Thanks to the Jetpets team for moving our pups from Melbourne to Singapore! Dipkesh was super knowledgeable about all things quarantine, flights and boarding; the Melbourne team checked the dogs in lovingly at Tullamarine and we received regular updates (including photos) on their journey. Jetpets’ local agent in Singapore had all the paperwork in order and delivered the pups safely and on time. The overall experience was fantastic and having professionals look after the dogs made our international move a lot less stressful! Thanks to the Jetpets team!

Used Jetpets to transport my dog and cat from New Zealand to Australia. The whole process was very easy and communication was excellent. Organising the flights was incredibly easy even when I was unsure of exact dates, and the paperwork provided by Jetpets for my completion was a breeze to fill out. The travel itself was so simple on my end, I received multiple progress updates at the various stages of travel and was not only kept in the loop, but given full confidence that my pets were being well cared for. Could not ask for a better service, they made the hard parts simple and went the extra mile at every step of the way.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a good experience transporting our dog. Her flight was canceled in the morning and we only knew because Virgin contacted us at 7am. JetPets website states 24/7 customer care but we couldn’t contact them until after 9am. When we were finally able to contact them we were told they weren’t aware of the canceled flight. We are disappointed with receiving no communication throughout the day with delayed flights and just general updates with how our pet was going, considering we stressed to them throughout the process that we were concerned with our pet travelling as she is even anxious in the car. We felt that JetPets didn’t take the care that we expected and our pet was just one of many pets they’ve transported.

An amazing service and great care given in all phases - from quoting, confirming docs and export paperwork for our two Norwegian Forest cats going MEL-Texas, helping select the right sized crates (PP40 for each of our 7kg lads), and providing the “fit for flight” vet check, overnight boarding, and then updating us as they were loaded into the belly of the Boeing 787 Red Roo. We were allowed to have their collars (with Apple AirTags) safely secured to their cage door - which also allowed us to keep informed of their movements over the 48 hours between drop off on Thursday and our pickup at Qantas freight / US Customs in DFW. Recommend without hesitation!

Good transparent service. Our Nanook was flying from Melbourne to Perth. We could wait in their lounge and Nanook was taken care with love. I was happy with the service 😀 However, Jetpets probably it’s time to find different service provider in Perth. Menzies in Perth who partners with Jetpets was awful. My dog was kept on the cart for over 10min while staff was unloading suitcases even though they MUST take animals straight away to a air conditioning facility. That day was over 30°C and based on aviation regulations dog should not even fly and definitely not being kept so long outside. I have a Samoyed so he was at risk of overheating. When arrived at the pick up point staff was rude, bored and clearly annoyed when I asked where is my dog. They clearly didn’t know. When I heard him barking I buzzed the doorbell and the guy was doing everything to prolong the process. Only when I pushed him he took Nanook outside so we could take him from the crate. Absolutely disgusting service and no care towards animals. People like this guy (work 2.02, at 10pm) should never work with animals. Plus Nanook was not kept in the air conditioning because I heard him barking at their open space outdoor facility.

I was looking for a pet transport company. Then I found Jetpets. This was Ripper first time flying. The company didn't disappoint me with how good service they have. I was worried about my pup since he had been picked up from home. The company kept me update about Ripper till he arrived in my hand (From Melbourne to Perth). I would recommend this company if you want to transport your love one with reliable people who care about your pet as their own. The photos: he is happy in a new city.

I went to JetPets to transport my 3 animals. 2 had minor health issues which I disclosed. Jetpets asked me to provide a letter from their veterinarian verifying that they were healthy enough to fly, which I did. They then declined to fly the two due to their health issues. My interaction with the company over email was professional and polite, which is why I gave the second star rating. Otherwise, I’ve given one star because they declined my two despite having the verification letter from our vet. I am also unhappy that they made a decision about their health without ever seeing them or performing a simple physical exam, which is a basic tenet of vet med. I am happy to report that I went with a different company who flew them and both arrived safe, happy, and in good health.

Fantastic service. Recently transported our dog from Melbourne to NZ. They were great with communication from day one helping us sort all the testing etc that had to be completed for our dog. Everyone at her check ups was lovely and even took time to sit and answer questions from my children about animals they move. Once dropped off we got detailed updates including photos. She arrived happy and healthy! Thank you Jet Pets

JetPets recently transported our cat and dog from Perth to Melbourne. There was an initial misunderstanding about date of travel but after that everything was fantastic. Thorough communication and the couriers at both ends were fantastic. They weren’t the cheapest quote but I am totally happy that I went with them.

I couldn’t thank Sarah more for the help and experience she provided to me and my pets! Out of everyone I had been in contact with Sarah was the clearest and kindest of them all. Through a 3 ish week process she took me through all the steps and had always remained extremely patient. She ensured my pets would feel as comfortable and safe as possible. I highly recommend Jet Pets, especially Sarah for domestic travels!!!

