Reception staff is very friendly and welcoming.. Rooms are clean and decent size.. Location is good, Kotara Westfield is 10mins walk.. only downside is, car park is across the road..

Surprisingly pleasant. Nice and clean and very friendly staff. Wasn't expecting much especially after my other accommodation booking delivered an uninhabitable room. One tiny issue was you can hear the music from the bar in your room, but that finished before midnight which was ok

Good hotel in good location. Room nice, clean and comfy and convenience of really nice food close by. However the stand by light on the TV is ultra bright and had to be covered up to sleep. If you can't sleep through noise then this may not be the place for you. You can slightly hear the live music from downstairs and I was awoken at around 6:30am to what sounded like some maintenance on the roof

Rooms were spotlessly clean. Beds super comfortable. Restaurant had a delicious variety of food and all staff were amazing and caring.

I stayed here overnight with my partner as we had to attend to a 30th in New Lambton. When we arrived we weren't sure where the reception is. The reception is situated inside the post office next door to the tavern, there's a separate door. The staff was some young adults (probably in their 20's) and they were super friendly. They advised that we pay on the way out so they'll take your details and pass the card key to your room. The room was nice and ideal for us. The bathroom was HUGE. If you park at this place, best to do it across the street (there's a small car park area for you to park unlimited hours) cause there's only 1 hour parking at the front of the tavern The only issue with the room is one of the tap was a bit loose but overall it was a nice enjoyable stay. Ideal if you're staying their overnight.

I stayed here for work. The staff were friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. The room was excellent, clean and comfortable. The restaurant was incredible. The food was well prepared and presented.

Quiet clean rooms good location comfy beds great staff service and meals

Great trivia night and some good food.

Room was comfortable and the location convenient. We have back issues so beds can be an issue, but here the bed was fine. Disappointed on check in to find several live cockroaches in room, but staff supplied bug spray and this issue was solved. The next day staff offered to move us to a different room, but we were happy to stay as no more creepy crawlies were spotted. A liitle perplexed the hotel restaurant closed early at 8pm on Sunday night but all up a reasonable stay and good value.

I often stay here for work and the rooms are always very clean. The service here is always very good. The restaurant has amazing service and the food is always awesome. I enjoy the raffles they have here and the environment in the downstairs pub is always welcoming. It also has a postal service and a bottle O with a newsagency downstairs and very fast service. The staff are always friendly and very helpful.

I went here for a few beers with my training mates. They had a unique selection of brews on tap, fast service, plenty of seating and decent pool tables and ementies. The price of a schooner here won't break the bank either! We just chilled out in the outside seating area. Definitely going back.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the lack of an onsite secure carpark. They do have a dedicated carpark across the road from the rear of the hotel. It's only a 30m walk, but from what I could tell, the gate remained open 24 hours. The staff were excellent and the room was good for what we paid. We didn't use the on-site resteraunt, so I can't comment on it.
