I love this store! They have basically everything under one roof. I brought my mum there to get some fabrics. While she was deciding on what she wanted I stepped away for a moment to look at something else. To my surprise when I came back there was a younger girl helping my mum, she doesn’t have very good English but this girl did her best to try and understand. She was very patient as my mum tried to explain what she wanted and this girl (I think her name was Reeham?) did her best to guide her through the fabric selection and find what she wanted. I am so pleased with the customer service we were provided. Its refreshing to see that level of patience and understanding from the workers.

Wasted over 30 minutes at the front counter due to inadequate training from Zac (Manager) to his work colleagues, also incorrect information passed onto me. Attempted to purchase two products to the value of $150, identical pricing to that of Kmart for those two items. I asked the lady at the front counter if they would beat Kmart’s price which was acknowledged, in order to get this, they would be required to contact a Kmart within 30KM to ensure they had stock available. Two ladies were attempting to get through to multiple Kmart stores for over 25 minutes without any luck, I requested to speak with a manager which he was reluctant in doing. It took many requests for him to actually come out of his comfortable office! When he eventually came to the front counter, he informed me their policy is that they only price beat if the competitor’s product is cheaper, not if its identical. This is conflicting with the website as it’s states “10% PRICE BEAT GURANTEE”, then in their conditions it also states “Spotlight will beat a competitor’s advertised price for an identical branded and stocked product subject to the following conditions”. It simply states they will beat any of their competitors. Zac was not helpful, could not answer questions clearly and was obviously not comfortable with confrontation hence why he tried to handball that to the young ladies at front counter. End result is that I was forced to pay the advertised price and they did not stand by their “10% PRICE BEAT GURANTEE”.

Huge shout out to Helen who helped my daughter and I with sheets and doona requirements today. The ladies at the front counter were awesome too!! Thankyou

Staff tired to be helpful but had no idea of Stock and kept telling me, yes we have it, it’s on the system. When I’m fact they didn’t have any.

In relation to the party section, they are expensive. Even with a 20-30% sale and VIP discount they are more expensive that other party shops in the area. Very disappointed. Will not purchase hellium Balloons from here again.

Great prices and much wider range compared to other Spotlight locations. Only downside is that service is a little slower being such a large store.

constantly looks rundown. flashing lights. half stocked shelves. never have the stuff you want. just go to Essendon store.. honestly, its worth the drive. It doesn't look like they restock anything- like they are waiting to shutdown. staff- some are always helpful and some ... are not

Plenty parking. Navigation in shop a bit challenging with few stores personnel to assist. Quick click and collect service. Highly recommend

This is my happy place. Everytime I have a creative inspiration, I go to Spotlight and find what I need. Staff are reasonably friendly. Today a staff member even oferred to help me get my heavy items to the front counter (francheville modular cubes). Too good 😍

I don’t know if it’s just me but every-time I go to Roxburgh park spotlight I always get rude customer service from the workers. I’ve left the store multiple times without buying anything because of the poor quality service they give me.

Mixed experience with good service at the entrance and very poor customer service by the ladies managing the back of the store around the blinds section. We waited 15 minutes to pay but they did not attend us. When asked about a product, I was told by the lady to ask someone else as that product was not her speciality but 10.minutes later I saw the same lady taking another customer to the same section and explaining about the same product.

Nice place to buy costumes. It has so many costumes choices for adults too. I really loved the mandalorian and batman costume. It also has a very big section for arts and crafts. Nice place to buy gifts such as cookwares and decorating items.

5 Stars to the lovely Alex who went above and beyond to help me with material selection (as needed a particular colour)and advice. Her customer service with a smile was exceptional. I definitely will make Roxburgh Park Spotlight my store of choice in future. Not to mention the great selection of materials and other stock in this store.

Starting with the staff working there.. they r so so helpful and soft spoken. Secondly, this place has amazing bargains on the top of it the quality is so good. I love going here especially for bedsheets and quilt cover sets. This place never disappoints.

Messiest spotlight store ive ever been to. Certain people think they are more important than the rest of us and results in endless pushing in and entitlement. 1 young clerk on the registers a week before Xmas is a genius idea is it not? I will travel far and wide to avoid going to this store.

This store was absolutely filthy. Stock all over the floors and displays set up I couldn’t even get a single pram down the aisles.

It used to be cheaper to buy material and make your own clothes, not anymore. Everything has the price blacked out because of price increases. Picked up some material that was originally $21 per metre and when I asked the new price it had gone up to $33. Over a 50% increase. What a joke.

Love this place . There has only been the odd occasion that they haven't got what I need but new stock is always back in pretty soon.

Went there for wool but not much brown variety. Only had 2 types of gold chain and the wall art was at the counter where you checkout which was hard to look at when you have to pay.

customer service is awful, they need to introduce self checkout or something, the front of the store is too busy and paying customers have to wait for a long time. What kind of a business model is that, making paying customers wait??? It doesn't help when the staff have an attitude of 'its not my fathers business' and drag their heels around. Hopefully someone is reading these comments and doing something about it. I go in once in a blue moon and things never change.

Went to buy curtains kept trying to ask for help and no one wants to help u. Each person pushes you to another didn’t know what was going on I ended up soending 130 and got the wrong curtains !!!! So disappointed they where marked down so can’t even return if at least someone helped it would have been different. Very unprofessional staff. Tried to ask one to help me with plans she couldn’t be bothered at all mumbled and walked away! Next time I’ll stick to Kmart at least u get help there !!!

I am giving 5 star because of the good service from staff name Olivia, i wish I had the option to give 0 star for another staff who didn't even listened or checked about return policy for clearance items, I had to replace the sofa cover because it was too short, nothing was mentioned on receipt or anywhere. After that arrogant staff, I went to counter and speak to Olivia, who did the right thing and asked the store manager and refunded for my returned item.

Only good thing was received a $5 voucher to use on my purchase (bought storage containers for kitchen). Was going to buy quilt cover but no pricing on individual items. Had to take to register to scan or to the in store scanning point to check price & to see how much it was discounted. Couldn't be f*#&ed. Paid for items and left.
