People matter! It's not only that the food is good but the family running this business are so accommodating, friendly and loving! First time we went, we just had coffee and decided to be back for breakki and we were there for our brunch today. Chunchin (hope not spelling wrong!) and her family make sure no customer is left just with the menu but with warmth and felt welcomed. Absolutely 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A winning business with friendly staff. Their cakes are delish and the lady there told me their bakery goods are the same as the ones served in Qantas First Class. I have to say their taste in music is excellent, too. And reading all the glowing reviews of their burgers, I am probably going to end up sampling their famous burger! I look forward to coming here, positive vibes.

I gotta say, this was such a lovely experience. A lovely area full of peace and it gives out this vibe that you're in Paris. The day I went with friends it was a bit gloomy but we stopped for some wonderfully seasoned chips and some mouth watering drinks all under a large umbrella set above us by the restaurant so we don't get caught to the rain. Definitely would recommend the mixed berry drink. Loved it!

Love their beer battered onion rings, ultra crunch gems and burgers! Warm spring Sunday brunch, lots of street parking available. May need to wait awhile for food or seats when crowded. Will try hot dog with hot drink next round.

What a gem! A great fusion joint with excellent customer service. We ordered Classic Cheese: if a burger join can get a classic burger right, then that’s a good starting point. Hamilton’s definitely nailed it!! Popeye’s Chicken: very juicy, filling, and flavourful. Piccolo’s Loaded chips: OH MY GOD, this is the best chips ever created. Japanese mayo, roasted seaweed, and sesame are a great combo with fresh chips. Please try these chips!! I didn’t want fish taste so I didn’t get the other loaded option but I’m sure that’s great too!! And a matcha latte and a smoothie. The matcha was great, but the smoothie was too sweet for my taste. Only con is that the wait time was quite long, possibly 20 min. The wait is totally worth it, especially if it’s a nice and sunny day where you can sit outside. I hope they expand with more staff in the future!

This place has become my only go to for burgers! The owners are really friendly and their burgers have never dissapointed me, always delicious and juicy. Their chips are always crisp and fluffy. Plus, to top it all, they serve fantastic coffee and smoothies. If you're a fan for delicious food and coffee, and want to support local, please do visit this place!

This was a tough one but what got this place 4 stars was their loaded fries, for the price it's quite small as well as the cheese topping the chips, it was cold... the chips were cold.. we got take away so from time we ate the meal it would have been less then 5 mins from the oven... this was a big let down. Now the burger! This was great! The size and the fillings was upto scratch I would place it in my top 5. The staff are great and I'm sure the rest of their menu is great. Thank you for having such a great burger shop in Melbourne. Keep it up!

We just had succulent beef burger and savory fried chicken (yet it’s tender!) burger. The crispy gems and onion rings went so well for us too!!! There were queues on and off and many are their regulars! Extremely thankful to the friendly couple for serving us wholeheartedly with real decent food and drinks!!!

We recently discovered Hamiltons, a local gem located at Mont Albert shops serving high quality burgers and coffees. We ordered: - Classic cheese 🧀🥩 - Popeye’s fried chicken burger 🍗 The classic cheese burger was on point, with a perfectly cooked quality wagyu beef patty and melted cheese. The pickles mustard and tomato sauce flavours were well balanced and the brioche bun was soft and fluffy, making every bite satisfying! 💯 Likewise, the Popeye’s fried chicken burger had a succulent piece of fried chicken and was perfectly seasoned. Together with the soft brioche bun, lettuce and sauce it made for a perfect combination of textures and flavours. ✅✅✅ The atmosphere at Hamilton’s is relaxed, with casual outdoor seating for a perfect lunch on a sunny day. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. 😊 ⭐️Our rating: 8.5/10

After some years had passed, I randomly stumbled upon a newly opened place called Hamilton's Coffee.Burgers.Fried Chicken and decided to give it a try. Tucked away at the end of Hamilton street, Hamilton's Coffee Burgers stands out as a cozy and intimate spot. It lacks indoor seating, which may have been present in the past, and its outdoor area is not exclusively dedicated to the establishment. Nonetheless, the passionate couple behind Hamilton's manages the place with enthusiasm. As I perused the menu, I noticed a carefully curated selection of burgers, each creatively named. In a time when many establishments prioritize elaborate garnishes and excessive combinations of different infusions, flavoured oils, etc., Hamilton's stays true to the quality and simplicity, offering unpretentious and straightforward options. When my order arrived, I was immediately struck by the elegance of the burgers. The buns were fresh and soft, beautifully embracing the juicy Angus beef patty in my burger. Cooked to perfection, the patty oozed with flavor, satisfying my craving for a hearty and succulent burger. My partner opted for the Cajun Spiced chicken burger, which proved to be a delightful choice as well. Visited this place for the first time since they changed from JD's Burger. Still serving up good burgers as before. The Goku Secret Fusion is great and the beef patty is cooked perfectly medium and still juicy. We also had the Truffle and Bacon Chips which is flavourful and very crispy.

