We finally made it! During our visit, we checked out the Garden as well as the inside bar. The Garden is open seasonally and sits above the main bar and dining area on a mid-sized patio. The cocktails available in the Garden are like nothing you will find inside - they are more focused on classics that pair nicely with a hot day. While seemingly simple, these classics are very well-made. This space can be rather popular, and you cannot make reservations. If you want to ensure you can make it up for a drink (and vibes), get there early (or be a little patient). We then transitioned to the inside bar to dive into the true Denver D&C menu. Unfortunately, we only had time for one drink before we needed to head off to dinner. However, the Money Tree was everything I needed in a drink at that moment, and I'm still thinking about it over a month later. For first timers, the menu is expansive, organized thematically. Take your time perusing what's available, and if in doubt, talk to one of the bartenders who can help guide you to some drinks that speak to your palate. A pro tip we learned during our visit is that guests staying at the adjoining hotel are able to make reservations for the bar. That might be enough to sway us to consider staying over here in RiNo the next time we find ourselves in Denver.

I am visiting from out of town and was told to visit death & co. It’s first come first serve, we went on a Sunday evening. I am staying at a hotel about 18min Uber ride away. The weather was a little chilly and rainy so I was hoping to get in a get seated quickly. Spent money on an Uber to get to the restaurant and found out the wait time was ridiculous. The wait was over an hour! the hostess made it seem like it was only a 20 minute wait. So we agreed to wait around since the hype of this place was worth the wait. They have a system where they will text you when your table is ready. There is bar seating, tables, and couches. The interior was absolutely beautiful. The staff came off a little cold and straight to the point. I Didn’t feel very welcomed but also they seemed short staffed. There is a Mexican restaurant across the street we got a drink from while we waited. We almost gave up after the hour wait and even ordered food from the Mexican place thinking death and co forgot about us on the wait list. As soon as we were about to give up and Uber back to our hotel across town I got a text after 75 min saying our table was ready. We got a cute spot on one of the couches. Waitress was awful, she took forever to take our order. Simply to get us water took 10-15 min. Then again with the food and drinks. It was SO SLOW!!!!! The drinks and food were pretty darn tasty.! But with the bad staffing management and unfriendly staff with the 75 min wait made this place not worth it. Really disappointed in the experience here. I was hoping for a better one with the high recommendation from locals.

Have been wanting to visit this cocktail bar for a long time and finally made it on a Friday night! You have to manually add yourself to the waitlist. The ambience is classy and cozy….cocktails are great and well balanced. The food was surprisingly tasty (as we did not expect much in the food dept from a cocktail bar) Death and Co stands to its name! Ambience - 4.5/5 Drinks. -5/5 Food - 4.5/5

We went on a whim last night, and had a fantastic experience. The ambiance is upscale, but the vibe is warm and welcoming. The cocktail menu is extensive and creative. We thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the care and preparation that went into each drink. From the friendly hostess who greeted and seated us, to our exceptionally talented and personable bartender, Jordan (welcome to CO!), to Lucas who was also super kind and attentive - we had such a great time. We stayed much longer than intended and look forward to returning.

Death & Co. was the classiest bar I’ve been to in Denver. It has a wonderful 1930’s vibe with a comfortable atmosphere. The bartenders/mixologists definitely know what they are doing and can likely make you a drink that is crafted to your liking. I recommend ordering off the menu. Everything our group had was delicious and I will definitely be back next time I am in Denver! I highly recommend this spot.

Might be one of the best bars ever. Located in The Ramble hotel in Denver. This is definitely a top notch spot. Our bartender Davey and the greeter Annie were both the nicest. The 'Electric City' cocktail was delicious a must try. Also the 'Hurry up and wait' was another solid cocktail. The ambiance was chill. They have upstairs outdoors area and a photo booth. Highly recommended if you are in the Denver area.

This place is an absolute vibe. Their cocktail menu was nuts. They also have a whole other off menu list as well. Our waiter was super knowledgeable and made great recommendations. We will be back. I do know there can be a wait sometimes, so if you're not planning on going in the middle of the day, I would suggest reservations.

Great drinks and the golden milk pudding was delicious! It was a great spot to end our night out. We can't wait to visit again and try some of the other drinks. The Jade Wave (I forgot to get a picture) was really interesting. It's a bit spendy, but the illogical beauty was delicious (and worth it).

What an amazing experience... The drinks were some of, if not, the most creative libations I've ever had and the food was to match! The service was extremely personable and made the experience an absolute joy (We sat upstairs so shout out to the crew working the upstairs bar on 11/3!). Cannot recommend this place enough!

This place was super funky and so much fun! The bar was nice. Cocktails were $16/person, and apps were priced around that. The hosts at the front door were so sweet and kind. The rooftop bar was great to hang out and talk without being overly crowded. It made for a great pre-wedding night hangout for all of us! For those who can't do stair, they do have elevator access to get to the rooftop bar. ✨️

We intended to check out a lot of bars during our month in Denver, but instead we just kept coming back here. Every drink was a winner, the vibes are unbeatable, and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend coming early on a weekday and sitting at the bar—the bartenders are passionate and have great recommendations. They have access to recipes from all Death & Co locations going back to when the first one opened 15 years ago, so whatever you like, they can find it! And if you ask nicely, they’ll write you out the recipe.