I initially went with Jet Pets as someone I knew used them and had a good experience. The process pre-flight with customer service and at Perth went great, my nominated person dropped my two cats off without any issues. I was very nervous about their flight and was reassured I would receive updates throughout the day about their travels and how they were doing. I didn’t receive any communication from Jet Pets at all, not even when they had arrived in Melbourne. When I got to the collection point, the staff were rushed and very transactional. When they brought my two cats out in their carriers, one was fine but the other was soaking wet with urine (I was expecting accidents, it was a long day for them) and blood throughout his carrier. He was so anxious he had scratched the carrier and ripped 7 of his front claws and had blood over his paws and his fur. I was so heartbroken for him, I can only imagine the stress he went through and to think no one checked on him when he landed upsets me. He has spent the last couple of days feeling very sorry for himself with raw paw pads. I understand some things are out of Jet Pets control but I expected some updates at least to know when I could collect my pets and for them to tidy the carrier covered in blood or to let me know what had occurred. I hope this feedback is given to the relevant departments and processes amended to minimise this in the future.

Catastrophic animal transport experienced by our dog. they don't even adhere to their own contract for the transport of anmials, nor adhere to even basic legal regulations for safe and especially sanitary animal transport... dog flew for 8+ hours in a plastic crate with solely a small cheap bath towel. (Cheap as chips has better quality towels) If only one could give zero stars.

If youre looking for a safe, trustworthy and caring pet transport group; look no further. I actually can not put into words how thankful I am for Jetpets and their service provided. I moved to Melbourne to pursue nursing during COVID in 2021. With COVID still managing to intercept every choice I made, commercial airlines (QANTAS) stopped pet travel on the same flight as the human passenger, and required specific 3rd party pet transport companies to organise the travel. When I found this out I was heart broken beyond belief. Luckily, my cat Penny had a safe space with my mother until I could sort a plan out. From the initial email, to talking to the friendly staff about her, her needs and my concerns (her age of nearly 10 years) and queries (of about a hundred) they were patient, understanding and caring. As a public servant, I didn't realise how much I needed the support through the service myself. Long haul travel, or travel with multiple stints can be daunting let alone for pets. Not only did I get consistent text messages from the beautiful humans escorting her, but photos of her when she was in between travel stints. She was able to stretch her legs, get lots of pats and fuel up for the following journey. Coming from ZNE/Newman WA, to Melbourne is a big trip for anyone let alone a cat. Newman being so rural there was concern that I couldn't find anyone to cater to escorting her over. Jet pets organised within a week to have her picked up, doing all the hard yards of check ins, departures, arrivals, pitstops and everything in between. Jetpets also updated me via text as to her whereabouts in real time. I know this is a late review but I realised after referring 10+ people to their service, that they need the positive feedback directly. Specific shout out to Christy; not only sending me a bunch of photos but a video of Penny whilst on pitstops in Perth. It brought me so much calmness, not to mention she also used feliway before her next trip to help calm the nerves. Christy is a God send and deserves the world. Kindest regards, Ainslie

6 star service at a 3 star price. I could not recommend highly enough. Every single interaction was with a true animal lover. A very easy, no hassle process. Everyone truly understood the precious cargo entrusted to them and had my dog's wellbeing as a priority. Purr-fect service at a reasonable price.

Moving countries is not easy for humans, but for animals it’s a very stressful time. I knew at the beginning from the way my Jet Pets Pet Travel Consultant communicated with me, everything was going to be OK. And it was MORE than OK. We were reunited with our cavoodle Delilah yesterday in the UK (moved from Australia) and you would not know she’s travelled anywhere. She is bright, happy and looks like she’s been on a pampering weekend. We would have no hesitation to use Jet Pets again. Thank you to the wonderful team and especially our consultant Jordi.

Really impressed with the service of Jetpets. We adopted our dog Lola in April and we were worried about our move from NSW to Perth. They took great care of our dog Lola and she arrived safe and sound. She is happy and settled in her new surroundings. Can’t thank them enough.

I just sent my 2 cats to United States with Jetpets. Best money I have ever spent. I got updates at every leg of the trip all paperwork was done for us. My cats arrived happy and rested despite 3 plane trips and 2 days of travel. Thank you Jetpets I am so grateful

A vast difference from the first time we used them 5yrs ago for the same journey (this time in reverse). Firstly, it is stated in the itinerary and in initial discussions that the person receiving and person being picked up from will receive a call the day before to confirm pickup/drop off times and to make sure a drop off time is suitable. We only got a text message 3 days before stating times and not allowing us to confirm if ok or not - on top of this, the texts went to the wrong people and had the pick up information going to the person receiving them. An updated itinerary with the pet microchip numbers was never supplied until I queried whether the microchip numbers sent through in an earlier email had been documented. We never got an update from the lounge like we did last time and just got a very generic message to state the pets had checked in and that they had been dropped off. Very minimal “updates” and nothing personalised about them. Considering we paid more than double than last time with one less pet - it felt like much worse service and certainly not worth the money. 3 x pets last time cost us $800 for a dog and two cats. This time is cost $1650 for one dog and one cat from Melbourne to Perth. Quite outrageous really. If the service felt more smoother, friendlier and informative with updates like it was the first time I would mind as much - but this time around we certainly felt like just another number and it appears reading through reviews we are not alone in this. What a shame the company isn’t as good as it used to be.

