A great bar for lovers of good tasty independent beers. There are always ten tapped beers which will have something to excite a beer enthusiast. If you don't find a tapped beer that suits, then there are hundreds of varieties in the large fridges to enjoy instore. The Hopheads concept of supporting Independent Craft Breweries is magnificent, at Altona, Yarraville and the OG at Point Cook.

Great vibe here. Plenty on tap to try or grab a can from the fridge. Love the emphasis on Australian craft beers. Esp with them promoting Queensland beer brewers this week. Found some newbies to bring home. Live music is always good too.

Is there a better place to spend your weekend than a bar stocked with rare gems of beers... the best selection I have ever seen!!! Also walkable to the beach. Great spot

Wide range of craft beers on tap and in the fridges for you to drink at the bar or take away. Comfortable and well-spaced seating inside and outside the venue. Really good atmosphere, with attentive and knowledgeable staff. You can bring take away food in to have with your drink, and there is a wide range of choices on Pier St, so great to do that of an evening. Would highly recommend a quick one after work or a few on a Friday / Saturday night at Hopheads Altona.

I love the range of craft beers on tap to drink there and also the extensive range with high turnover to take away. BYO takeaway food makes this a great option to get together with friends and the live music is a bonus. Not cheap but a worthwhile treat.

One of the most interesting place in Altona for having a beer 🍺 You can find draft and bottles of all types and varieties🍻 but you can find also Rosé Moscato Sparkling wine 🍷, ciders, whiskeys, cocktails and snacks.

Hop on down to Hopheads. A really nice atmosphere with a wide selection available to suit your taste. The staff were very friendly and helpful, happy to provide suggestions and tasters. A good spot to relax with friends and try a few new drinks.
