Absolutely loved our stay here at the Flora House! This B&B has recently been renovated and it is stunning. We stayed in the Zinnia room which was perfect for a romantic getaway in the city. Prime location within walking distance to so many restaurants and local attractions. The details in the guest rooms go above and beyond. Beautifully decorated with locally sourced coffee and so many other classy touches to make your stay feel extra special. The outdoor garden area is so pretty and relaxing – hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor games - couldn’t have asked for a more inviting place. Loved the self-serve breakfast with so many delicious items to start your day. Can't wait to come back!

What a beautiful place! It was renovated recently and brand sparkling new again, it is a great mix of gorgeous old with new conveniences. Perfect location for taking in the Denver life and sights. We stayed in the Iris room and it was HUGE and comfortable! The patio is gorgeous and the hot tub was fun. I can tell the staff truly wants a great experience for all guests. Can't say enough nice things and can't wait to stay there again!

There are so many great things to say about the beautiful Flora House, our stay was amazing!! There are so many personal touches and a comfortable homey vibe without sacrificing any feeling of privacy. The innkeepers were so nice! They brought a heater to our room for the cold weather and were available to provide recommendations. We absolutely loved their breakfast. They had a large garden accessible for smoking, stoner or not- this place has a welcoming chill vibe, and it was only a few minutes drive from everything I wanted to see while in Denver :)

Feels like home! We have had a truly wonderful couple of short stay’s at Flora House Denver. We started our Colorado trip with three nights there before touring some of the state. The. Returned to have our final two nights there. The house itself is beautifully decorated and feels very homely as are the rooms. There is also a lovely outdoor space and brilliant modern hot tub. The breakfast is delicious and varied and prepared fresh every morning. It’s a real treat to start the day. The team are chatty and friendly and can’t do enough for you! The location is great, from a perspective of reaching it from the airport it’s convenient but it also sits nearby to vibrant Colfax which has ample bars, restaurants and places to eat. You can walk through the quiet suburbs to downtown Denver which we did on multiple occasions. The nearby parks are also great if you’re into running or just fancy a pleasant walk. We loved Flora house and wouldn’t think twice about booking again if we find ourselves in Denver.

This place is beautiful and comfortable with spacious rooms and glorious bathrooms. It has a live-like-a local feel and location that guarantee we will return to soon. The proprietors tended to every detail - aesthetically and snack-wise. The hot tub was clean and a great spot from which to enjoy the spacious backyard which has lots of intimate seating areas. The onsite parking was great and the free passes to the super close Denver Botanic Garden an unexpected treat! Fascinating in winter. Great location for walks to good and interesting restaurants and Cheesman Park. We’ll be back!

In town visiting family and this was the perfect accommodation for that: great location; beautifully decorated inside with spacious courtyard; very comfortable and surprisingly quiet; nutritious, tasty food for my palette; and of course friendly and available staff—Brian and Courtney—and owner Jen making sure I had everything I needed. Felt like home; would stay there again and would recommend it to anyone. Well done.

What a great little spot, an incredible continental breakfast, friendly staff, beautiful backyard. We stayed in the 2 room Stargazer suite. Great remodeled bathroom. Biggest complaint is PARKING. I called and asked about parking and they said yes there's parking. However there's only 5 spaces for all the rooms and not assigned. So after a long day of work, circling to find street parking was exhausting. Those spots are often full. Also wish the front room area was more inviting. But this spot is lovely.

Oh my goodness! This beautiful house was just the perfect stay for my husband and I needing a peaceful and cozy getaway! Everything about Flora was just perfection! The room was sooo beautiful (We stayed in Star Gazer), the bel real fast was delicious and so well done, the garden and patio are just so tranquil and peaceful. All the staff were just so friendly, helpful and kind in making our stay even more enjoyable! We met the owner, Jen and she was just the BEST! We can’t wait to be able to come back and stay again! Loved all the unique antiques and beautiful decor and touches! ❤️

Flora House Denver was such an amazing experience! My nephew and I enjoyed our time there. The Innkeepers were fantastic. We loved the Zinnia suite but the entire house was beautiful and clean. The hot tub was great. Beyond my expectations and excited to stay again.

If you're scouring the internet looking for a great place to rest your head, look no further. From the moment my Wife and I walked through the front door we fell in love with this place! It's impeccable! Comfortable! Beautiful! Warm and friendly... My wife and I had limited time in Denver, and when we asked our Host Jen what sights we should visit, she gave us fantastic recommendations. From beginning to end out stay was top notch. If I could give more stars, I would. Do yourself a favor, go to their website and book your stay! You'll be glad you did! Go Bills!

Such a lovely place! I had the good fortune of staying here twice in one week. Every detail is considered and the vibe is awesome. Love the patio. My first room was the Orchid suite, which was great. So much room, especially since it was just me. Second room was Zinnia - adorable, huge bathroom. Little small for 2 - but no big deal. Everyone involved is so nice. This will be my place whenever I come to Denver.

