I've never had the need to visit a Physiotherapist before, but a recent lower back injury left me pretty much immobile. I searched for a Physio in the local Eltham area selected Preeminent Physio based on solid reviews. I had not tried dry needling before, and was a little hesitent, but the results were remarkable! My back pain was alleviated the next day after each visit. Chong is very understanding and easy to get a long with, and best of all he doesn't string you along with unending consultations like most physiotherapists.

I would highly recommend Mr Chong Yao to my friends and family. I experienced a sudden episode of BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo) and was successfully treated by Mr Chong with one visit. A follow-up visit confirmed that treatment was successful. I found Mr Chong very professional in his manner and treatment, he explained my condition and proceeded gently throughout his treatment. He was punctual, engaging and easy to talk to, and his reception staff were so friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and car parking was accessible from Bolton Street. I am a very happy, vertigo-free client and will come back should I have any physio-related problems in the future.

I get to know Chong from a friend. I had shoulder and fingers arthritis pain. He did 4 times massage and needles. Also some exercise for my fingers. Now l feel much better. Highly recommended.

I have been treated at Preeminent Physio for a couple of ailments - shoulder and recurrent sports-related calf injuries, and I cannot speak highly enough about how I have been looked after. As well as having a good bedside manner, Chong is clearly an expert - he takes a (literal) hands-on approach to finding and diagnosing issues, and uses a variety of techniques (massage, dry needling, exercises) to treat the problems. Chong is so amazing! I went to visit him one week ago with horrible neck and shoulder pain that I’d had for a month and been to numerous osteos and physios and couldn’t get any relief. After one treatment I noticed a significant difference and felt like my pain was almost completely gone. He is very thorough and I love that he treats with dry needles, couldn’t recommend enough!
