Admission
was
$5
for
one
adult.
Parking
was
free.
I
came
on
a
Sunday
at
about
9
am
for
my
first
visit.
It
was
really
lovely.
I
visited
the
farmer's
market
afterwards.
The
grounds
include
large
and
small
ponds,
limestone
solution
holes,
huge
banyans,
a
wide
variety
of
well-established
plants,
an
old
cottage,
a
splash
park
and
well-developed
playground
for
kids,
a
touch
garden
for
kids,
goats,
rabbits,
koi,
swans,
turtles,
and
more.
It
was
very
peaceful
in
the
morning
and
very
comfortable
temperature
at
this
time
of
year.
One
of
the
videos
I
posted
shows
a
very
tall
banyan
tree
with
a
large
well-established
bee
colony
wedged
high
up
in
its
trunk
system.
Clearly
a
lot
of
care
and
consideration
goes
into
preserving
this
place.
I
will
be
coming
back!
One
of
my
photos
includes
membership
prices
if
you
are
interested
in
becoming
a
member
too.
There
is
also
a
student
discount
membership.
Just
$30
per
year
for
year-round
admission.
I'd
also
add,
for
the
sake
of
any
newcomers
reading
this:
the
Pinecrest
Gardens
share
a
(very
beautiful
and
shady)
parking
lot
with
the
Pinecrest
Library
and
Community
Center.
Don't
forget
to
check
those
out.
All
three
buildings/organizations
host
a
variety
of
events,
programs,
and
activities
for
free
or
at
low
cost.
The
Pinecrest
community
center
also
contains
a
well-stocked,
modern,
and
clean
small
gym.
EVERYONE
I
encountered
was
friendly
and
helpful.