My husband and I visited Denver to see the Counting Crows at Red Rocks. We stayed at the Flora House for 2 nights. Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The owner and staff were so friendly and helpful! The outdoor space is gorgeous and we enjoyed the hot tub. Our room was so beautiful! I wish would have had more time to enjoy the space. When we reserved we noted that we both eat gluten free and we were delighted to see gluten free options at breakfast and in the fridge! We will definitely book again the next time we travel to Denver!

I was looking for somewhere special to stay for our weekend anniversary trip to Denver and absolutely nowhere else could have been better. Jen is great about communicating and available for questions. We flew in pretty early and were able to secure our bags so we could start exploring. When we checked into the room we were greeted with a beautiful display of chilled champagne , chocolate covered strawberries, and a super sweet note. We stayed in the silver fern room and it was perfection. So comfortable, roomy and peacefully decorated. We basked in every little detail that was no doubt carefully chosen by the owner; the monstera shower wall, healthy live plants in the room , delicate floral accents perfectly placed throughout the house, and the restored furniture. The breakfast spread was amazing. We loved the hot tub and hanging out in the garden. Just can’t say enough good things , we can’t wait to come back to explore more of Denver and hopefully catch a show at red rocks amphitheater!

We had the most amazing visit at Flora House. We were celebrating our anniversary and escaping our kiddos for a night. It was a short visit but it was awesome! We loved the independence of the no contact “check in”. The entire house was so beautiful, as well as the gardens. The hot tub was amazing and so peaceful. Everything was so clean.

Absolutely loved our stay at Flora House. Our room was so comfy especially after a day of adventures in Denver. The atmosphere of the hotel was very relaxing and inviting, they took care of everything! They had chilled strawberries set in the room(there's fun optional add-ons) for my fiances birthday and he loved it! Definitely recommend, Jen and the staff were absolutely lovely!

Flora House and her keepers were amazing! This spot is in a gem of a location, we walked to parks, the Botanical Gardens, coffee houses, dinners and so much more! Easy commute to downtown and venues...in short, we loved everything about our stay! The whole home is so so comfortable and decorated with every detail in mind- the hot tub is wonderful and in the really beautiful courtyard which feels like a dream! They even had s'more service at night and a lovely breakfast each morning. Wow! Wish we could stay forever, but will definitely return when we have more time!

A lovely Victorian house, beautifully restored in the ways that matter in a great neighborhood in Denver. Spotlessly clean and honoring the historic legacy and aesthetics of the period but with modern conveniences. The people who operate it are kind, accommodating, and available but never overbearing. Be aware this is a house, so rooms on the second and third floor are not accessible by elevator. Private bathrooms, parking on-site, free WiFi, and continental breakfast with delicious coffee from a local roaster. Highly recommended!

Loved the feeling of walking into the house and to my room without having the sterility of a lobby. The Iris suite was perfect for my extended work trip. It was well decorated, comfortable, and again felt like home. I really enjoyed having a yoga mat as well. The neighborhood was quiet, yet centrally located with many food options within walking distance. Host Jen also steered me in the director of great running paths and restaurants around the city. Will definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our "staycation" at Flora House! What a fresh, light-filled luxurious retreat! As a lover of all things beautiful, there was so much beauty to feast upon!...from the well-appointed vintage pieces mingling effortlessly with new sparkly updates, to the colorful and quirky bathroom tile that made me smile. We cherished a quiet morning sipping coffee in the main living room, basking in the richness of the historic woodwork, windows, staircase and fireplace, and I chuckled at the beautiful juxtaposition of contemporary rugs, upholstery fabrics, and wallpaper...so well done!! No dreary dried flower wreaths from long ago here, rather healthy and thriving plants situated just so... The dishes we enjoyed our coffee and treats on were lovely also. Vintage books and old travel trunks made me nostalgic, while the sparkly crystal chandeliers with black accents were the perfect balance of modern attitude to keep if fresh and unpredictable. Can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at Flora House. It was absolutely charming, from the way the house looked, the decor, and most of all, the hosts. Jen was especially knowledgeable and helpful, so hit her up for wine recommendations! There was an incredible amount of thought put into the decor of the whole place, that made it feel like the old school B&B/homestay. It felt like we were staying with family or old friends. It was winter so it was a little difficult to enjoy the hot tub in the garden but the backyard was beautiful. You could enjoy barbecue marshmallows in the backyard, and enjoy the outdoor heating while drinking hot chocolate. Jen also gave us complimentary tickets to the Botanic Gardens, which was a nice, serene place to visit even in the dead of winter. We would return in a heartbeat.

A truly perfect place and masterfully curated home. Great new owners, amazing renovations that still keep the charm, great amenities and little touches throughout the stay. Better than any hotel. Thanks Jen and Lee!