Thank you to the Jetpets team for safely looking after our 11yo beagle/pug from Melbourne to Perth. They were communicating with us the whole time and let us know as soon as she arrived safely and even sent photos and a report card! We will use Jetpets again - they have genuine care.

I engaged Jetpets with my 7-year old 55kg Husky x Malamute (see image), Pumba for a trip from Sydney to Manchester. Significantly, I paid more than $8417.90 for this service. I felt assured that he would be well looked after but when Pumba arrived in the UK, I was shocked to find my dog in extreme distress. Scared, whimpering, tail down, a scratch on his nose, our reunion was more of bitter relief. Most surprisingly, his water bowl was bone dry and there was no sign he had had access to water for the 6-hr ground travel journey from London Gatwick. The driver delivering Pumba clearly had no training or experience looking after dogs and ignored clear signs of distress during the trip from London. He did not stop to check on Pumba's welfare or to give him water. The lead and harness (essential for the safety of the dog, particularly large breeds) were missing, and the collar was only found after a search. There was no system to ensure safe unloading, given that no lead, harness or collar were readily available and there was no warning of this possibility. Did Pumba suffer this neglect only from London to Huddersfield, or did he also suffer on other legs of the journey? Pumba slept for days straight and didn’t eat for 5 days. He also whimpered occasionally when I went to pat him. I soon had Pumba checked by a vet and the first thing she noticed was a chipped front left top fang (more than 1/3 of the tooth was missing which meant he would have been in substantial pain). She prescribed painkillers and he stopped whimpering immediately. I asked Jetpets to ask their vet if she had noticed any chipped teeth prior to Pumba’s departure in Sydney and they reported they hadn’t noticed anything. This means the chipped tooth happened during transit which makes sense after seeing the inside of his crate, which had been significantly scratched, worn and torn (see image). The most distressing part of my and Pumba’s ordeal was Jetpets’ response. Rather than try to understand Pumba’s experience and improve their systems and processes, Jetpets simply told me their employees would undergo retraining in ‘customer service’, that Skypets is adding a checklist, which includes ‘water’ for any ground travel. They apportioned blame to their staff and used their employees as scapegoats instead of tackling the systematic issues. For the lead and harness, they offered to compensate me with $AUD150. They also relinquished responsibility for what happened in the UK to their partner, Skypets, rather than owning up to their partner’s actions ultimately being their responsibility too, claiming Skypets want to offer another $AUD150 as a ‘gesture of goodwill’. Since Pumba’s arrival in the UK, I have so far paid $440 in vet consultation fees and medication for Pumba. I soon have to pay another £300 or $AUD 523 to get his tooth extracted. This comes to $963 total. As Jetpets owes my dog a duty of care, I would thus like to request Jetpets cover Pumba’s recovery costs. This is a substantial extra expense I have incurred as a direct result of Jetpets’ negligence. I feel sad that I put Pumba through this and angry about this situation which Jetpets is failing to adequately respond to. I am also available to engage in further discussion if Jetpets wishes to improve their service so that I am confident they are doing everything in their power to ensure incidents like this don’t occur again. I await Jetpets response and hope they can communicate reasonably with me from this point on.

This post is a little overdue, but I wanted to say a big thank you to the Jetpets team for getting my two cats, Chloe and Shamir, to London safe and sound. I dealt with one other transport company before this and ultimately, I didn’t feel comfortable to proceed. I then contacted Jetpets and from the moment of the initial call with Gillian, I knew that my girls would be in safe hands. Pet transportation is such a stressful experience, but Gillian was incredibly knowledgeable, empathetic and personable and really put my mind at ease. The other staff that I subsequently dealt with (Chloe and Emily) were also fantastic and dealt with my plethora of frantic questions very expeditiously. It was such a streamlined experience - every i was dotted and very t was crossed - and reasonably priced, I feel, for the amount of effort that Jetpets has to put in to make sure that everything runs like clockwork. I was so anxious that my cats would be distressed from the experience, but honestly, the moment they came out of their crates they were business as usual and you’d never have guessed that they crossed the world (picture is day of arrival - they were already sleeping peacefully on the couch). Thanks again Jetpets for uniting me with my fur family!