Very knowledgeable staff and the food (downstairs) was fantastic! There is an outdoor tropical-themed bar upstairs as well where there was an area sectioned off for a private event but there was still enough seating for everyone else. The bar downstairs was very chic but also casual. Perfect for a work happy hour or nice date night! We did not make reservations and were able to find seats/service.

It’s no secret that this is Denver’s best cocktail bar. So, no surprise that their brunch service is also exceptional. Full coffee bar, cocktails, and tons of options for vegan / veggie folk as well. The vibe is great for reading, working, or catching up in the lounge area. Huge windows with great light in the space, and ample seating options either for the soloist or a big group. Great time as always at D&C, whether it’s an evening or afternoon visit.

If you have a chance to visit this bar: DO IT. It's a little on the expensive side, but it's so so worth it. Bartenders and waitstaff know so much about all the cocktails, and both the fancy drinks and simple standbys are just so good. Definitely make a reservation if you can -- they get super crowded as soon as they open (and the hotel looks super cool, too!). Parking seems to be a little tricky, but even if you have to walk a bit,the whole neighborhood is very cool. Lots of graffiti and cool things to see, so it's very worth the trip.

came here for drinks/apps on saturday evening - we were sat immediately upstairs in the curiosity awaits room with a limited menu. the bartenders were super helpful in advising which of the many delicious sounding cocktails to get. we also got some bread and butter to share. the dried flowers everywhere were beautiful. great vibes. will definitely be back for the full menu.

The flavors are so way different. Very unique. Absolutely love the difference in the choices there is. The crafted cocktails are definitely unique and if you like especially tequila you’re going to love a lot of the choices available. We had to park blocks away. Not really a big fan of the parking in the area we did several circles before we could find some thing so, be aware that the parking is not good in this area. the staff is absolutely amazing. I love my waitress. Sarah was completely attentive, and was very much aware of all guests did not like or like, and suggested accordingly. Hats off to the management, conference the staff and gives them such abilities to actually help make choices. Sarah suggested the cookie dessert. Oh my gosh this was amazing. Probably one of my favorites that I’ve had today. Fantastic choice they had the rooftop, which is the reason why I came blocked off for a private party. So unable to get a picture of the big neon sign that says wish you were here , you wouldn’t think that they would allow it to be blocked off on a weekend night. The artichoke was very different. Love the flavor. There just wasn’t very much of it.

Incredible Cocktail Bar for everyone who wants a well crafted beverage. It isn't easy to get in so make sure you go early, but if you can get seated they have some of the best cocktails I've ever had. The menu changes all the time, and they even sell reasonably priced coffee table style books that discuss their method. Must check out.

Excellent drinks, bartenders, and vibe. We appreciated the categorization of beverages and information on the menu conveying how the beverages are served, which is too often omitted elsewhere. The honest and boozy page was a hit for us. The mashed potatoes were excellent and they were mindful of dietary restrictions.

Lovely ambiance. Nice courteous staff. My favorite part was the hand crafted non-alcoholic cocktails. It was nice for a change to have a menu that catered to those who don’t drink. The rooftop/garden on the second is really welcoming and definitely the right environment for the date I was on. Relaxing and it was the perfect weather to sit outside right now.

One of my favorite bars. Killer design and atmosphere (giving upscale 1920s lounge), phenomenal drinks, and friendly staff. The balance of flavors and attention to quality is truly better than most other craft cocktail bars. They often craft their own drink ingredients--the best cocktail I've ever had was a product of that: the Audrey's Davenport, which featured an in-house toasted oat soda I will never forget. They also have a full food menu that never disappoints. Certainly on the pricier side for a nice bar, but not absurdly so. Lastly, they freely share drink recipes—such an enlightened and confident attitude that I greatly admire, especially as a cocktail hobbyist.

It’s a hotel lobby 😂 supper efficient about their space. The drinks are really good. So many choices. Very creative. The jade wave I ordered has seaweed and it tastes like dashi soup with sweet and salty notes. It’s weirdly good!

This place is like Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory for adults, with the wildest medley of drinks and combinations you could ever dream of. From flaming cocktails that could light up the night sky to a mysterious concoction that had dry ice swirling like a potion from a wizard's cauldron, this bar is a mixologist's playground. The style and atmosphere are straight out of a retro sci-fi film, with neon lights, vintage arcade games, and futuristic furnishings that transport you to another dimension. But what truly sets this bar apart is the bartenders. They're not just mixologists; they're drink wizards! They're super friendly, always up for a chat, and incredibly helpful when it comes to recommending drinks tailored to your taste buds. Sure, the drinks here may be on the expensive side, but they are worth every penny. Each sip is an adventure in itself, and you'll find yourself savoring every moment. If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable night out, look no further than my new favorite bar – it's a liquid dreamland that you won't want to leave!

Solid atmosphere. We were there in the later morning before the main bar was open. Only downside was some of the menu cocktails couldn't be made because they were out of some of the ingredients. The espresso was really a great offset to the pour of armanac that I had.
