I went to 3 Brothersss on Friday with my mother. Their service was amazing & so welcoming and the food was so delicious! We cannot wait to come back, it's definitely worth the 4.5 hour drive for us. I ordered the Punjabi Butter Chicken, the sauce has so much flavour and the chicken was perfect and tender. My mother ordered the Vegetarian Korma which was sweet and creamy. We shared the Vegetarian Platter which definitely was a stand-out, so tasty.

Hands down THE most authentic Indian food in the city! It’s very value-for-money, and a single thali meal is enough to keep you full for the entire day. This restaurant has become my go-to place for Indian cuisine.

Chandini, my girl, thank you so much for the amazing courtesy and mouth watering delicacies you served us. From entree to mains, we thoroughly enjoyed sumptuous lunch dining outside in today's warm winter weather. Guys, if you are fan of North Indian food, you ought to visit this place to get their flavour. Ask them for what you should order and she will guide you through!!

This place is a gem for Indian food. Upon speaking to Chandni at the counter, who was just the most lovely and enthusiastic person, I was recommended their Lamb tawa seekh kebab, chicken karahi, and lamb madras. The chicken and lamb were both wonderfully tender, you can tell the spices are actually whole spices instead of just powder because the remnants of the spices are visibility present in the dish. The flavour of each curry was distinct, and really showcased the ingredients used in the dish. Overall this place is a 10/10, both for service and for food. If you intend to find Indian food or just live nearby, I highly recommend coming here and giving it a go!

the food was so good but not only that the service was also amazing. One of the owners (lady) was so sweet. She recommended us the right amount of food (so that no food goes to waste, but the right amount that we could actually enjoy). I could actually vouch that this was one of the best Indian restaurants i have tried in Melbourne. 1. Food was actually good 2. Service was Best 3. Matched our Indian taste buds (not sweet like usual Indian restaurants, in fact perfect taste) 4. Very good presentation 5. Although we sat outside the heater helped us avoid the cold weather. Overall an amazing night at the restaurant and will be coming back whenever we come back to city for visit.

Extremely recommended! The taste is amazing! The owner was so friendly explaining to us very well what the dishes are and suggesting us what to choose when we were unsure! We were not familiar with Indian cuisine, but we felt at home in this restaurant. We are very keen to try more and we suggest this restaurant to everyone who wish to try great Indian food! They also have the vegetarian plate that is great for vegetarians!

My favourite Indian joint in Melbourne by far had been 3 brothers in South Yarra. I thought this place was making friendly fun of the name, then found out it's the same people, and the same incredible food! Incredible dinner, and amazing service even late night when we were the last 2 there. Great stuff.

Everyone is giving this place a 5 star review for a good reason! Very happy to have discovered this place and we have decided to come back every fortnight. Reasonably priced and top quality Indian, better than what you can get from India! Lassi is great, try Pratha bread, it’s whole meal and taste so good. The lamb in cashew sauce is amazing. Every time is a new surprise! And I love the hospitality.

A great place to have authentic indian food. Very friendly hostess who gave good recommendations to accomodate everyone's different level of spiciness. A wide variety on the menu to satisfy everyone's craving. Had a special request for beverage off the menu and they kindly accomodated to us. A must visit! Also situated very strategically by Queen Victoria Market! Outdoor sitting with a good heating system available.

This place is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne. The hospitality is so warm, the food is absolutely lip smacking. Owner "Chandni" even added a personal touch to my order which is very thoughtful and a sign of how important customer service is to them. Great work guys!

Incredible Indian food. My family of 5 had an incredible dinner on a rainy night. Service was warm and excellent from the get go. Lady boss was so hospitable and patient. One of the brothers (also the chef) came to chat with us too. Amazing range of drinks and unbeatable food. She even gave my mom a birthday card when we mentioned it was her birthday - so sweet! Made our evening and we are already planning our next meal back! Oh, must order the lamb bryani, naan, tandoori chicken, butter chicken and anything lamb based.

