My
husband
and
I
were
fortunate
to
stay
at
the
newly
renovated
Flora
House
on
its
opening
weekend
for
our
6th
anniversary
and
it
was
absolutely
perfect
in
so
many
ways!
We
loved
the
location
-
just
steps
away
from
shopping,
restaurants,
and
public
transport,
yet
set
back
enough
from
the
main
street
that
you
really
did
feel
like
you
were
in
your
own
quiet,
private
oasis
away
from
the
bustle.
We
spent
a
lot
of
time
in
the
garden
-
basically.
we
didn't
want
to
leave.
It
was
lush
with
flowers,
herbs,
vegetables,
and
a
trickling
fountain.
We
brought
their
locally
grown
coffee
out
each
morning
to
relax
into
the
day
and
we
finished
our
evenings
with
a
deep
soak
in
their
hot
tub.
We
saw
one
other
couple
while
we
were
there
and
they
were
lovely,
but
basically,
it
felt
like
we
were
staying
in
our
own
mansion!
The
bedroom
was
super
comfortable.
The
new
owners
did
a
remarkable
job
of
blending
the
beautiful,
ornate
pieces
from
the
original
home
with
new,
contemporary
pieces,
so
it's
got
this
really
cool,
unique
vibe
of
old
versus
new
that
we
LOVED.
All
of
the
rooms
were
named
after
flowers
and
we
selected
Zinnia,
which
was
hard
to
do
because
they
all
looked
so
wonderful!
The
room
was
perfect
-
comfortable
mattress,
bright
and
airy
space,
amazing
tile
in
the
bathroom,
and
all
these
little
touches
that
my
detail-oriented
husband
really
appreciated,
like
robes
for
the
hot
tub
and
even
blackout
curtains
and
a
Bluetooth
speaker-alarm.
They
also
had
a
bunch
of
extra
supplies
on
the
landings
near
the
rooms
so
that
was
super
convenient
so
we
didn't
have
to
ask
for
anything!
This
is
our
first
staycation
at
this
beautiful
boutique
hotel.
We
live
south
of
Denver
and
we
like
to
catch
an
occasional
show
at
a
local
venue.
We
love
how
close
they
are
to
The
Bluebrid
and
Ogden
Theatres,
two
of
our
favorites!
AND,
we
learned
that
there
is
a
Red
Rocks
shuttle
pick-up
literally
across
the
street
at
Illegal
Pete's,
so
this
is
going
to
be
our
hotel
of
choice
for
local
music!
We
can't
wait
to
come
back!
