A quick walk from the parking lot. Scenery is incredible, just wish that other visitors were as courteous as the signs request. These are a historical monument, not a platform for influencer yoga.

I hiked up castle trail to the ruins. Fairly good steady incline for 3 miles. It's a good workout. The ruins are very interesting to walk through, some of the sections are fenced off due to instability. Great place to visit and learn a bit of history!

Was an easy hike from the parking, not even close to a mile if you use the west trailhead parking

Awesome experience! Two parking lots on mount falcon. The west lot is at the top, and these ruins are not far from there at all. More adventurous? Park at the Morrison parking lot and hike up the trail to the top. The runs have info placards for the history buff in you. But really neat to check out.

Amazing place for a hike and picnic. Is not as strenuous as other hikes if you place yourself you can make it to the White House! The Walker ruins are an outstanding look at old housing from the 19 century. Dogs are allowed and there are picnic tables all around the main entrance to the trail, benches every now and then on the trail if you get tired and need to catch your breath.

We went on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Found parking at 10am, but the parking was overflowing by 11:15am. Wide, fairly flat trails to the ruins. Outhouse and map is down trail a little bit from the parking lot.

Very rich in history just a short walk on the trail. Very stroller friendly a great walk for all ages and shows some of the history of this great area.

This is on one of the trails at Mnt Falcon. Interesting history. If you are hiking Mnt Falcon, take the Castle Trail.

If you're interested in local Colorado history, this is an interesting place to visit. You can search for a lot more information online than I'm going to put down here. The ruins of the Walker mansion are in good shape. I was fascinated with it when I was there 30 years ago. It's still interesting. It's part of the more interesting Mount falcon Park.

This is a relatively easy hike from the West Trailhead. Great views of the front range from here and plenty of open space to enjoy some quite even with a full parking lot of visitors.