An Indian restaurant located right at the entrance of Queen Victoria Market. The food here is quite good with multiple vegetarian and Non-vegetarian options to choose from. While we had different dishes here, the vegetarian starter platter is good, which gives a taste of different starters and is a good choice for two people sharing. We never had any complaints with the food ( except the Roti ) or portion size here. The only downside for this restaurant in my opinion is: since this is an outdoor seating restaurant, it gets a bit chilly during winters to enjoy your meal and it lacks warmers. It would be good to have warmers for the tables especially during winter. Overall nice food, nice location and very cordial and smiling staff who are very friendly.

Google, you’ve done it again - Reviews were spot on - we absolutely loved this place! We had the veggie platter for starters, butter chicken and the vegan korma for mains… all were packed with sensational flavours that left us both full - but wanting more! Bowl-licking-ly good!! And to top it off, all the staff are super friendly!

This place is amazing! Absolutely lovely family owned business with incredibly welcoming and talkative staff. This paired with the food they provide is an unbeatable experience. You can tell how much their food means to them as they take such pride in making every dish as good as possible. Cannot recommend this place enough. Love it!

My friend and I came to dine in this evening and can definitely say we’ve found our regular spot! This place has quality, authentic, and reasonably priced dishes that pair so perfectly with the atmosphere they’ve created. The outdoor seating, the music, and the service was all top notch! Chandini & Krishna who served us were very warm and hospitable. Can definitely say we’ll be bringing friends and family around very soon :)

This is my favourite Indian restaurant! Garlic naan is full of garlics even on the top of that. It is soft and so tasty. I've tried it with chick pea curry. I'm not Indian, but I've been to the restaurant every day for the past few days. Lovely people and these guys should be really proud of their service and food quality! Brilliant job :)

This was by far the best Indian food I have ever had. The flavours were just mind blowing! The chicken was cooked so well it just melted in your mouth. The curry was the perfect thickness and spice. The menu items are priced well. The staff were very friendly, and the manager lady was super super lovely. The restaurant is limited to outdoor seating, but there is plenty of it and there is ample heating! I cannot wait to come back here!! I wish this was in the south east! Thank you so much for such an amazing dinner 😍🙏🏼

This place was about a block from our accommodation and decided to give it a go. Even though it was cold and windy, the lovely staff turned on the heaters. The food came out fast and hot and delicious. We got wonderful advice on dish choices and universally loved all we ordered. Reasonable in price and fantastic service! Recommend the butter chicken and prawn korma and of course the garlic naan is a must!

Perfect place to go before or after doing your shopping at queen vic market! Tried some onion bhaji, garlic naan, lamb biryani and tawa paneer masala (not pictured) and everything was perfect! The lamb was incredibly tender and garlic naan was a must try. Onion bhaji was surprisingly good and the sauce was just a perfect addition to it. The owner was lovely and turns out this is a family owned business (we love that)! There’s plenty of outdoor seating available and heater can always be turned on (perfect for melb winter).

I had an exceptional dining experience at this Indian restaurant! The variety and quality of dishes, including the shrimp korma, butter chicken, and mango/pistachio kulfi, were outstanding. The plain naan was the perfect accompaniment. The customer service was flawless - attentive, friendly, and prompt. The owner, a wonderful lady, added a personal touch with her warm and friendly demeanor. The restaurant's location was convenient, making it an even better choice. I highly recommend everyone to give this place a try; it truly deserves an A+ rating!

The search continues for good Indian. This place was a let down. Just bland and overly salted. Samosa was just a mushy mess, mashed potato and spices, very dense and too salty. The cheese naan was an undercooked doughy mess. Every dish tasted the same. I was unfortunately not really impressed. Value was just okay, I can’t really approve the value if it wasn’t eaten though. They also forgot the desert.

