him know. As a service industry veteran, this meant a lot. He is kind and attentive and thorough in everything that he does in keeping everyone safe. The bar staff was cool and patient as well, but I want to highlight Griz's contribution to the safety and functioning of our experience. He is absolutely amazing!! This place is a lot of fun!

Great Irish pub. We had the Shepherd's Pie and the Irish nachos. The mimosas were on special price at the time of our visit. $4.00! (Sunday brunch) Our server was polite and checked on us frequently. Great background music. Plenty of tvs for sports fans as well.

Atmosphere is excellent. Only had a Guinness and the Irish nachos on this visit but they were pretty decent. Several TVs but not too many, and a side room with a pool table. Bathroom toilet paper stocking was a bit carefree, see the last picture 😆. Parking is on the challenging side since it’s a busy area but it can be done. Will certainly be coming back if the opportunity arises.

This is a wonderful place. I’ve not had Guinness this good since I lived in London a few years back. The food is delicious. The Irish Nachos are great, and that’s coming from a Texan who loves a good nacho dish. We also had the BLT, Shepherd’s Pie, and Grilled Cheese and fries, all excellent. The lady enjoyed the Wed special pink drink also. The service is very attentive. I’m glad I took the recommendation from a dear friend to visit, and brought family with me. There’s paid parking a couple of blocks away so don’t let the streets scare you off. It’s worth a couple of bucks to park for such a nice experience!

Feeling a little Irish? How about some Grateful Dead? I wasn't at first til I came in on this snowy Wednesday. Jim and his crew have been awesomeness, tell me what's better to warm your bones than a shot of Jameson and a bowl of they're soup. I'm broke and mid move but I will be back to try the food tomorrow.

Best wings I had so far, the spicy Thai was spectacular. The nail game with the log was also fun to play and the decorations are really unique.

I can't rave enough about the down home, neighborhood feel about this spot. You will feel right at home here having a pint and the food is fantastic. No pizza in a microwave here. This is is good ol' Irish home cooking. Everything is fresh and from scratch. I had a Reuben sandwich that was outta this world and washed it down with a couple o' pints of Guinness. If you wanna feel like a local and a part of the neighborhood, Dougherty's is a must stop.

This place is fantastic! If you happen to be in the Baker neighborhood of Denver do yourself a favor and stop by Dougherty’s for some delicious whiskey and soup and say hi to Wes (the owner) and Winston (his chocolate lab/maitre d’) thank me later.

This was a go-to place in my neighborhood before 2014. It went downhill, along with the neighborhood, after every hopped-up druggy moved to Denver. I suggest asking for crispy sweet chilli wings during happy hour. You can get good wings for 3 bucks during happy hour. Other than that: the meatloaf is a piece of toast with a bit of meat mixed in, the mash is what you could make at home from a packet, the fries are undercooked, and the meat is just thawed grossness. This place is good for a strong drink and cheap wings during happy hour. Do not ever eat real dinner there. It is disgusting.

Maybe tell your security/bouncer not to say misogynistic things to women when they are entering/leaving your bar like “smile more, it’s free”…. Gross.

While this bar wasn't particularly my type, it did seem like a common hang out for locals. Interesting spot to check out!

I am always a fan of Irish pubs and this is one of the better ones in the Denver. I would just recommend going in a non COVID world. I really enjoyed my time there but my experience was definitely hindered by the pandemic. The lack of a lot of beers and happy hour had rubbed me the wrong way. But otherwise, I enjoyed our server and the food was pretty solid. I am coming back soon enough!

I live very near here, thigh I don't come in very often. Now and again all pop in for something quick to eat. I generally gravitate to the Shepard's Pie, and it is consistent and tasty, though not what one would really call authentic. If there's any lamb in it at all, it's fairly spare. But like I said, it's tasty, and I'll be back and I'll eat it again.

Great place. Fun down to earth place to bring the friends. Enjoy a beer or cocktail after work. Staff is always friendly with good service. The kitchen is great with a good menu.

Great neighborhood pub. Large selection of spirits, including Irish Whiskey (LOVE the Keeper's Heart Irish + Bourbon). If you sit at the bar, be prepared to get decent service with a lot of banter between the regulars. The pastrami samdwich is fabulous! If coming on a weekend evening, be prepared to stand and/or socialize. The place is packed.

An Irish pub on South Broadway, pretty much exactly what you would expect it to be. I don't believe they serve food which means they're 100% focused on providing alcohol. It's a no frills place and full of eclectic people. There's a pool table and you can play "stump" (a game of hammering nails into a tree stump). I will say the bouncers did a very good job of keeping things under control. It's small enough that if someone starts acting like a jerk, the staff is made aware of it and they will handle the situation professionally. People may get drunk there, in fact people will definitely get drunk there, but the security is very good.

I must say, this place is incredible. It's been a few years since I lived in London, and I haven't had Guinness this amazing since then. The food is absolutely delightful. As someone from Texas who appreciates a savory nacho dish, I can confidently say that their Irish Nachos are top-notch. Moreover, we had the pleasure of savoring their delicious BLT, Shepherd's Pie, and Grilled Cheese with fries, and they were all outstanding. In addition to that, the lady I was with thoroughly enjoyed the special pink drink of the day.

One of my favorite neighborhood spots! Has that great dive bar vibe, cheap drinks and merry people. I would love it if they offered Irish coffee though!

Gilly treated me like he has known me for years. Great vibes and decor. Best.pour on a Guinness I've seen in a while. Will be back!

Owner/staff suck. Read another review that mentioned entitlement. That hits the nail on the head. Realize that you're lucky to have customers... customers aren't lucky to have you.