Walked in thinking it was a normal burger restaurant, came out knowing that it’s up there with some of the best burgers I have eaten. Had the Oh Gawd It Burns and it was delicious! Not too spicy eventhough the name of the burger was hyping it up. After your first bite you’ll start to see juice flowing out from the perfectly cooked angus beef patty. No pictures because I demolished it after taking the first bite…. Overall fast and good service and absolutely smashing food. Will be a repeat customer for sure! :)

Very impressive 5 star local council food safety ratings for 3 consecutive years. This is the highest ratings ever did I came across. Food is delicious especially their home made meatball roll and hot dog. Highly recommended will definitely be back for more.

Phenomenal place to get a good quality burger and a nice coffee. The owners are such nice people and go along with whatever weird selection of drinks I’d try like a dirty turmeric latte or something. Their Rama burger and spicy burgers are 10/10. Best burger place I’ve been to.

Juicy hamburgers with chips! The location is good, just 7 minuets from Union station on foot. It’s always busy from the morning with good coffee and juicy hamburgers during lunch time. My favorite one is a burger with jalapeño. DO NOT FORGET to ORDER CHIPS!! I love the flavor and it is addictive. They have other menus such as Meat Ball, Hot dog, pastry and so on. The staffs are friendly to anyone. The locals love this shop.

I’ve been trying out burgers since I got here in Melbourne, 4 years ago. The best one, so far and finally ☺️. These guys nail on every detail making the whole experience wonderful. Forget the soled patties around, here you will find a juicy patty contrasting with each one of the other fresh ingredients and stand out sauces. And the ambience music by the train station? Magic seasoning✨❤️

I mean... I don't lie when I say this. There is not a better Burger place in Melbourne. It is unbelievable just how consistent and reliable these are. Phenomenal service and not a mediocre thing on the menu. EVERYTHING is a 10/10

My co-worker and I grabbed some lunch from Hamilton's and the food was so delicious I had to call them and give my compliments! I had the Vegeta burger which was one of the tastiest vegetarian burger I've had - not greasy at all, the patty was crispy, really well put together. My co-worker has a chicken burger and said it was delicious. The chips were perfectly seasoned, not greasy, crispy. Our coffees were great. Will definitely go their again!

This is a regular Saturday hang-out for brunch. The family are so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast brioche, Hamilton's breakfast (burger) and coffee are fabulous, with a choice selection of baked goods! Favoured by regulars, I've continued to support this cafe through COVID and the disruption of railway works right next door. Mont Albert is a lovely little village and I love coming to Hamilton's. Love this place! Where to start.... The burgers are the best I have had in a long time, every detail is perfection and you can tell a lot of effort, love and passion goes into the food and business overall. Taste, presentation, quality, I can't fault anything. Coffee is also great! The team at Hamiliton's are lovely and really know how to treat customers. Atmosphere also is unique and special, lovely jazz music softly plays, it's a great little spot to sit outside on a sunny day. We've even been able to enjoy watching the steam trains roll past on special occasions. Overall this is a great little spot in Mont Albert that we enjoy returning to time and time again.

Me and my partner have been so spoiled by Hamilton's coffee, burger and chips. Oh ya and their fried chicken is soooo good! They really know how to perfect their food, and the quality of their food is top-notch. We keep going back to them because now we can't find any better one than theirs.

Excellent coffee and yummy treats, esp the Portugese tarts and tea cakes which the kids love. Burgers are bursting with flavour, chicken is tender and juicy and chips are crunchy and tasty. Highly recommend!!! A family favourite for us. Owners Choochin and Edwin are delightful and friendly. Excellent customer service and very efficient for take away orders.

Today was the first time I went to this cafe and the staff were just so lovely and welcoming and to top it off, the soy latte I had was amazing! Sometimes with a milk alternative, it can be a gamble but it truly was a great coffee. Cinnamon scroll was delicious as well. Will return 👍 highly recommend this cafe

Absolutely incredible burgers! The 100% Angus patty is cooked to mouth-watering perfection, along with a tantalising sauce and fresh cheese, lettuce and onions, all encased in a sweet and light brioche bun. The potato gems with their dusting of spices is a highly recommended accompaniment. Also the best coffee, cakes and service in Mont Albert! Can't rate more highly!