We loved our stay at Flora House! The new owners have updated this 19th-century gem of an old inn with attention to detail that includes modern comforts that cater to today’s traveler. We also loved the inn’s location in an interesting historic neighborhood, which was walkable to good restaurants and espresso cafes, city parks and the wonderful Denver Botanical Garden, and even downtown and the Denver Art Museum. The owner Jen and innkeeper Gregory were incredibly friendly, helpful, and very responsive to every question and request. Staying at Flora House while exploring Denver was definitely a highlight of our cross-country trip, and we hope to stay there again the next time we travel through Colorado.

Outstanding service and very cozy rooms. The hostess was very fun to talk to, and the work that her and her husband have put into making this hotel feel like home is astounding. Very convenient to downtown Denver, 15-20 minute bicycle ride to restaurants and shopping. I definitely recommend staying here!

I cannot put into words how incredible our stay at the Flora House was. Words will not do it justice! If you are looking at staying at a B&B in Denver, this is the only place to stay. My husband and I live in NC and booked an anniversary trip to Denver and wanted the more personalized experience for our stay rather than booking a hotel etc. This bed and breakfast far exceeded any expectations we had. The location is absolutely perfect and close to everything. The home itself is stunning and beautiful and so very cozy. We were lucky enough to meet both of the owners and felt like we were greeted by family. From check in to check out, we could not have felt more at home and like we were staying with best friends. They provide every accommodation and amenity you can think or possibly need, the staff is always available if you need anything (which you won’t because they have thought of everything!), and we were provided with the best places to visit and dine at while we were in Denver. The breakfast every morning is incredibly fresh and delicious, featuring produce from their own garden. We especially loved how “green/earth” friendly this place is as they have recycling and composting bins for everything. Again if you are looking to book the best stay in Denver, or are wanting to book an event, this is your place. Seriously you don’t need to stay anywhere else. We hope to be back very soon and look forward to staying here again! Thank you to the owners and hosts who made this the most perfect anniversary and best experience!

The breakfast was by far the best part of the experience. Eggs, bacon, fruit, and French toast was the best ever. The garage was a nice place to enjoy your stuff. The only complaint was that the rooms were super cold and there was a hornet flying around the house.

My husband and I were fortunate to stay at the newly renovated Flora House on its opening weekend for our 6th anniversary and it was absolutely perfect in so many ways! We loved the location - just steps away from shopping, restaurants, and public transport, yet set back enough from the main street that you really did feel like you were in your own quiet, private oasis away from the bustle. We spent a lot of time in the garden - basically. we didn't want to leave. It was lush with flowers, herbs, vegetables, and a trickling fountain. We brought their locally grown coffee out each morning to relax into the day and we finished our evenings with a deep soak in their hot tub. We saw one other couple while we were there and they were lovely, but basically, it felt like we were staying in our own mansion! The bedroom was super comfortable. The new owners did a remarkable job of blending the beautiful, ornate pieces from the original home with new, contemporary pieces, so it's got this really cool, unique vibe of old versus new that we LOVED. All of the rooms were named after flowers and we selected Zinnia, which was hard to do because they all looked so wonderful! The room was perfect - comfortable mattress, bright and airy space, amazing tile in the bathroom, and all these little touches that my detail-oriented husband really appreciated, like robes for the hot tub and even blackout curtains and a Bluetooth speaker-alarm. They also had a bunch of extra supplies on the landings near the rooms so that was super convenient so we didn't have to ask for anything! This is our first staycation at this beautiful boutique hotel. We live south of Denver and we like to catch an occasional show at a local venue. We love how close they are to The Bluebrid and Ogden Theatres, two of our favorites! AND, we learned that there is a Red Rocks shuttle pick-up literally across the street at Illegal Pete's, so this is going to be our hotel of choice for local music! We can't wait to come back!

Edit: I deleted this review because I thought it was the wrong place, since I made the review back when it was The Adagio Bud & Breakfast. Now I see that it's under new management and called Flora House Denver. Edit: I made my original review 6 months ago and im making a PBJ sandwich. All I crave is the delicious homemade blueberry jam she made and the amazing breakfast she cooked to our liking. It's seriously a great stay! The owner is amazing, super helpful and flexible when my trip dates changed. They made us breakfast each morning, close to many places to eat and dispensaries. Plus they have the bonus garage which makes the WHOLE trip worth it. I 10000% recommend!!

Flora house is a beautiful and tranquil oasis in the heart of Denver. I was lucky enough to recently stay at Flora house and I could not have been more delighted! Flora house is a gorgeous Victorian home from the 1800’s with all of the history and charm of that era, beautifully updated to today’s modern standards and suit your every need. The details in the room, common area and garden are amazing! Simply gorgeous. I had a wonderful time relaxing in their garden jacuzzi and chatting with other guests at their delightful breakfast. Just blocks from the botanical gardens, this place is a must visit if you are in search of the best that Denver has to offer!

What an amazing place. My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Flora House. Could not have been more happy. The updated renovations are amazing and it is clear that the new ownership paid attention to the details. We spent most of our time relaxing on site but with it being so close to Denver and other great restaurants we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. A great place to stay if you are from out of town or just want a special night in the city!
