I played there a while ago and sorry for the late review. I didn't play the team that happens to have their name on the entrance but nevertheless it's a fantastic club. As the name suggests it's the MCC bowls section and it has a magnificent history and yes it's part of the MCC which makes it a very healthy club financially which is very important if you are to be a club that want's to be around for years to come. This is one of two clubs that they have and which I'll be making a review very shortly. This one as I said is very well kept club and everything inside is very much associated with the cricket and the MCG in photos and it's history. Again a club that it would be great to visit just to see the history behind it

Interschool bowls competition was held there friday 7th. Nice place but shame there was no food / canteen available for lunchs.

The greens (ground) are really ordinary and the umpire (short elderly woman) doesn’t inspire people to want to come back or take up bowls as a sport, she is not doing women any favours, which is really disappointing and a shame.

A very special club that provides fabulous ammenities combined with an administration that is harmonious and welcoming. My home away from home.

Beautiful bowling green, with 2 grass greens. As of this writing, the grass surface was one of the best surfaces I've rolled on. The people were warm and welcoming and the clubrooms were comfortable and clean. Well worth a visit, if bowls is your thing!
