I saw Dr. Lucinda Hogan this morning for a skin check and am very glad I did! It was a very thorough appointment, with a lot of information provided to me about different types of skin cancers and what to keep an eye out for. Dr Hogan was very warm and took the time to run me through what she was doing at each point of the consultation - very lovely lady and would recommend her to anyone 😊

I particularly recommend Dr Lucinda who removed an unsightly black mole from my nose with such skill that I have no disformity, no need for a skin graft and no nasty mole. She was compassionate, thorough and highly skilled.

Very thorough and I really appreciated that the doctor took the time to explain the risks with various skin types and then where my skin type fits into the risks. It was insightful and I feel really relieved to know that the risk for me is quite low.

My son noticed an irregular shape of dark skin patch on his knee so we visited Mole Check Clinic for a check up. Dr Sasa saw us right away , we didn't have to wait as at a usual clinic. Upon looking the patch, Dr Sasa confirmed that was definitely not skin cancer, he then explained in a photo different types of skin cancers , how they look and develop. It was a quick session, we meant to pay 120$ for a standard session , but Dr Sasa made a discount for us , only paying 30$ " because it was quick and he's a kid" . We found that is really kind of him and we're very thankful about that. The receptionist , we didn't get her name, was very nice and welcoming . Our overall experience was great.

I’m pregnant and had some new skin tags and mole like things appear on my skin. Dr Lucinda checked my skin and explained the skin changes that can happen in pregnancy. She was very considerate and quickly put my mind at ease. Happy and relieved.

Staff were amazing. The ladies at reception had done research on which private health insurers provided cover and would allow you to also claim with medicare. Really thoughtful. The doctor was very thorough. Was in and out on time. Great experience.

I highly recommend Mole Check St Kilda Road!!! Dr Saied is an excellent doctor and his team are very friendly and professional. I have been using the clinic for the past 5 years.

5 x big crosses from this former almost-new-patient: (1) first appointment rescheduled as Dr F was sick (2) second appointment, lift did not work due to daylight saving "confusion”…but no-one thought to put up a sign (3) when I phoned to ask re lift, their phone did not answer (even though two receptionists were there) (4) Dr F was over an hour late before I gave up (5) but no-one thought to call in advance to advise she was running late! Would I recommend? No, not with such low standards of professionalism for both processes and doctors.

I had a great experience with Dr Sasa when having a routine mole check. He thoroughly checked my moles and answered all questions I had and provided me with further education on self checking at home and sun safety. I felt very comfortable the entire time. The provision of a gown to wear during your check is a great addition to make you feel more comfortable and not something I’ve been offered at other mole check clinics. There is also paid parking at the St Kilda Road location which was very convenient.

Just had my annual skin checkup at the Mole Check Clinic, and it was another good one! Dr Lucinda Hogan was absolutely fantastic. She asked if I had any concerns and gave me direct feedback. She likes to take the preventative measure path, and that suits me. A big shout out to the team for their care and professionalism.

I have been to this clinic three times and cannot recommend Dr Lucinda enough. She is very caring and friendly as well as very professional. I had to get a mole removed and the surgery went extremely well. The appointment booking process is straightforward and the receptionist has always been nice and welcoming as well.

Dr Lucinda was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, understanding of my concerns and did an outstanding job of putting my mind at ease during my recent full body skin check. At a follow up cryotherapy appointment she was equally wonderful to deal with, taking the time to explain the ins and out of the procedure (from which I've had better than predicted results). I won't hesitate to book in with her again for my annual skin check next year.

Dr Saeid Bahrami had the most impressive manner I have experienced in a long time in the health sector. Not only is his demeanour kind and gentle, he demonstrated patience and diligence in his examination at the same time. He fully briefed me in simple terms of what his intentions were prior to examination and carried that out accordingly. Dr Bahrami shared his knowledge and answered all of my questions in a way that was easy for me to understand without any judgement or irritation. I left feeling confident that the service I was looking for had been fully met. The female that checked me in and out at reception also showed professionalism and friendliness in a manner well balanced. I would recommend this clinic to anyone interested in mole checks.

If I could give zero I would. Never have I been so poorly treated by a receptionist in my life let alone a medical one specialising in a something so sensitive as skin cancer. I don’t have my Medicare number due to my wallet and phone being stolen so explained if she contacts them they will give the number to her. She called them and was not even on hold a minute to turn around and tell me to do it myself, I explained I can’t process my own rebates. She then told me she’s too busy to email or call them and she can’t change her whole working day for me. I understand being busy, but I also understand you can’t tell patients you’re too busy to help them. That’s literally part of the job. I was told it’s my job to have my Medicare card. I left there crying not getting my screening done purely on the basis of how poorly the service and how rudely I was spoken to. Im 26 years old and I have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment with a different practice on a time sensitive manner having had melanoma previously and a high pre disposition of getting it again. I’d recommend avoiding at all costs.

I visited the clinic today to do a mole check and was seen by Dr Saeid Bahrami. He was kind, understanding and I did a little internal cheer each time he said “benign”, which was a lot of times. He has the ability to calm the room and I felt supported and cared for. I would highly recommend him and a specialist as I felt safe and left feeling knowledgeable about what to look out for and how to self manage. 10/10 recommend.

I’ve been going here annually for about 4 years and it’s always good. Different doctor each time and this year Dr Fernando was the best!! She explained everything so well, showing me the comparisons from year to year of the spots that were disappearing. I knew some of it but she did it better than anyone. If you’re a first timer, try and book in with her. Also recommend getting the full body photographs on your first time, it is great to have a reference point for new and existing spots.

Very convenient and informative. Book my appointment online, also filled out the patient form online. No more form filling when I arrive. Doctor Sasa was very helpful with his explanation and recommendations. The reception was also very friendly and warm. My rebate was processed on the spot. Highly recommended.

Great experience. The doctor Saeid was great. The receptionist was very helpful rescheduling me when I was late. The only thing I would advise it plan to get there 10/15 minutes earlier than your appointment as there is no parking and it’s a busy tram road to circle back on if you don’t find a spot quickly. I ended up having to park a 7 minute walk away.

Dr Bahrami was very thorough and explained everything really well. I would recommend him and we will be back for our annual checks. The receptionist was lovely and very helpful, even after we had left and forgotten to grab a medical certificate, which she emailed through. Parking was really easy in the carpark on site with an adjoining door to the building, 2 hour parking. It isn't a huge carpark but we easily got a spot.
