Very disappointing. Paid extra for deep tissue and was one of the lightest massages I’ve ever had. She basically rubbed the skin of my legs and arms a few times and completely neglected them. If you are going to offer deep tissue and charge extra for it you need to know how to do it. We were also changed and ready for the massage before 11am but the massage didn’t start until closer to 11:10 so I paid for 15-20 minutes for both of us ($40-50) worth of massage that we didn’t get because they stopped at exactly 12pm. They also charged me $30 extra so Sunday surcharge which didn’t show anywhere on my receipt or at the online payment checkout. They showed me where it was on the website but you can’t expect customers to scan through your website looking for this if you aren’t going to show it at checkout or on the receipt. Lovely people but I paid for a massage that I didn’t get, paid for 60 minutes for 2 of us and got closer to 50 minutes each, and paid $30 extra for a Sunday which didn’t show anywhere during or after the payment process. They weren’t willing to do anything about any of this when I gave this feedback except tell me they would be in touch. Not expecting to hear from them so sharing this here.

Tried the head to toe package and it was amazing! My therapist (Lisa) was very skilled and delivered an amazing massage. Absolutely loved it. The facial was relaxing as well - it came with a mini head massage. Their staff work at both Sakura and Sensu Spa (5 mins away from Sakura) so be sure to check both venues when booking. I look forward to my next appointment!

I had low expectations coming here and even lower when we were showed up a staircase in the building next door to their other studio. The decor is fairly tired. That’s the negatives. For the therapists and the massage experience itself, what an amazing time we had. Such a friendly team we had take care of us and they were very skilled and always checked in to make sure you were ok with the pressure, technique etc. If you are looking at visiting this business compared to the luxury hotel spas in the city, this place has them beat for price and skill of the therapists.

Extremely poor booking systems on the phone and online. Called to make a booking and the person who takes call can’t even effectively confirm the dates and time of a therapist. I have to wait for couple of minutes. It’s quite unorganised and honestly quite poorly managed. I am a regular and to hang around on the phone for so long just to make just ONE BOOKING is almost quite a joke.

Rika is a great therapist. She was going on with the massage and I stopped her to ask if she could do my shoulders again, as she'd really hit some spots! She did it with no worries and now I feel amazing! Will be back.

Although the staff member I initially spoke to was friendly, I was told I was going to be emailed confirmation of my appointment..no email (needed email to pay according to the staff member) I checked junk email to see if it was there etc no email. I rang the next day no answer and left a message for them to confirm my appointment ( second day, no email) this is now the third day and why I need the email is because I'm coming from New Zealand. Very disappointing as this was for my birthday, we were going to spend quite a bit of money, I was trying to book in advance so that everything was easy :(

I did 2.5hrs Perfect Harmony with Hot Stone massage. If i do return next time, i'll go for the same for sure. I dozed off so many times because it was very relaxing. Thank you Honami for your excellent service.

Had a couple's massage Sunday morning 10am. Great and professional staff. Very well priced. We had the 1.5 hour deep tissue massage and they did an excellent job.

I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my spa experience. All of the technicians who worked with me were kind, thoughtful and highly skilled. I would not hesitate to recommend Sakura to anyone who wants the BEST spa experience, and I look forward to visiting again next time I am in Melbourne.

After buying a friend's massage for my close friend and I, we finally organised for a Friday afternoon. The technicians were wonderful and the experience was delightful and totally relaxing. From the foot massage, the body massage and the facial to end the day was long overdue and it was a bit of a shock to walk out into busy Melbourne after zoning out for the few hours while in Sakura!

We had a sakura body wrap and a 30min reflexology session and it was absolutely the best experience for de-stressing and relaxing. The staff were very friendly and respectful of your state of undress. The premises has a lovely atmosphere with soothing music, woven slippers and soft gowns to wear after the shower from the wrap. Could not fault the experience and excellent value for money.

I really enjoyed my Top to Toe package treatment at Sakura Lounge. The hot stone massage was divine and the masseuse had hands of wonders to really put my body to ease and relaxation, dozing off few times. Would really recommend Sakura Lounge for the service, treatment, cleanliness and comfort. Thumbs up!!

If you really want a truly amazing self care and pampering experience you must come to Suja Lounge. Have now tried two different packages this year and OMG...the respect, care and devotion given by the staff to provide the most uplifting and rejuvenational experience

Great massages! My wife had the deep tissue and I had the shiatsu for 90 minutes. We have been on holiday for a couple of weeks and had some very tired legs and this exactly what we needed. The massages were not only relaxing, but very effective in hitting the right areas with some power

I did the Perfect Harmony package. It was much needed for stress relief and kneading all the muscle knots. I felt very relaxed and happy afterwards. Once you go 90 minutes, you can't go back!

This day spa is a quiet little gem hidden away down a laneway in the middle of the CBD. Smelled beautiful as soon as we walked in, and staff were all smiles and courteous. I went in for a one hour pregnancy massage, and the therapist made sure to ask me questions about my preferences before we started the session. It was amazing, exactly what my sore, very pregnant body needed! Bonus points for the heated bed :) Will definitely be back!