We did not plan to go here, just looking around for a nearby restaurant and see a good review for 3 brothersss, the owner is so so sooo lovely, we just trust & let her order our food. We actually already eat and looking for some snack, but turns out we eat quite much, because it is that good!! promise u it’s worth every penny, finger licking. Amazing food amazing people, we will definitely go back again if we’re in Melbourne. 10 out of 10. Note : thank you Chandini for the “special dessert” ❤️

Amazingsss little restaurant so central & accessible! We had the non-veg Platter, lamb rogan Josh & chicken korma. Coconut rice & saffron rice to keep it interesting. My goodnesss, so vibrantly flavourful & fresh, excellent portions & delicate flavours. It was almost like they had just gone to the market & got their produce - so fresh it infringes on a copyright for famous chain! Honestly, go & have dinner or lunch here. The hostess was so friendly & bubbly, the brothers are excellent cooks too, with everything being cooked fresh, it makes it worth the wait. We'll be back & I'll bring the parents - and I'm not even a local!

This was my first time eating Indian food and this restaurant left me with a lot of good impressions, from the food to the service attitude. Regarding the food, it can only be described as excellent. Soft, succulent chicken (butter chicken), highly recommended for those who are eating Indian food for the first time, order this dish. The Beef Kahhi dish is also very delicious. In general, I ate everything. Although the food took a while to make, it was worth the wait. Besides the food, I really loved the way they served me at the restaurant, very cheerful and warm. I will come back here many more times.

A Google search from Brisbane had my youngest and I sold on this place after my partner choose Indian for what she wanted while staying in Melbourne . The choice was excellent the chili mushrooms offered a lovely crisp batter and chilli sauce. We enjoyed our mushroom that much our hating eldest even had to try and said it's good . That's a first Staff are warm and friendly , interactive with our boys and make us wish they were in Brisbane as we would be regulars

Best Indian we have had! We had dinner here for our anniversary, the food was amazing, I made the last minute decision to order a garlic naan and I am so glad I did! The garlic naan is AMAZING. The lovely lady that serves here is also very accomodating, she made us feel so welcome. The pricing was great also for us as we couldn’t decide and had to order so much! So many tasty options we will definitely be back to try some more next time we visit Melbourne!

Food was tasty, hot, and beautiful. I ordered the butter chicken and they used chicken thighs (so juicy!) that they just grilled. It added an unexpected but lovely smokiness. It was a little sweeter and less rich than I was expecting but still very tasty. I also had the garlic naan which was very garlicky and fantastic with the butter chicken.

“MUST VISIT” It’s one of the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne Delicious food! Fast and friendly service. The owner is really friendly and provided quick service. Got the butter chicken, chicken 65 and butter naan. Food was fresh and delicious. The staff is really friendly and super-helpful. Highly recommend getting the butter chicken with the butter naan. A fantastic combo!!!. Other restaurants have very oily and heavy food that make you uneasy after consuming, but 3 Brothersss has very authentic and tasty food that is like home made food and does not contain any extra masala and oil and every curry has unique taste. MY FAVORITE ARE CHILLI MUSHROOMS (spicy), Chicken 65 , chole batura . Methi malai Matar mushroom.

This is a somewhat new restaurant in the queen Victoria market. It was open one year ago but remained closed most of the time due to the pandemic. The owners are super proud of what they have here and you can see and feel how they put special care in everything. This is authentic Indian food, with a home-made touch that will make you feel like eating at a friend's house. For me the highlights were the chicken Malai tikka and the Madras curry

One of the best Indian restaurants in terms of food and service and the way they deliver food. How beautifully they spread smile in such testing time (lockdown) with delicious and yumilicious food. We’re forever returning customers and surely going to recommend our friends and family. All veg options are good but my favourite one is sweet and spicy cauliflower>> the best dish ever. Must recommended!!

My friend and I had dinner on the 31st night, and the food was pretty good. I personally loved the garlic butter naan 😍 Despite the delicious food, the waiting time was so long. We ordered at 9 pm and got our order after 45 - 50 mins 😭😭. Unfortunately, the food wasn't hot, as they mentioned it's freshly prepared. The issue is the management seems to prioritize delivery partners and take-away orders more than dine-in.
