This is one of my favourite vegan restaurants in the area. I recommend their yucca fries and cashew ‘queso’. I also love the coconut margarita. They offer a unique food & drink menu. There are a lot of seating options both indoors and outdoors. The back patio is mostly closed in with heaters so it stays shaded in summer and warm in the winter, and the front patio is nice for people-watching. This restaurant’s location is wonderful because it is directly next to other businesses including a cat cafe, ice cream shop, other restaurants & bars, and local shops.

We had delicious Pad Thai, Tacos to die for, a fantastic sandwich with sprouts and carrots and a very tasty falafel wrap. The kombucha tasted great and we enjoyed the water and sparkling water self service options for our family of 6. The one major negative part of the experience was the manager who rudely told us that our clearly marked service dogs were not welcome here. When I told her that they are service dogs she rolled her eyes and shrugged like I just offended her deeply, and turned around without a word. That was at 4pm and the restaurant was otherwise empty.

It was hard for me to stop ordering! Everything was very good. Food: 10/10. I tried 4 different things (2 off the happy hour menu) and it was all so good. The salad was my favorite. Service: 10/10 the staff was super outgoing and nice while ordering. Atmosphere: Very clean and vibes are great. You clear your own table, but they wipe it down. Experience: 10/10 Price: 10/10 especially because happy hour is killer! Everything is worth the price. Instagram Quality?: Yes. Great for Instagram pictures! Great vegetarian/vegan options. We really enjoyed the Cobb Salad (great, big portion), Banh Mi tacos, and Korean Stir Fry. The Korean BBQ "wings" were a little overdone (maybe they're supposed to be crispy?). Loved that sparkling water is on tap!! There's outdoor, semi outdoor, and indoor seating options. There's also a small playground for kids.

Loved this place. Good food selection, all healthy options, super cool space. Good portion size. Brussel sprouts were amazing. Kimchi had great flavor also and the rueben was smoky and tasty.

This place is a fully gluten-free, vegan, non dairy kitchen, so I can eat anything here. Wahoo! Score! I have several things from the menu egg sandwich and tacos. They were all good. I also looked at the decor of the restaurant with garden area with grass inside the tables. The wood carved tables and many others art work. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would totally go back to this business. Go try it out for yourself. They also have outdoor seating and bowls for your dog.

First, I love the food. They are creative vegan/vegetarian takes on a variety of global favorites. I most recently had the Korean stir fry. It was great! However, here's something I'm having trouble reconciling with how food service is evolving in recent years (It's not just Viral Root). You order, pay, and TIP at the counter prior to receiving any service. They bring you your food, cool, thank you, but they ask you to bus yourself. That was the extent of the service. The service is fast casual, the food and prices are not. Tip to your comfort level.

This spot has been on my list for a while and it definitely did not disappoint. We had the falafel wrap and the sambar bowl and yucca fries. Delicious! We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the wrap, very filling. Loved the variety on the menu and looking forward to going back to try the "wings", queso, and noodle dishes. I would def say it's going to be our go to for vegan options with in the neighborhood.

This place is cozy . The food is delicious but very spicy. The beet brownie dessert is awesome! Very very very delicious! Excellent vegan alternative.

For $30 I got a burrito bowl (that was hardly filled) a cookie and a CBD canned drink. The atmosphere was okay and the bathrooms were clean. But for the price of "okay" food I probably won't be coming back. Also this is a wait yourself type place where they expect you to clean up after yourself. Which is fine and dandy but defeats the purpose of asking for a tip in my opinion. Employees seemed nice so no problems there. Just felt the price was steep for what you get. Kids meals are $9 and they do have a play place but I went solo and didn't investigate further.

Really cool spot! Vegan & Vegetarian food only. I got the "Reuben sandwich" and it was very good - the sweet potato fries were the best but it's hard to mess them up. I will say - I ordered off the menu this margarita and wasn't aware it was canned and was disappear. It was very spicy and not good at all (not a reflection on Vital Root since they didn't make it).

I stopped here for a meal and a couple beers before a concert at the Oriental Theater. Everything was delicious! The menu isn’t clearly marked with what is suitable for dietary restrictions, but the staff are knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. Definitely recommend this place for high-quality ingredients and many vegan options.

2/2023 The place is nice. It has some really cool decor from used paint buckets on the ceiling nice big wood door entrance (hard to find where to go in), it’s there just pull that big door. Ok, now the food…..everyone was giving the sunflower rissoto a five star, so i got that. This is one of the days….when received you want to give it back! It was my bad for not reading the menu. It has 🍄 mushrooms!!! I’m not a fun of mushrooms but still ate everything in that bowl. For me…it was eating a bunch of sunflower seeds chewing with the puree corn. It was blend and didn’t like it. It’s pricey, I added scrambled eggs (a small scoop $2). I give it a 2 ⭐️ ⭐️. Maybe, I’ll try the other food next time. For vegan this is their place. Nice little Main St.

Wonderful vegetarian restaurant! I’d be honest I had suspicions about this place and it wasn’t my first choice on Tennyson but boy was I completely blown away by the quality of the food!!! Every dish was carefully prepared with so much flavor. You definitely get what you pay for here. The food was phenomenal and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. Totally a vibe. Truly impressed with this place. 10/10 experience. We got the reuben, pad thai, Korean stir fry, bánh mi tacos and the Korean wings. Drinks were also fun and refreshing. Looking forward to checking out their Happy Hour specials.

I took my girlfriend here for some late lunch and the place was very chill and relaxing, the line to order was moving really fast so it didn't take us long at all to get the food on the table. The breakfast falafel was huge and delicious, it was easily 2 portions worth of food so definitely a steal for about $16. The stir fry was a blast, so many different grains and sprouts that I can't mention them all, but the favorite ingredient were the mushrooms, beautiful texture, very flavorful, we loved them. Last but not least the cashew cheese nachos, you can't even tell is vegan, the texture held up for the entire 90 minutes we were there, even after it got cold (naturally) the cheese was delicious. I have to give a big shoutout to their manager Ethan and the chef Grady for the hospitality, it feels so good to eat at a place that welcomes you like if you were home, very polite, very professional, my partner can't wait to go back for another round of nachos. Keep up the good work!

Stopped in for a quick lunch to go. The root vegetable pastrami had a weird taste and the cheese, I assumed was plant based since everything else was, was listed as Swiss. I was unable to eat it after checking the online menu. It was a beautiful spot though and I would definitely go back to try something else, after reading the menu more throughly.

My second time here with a group of 4. Everything on the menu seemed great especially the salads, burgers and fries. Recommend falafel wrap, tacos. The pre made crunchy chick peas weren't our favorite. The place has good vibe + wifi.

Delicious, gluten-free food with lots of options for different flavors. The staff was very helpful and informative on the ingredients, in case your group has food sensitivity. I had the falafel wrap and it was delicious and filling!

Incredible, healthy vegetarian food with copious vegan options. Absolutely delicious, plus the restaurant has a fun and laidback atmosphere. Awesome selection of kombucha, sparkling water, etc - looks like they have beer and wine, too!! Exceeded expectations!

I ordered the Falafel for take out last night with their hemp cookies and wow, it's the best falafel I've had at any restaurant in Denver. The atmosphere, friendliness, presentation, all of it was such a great experience. My first time trying Vital Root too. Next time I'm definitely dining in! ❤️
