New owners can sometimes mean trouble - not in this case! I love the new "Adventure Tour". The small group (three passengers) meant more personal attention, which meant we could ask and learn about things we were interested in. The pilot/skipper was able to share a lot of knowledge about the history of the marsh. He knew of awesome places to stop and spot birds. If you're a photographer, you'll be in heaven. I was worried about sea / motion sickness on the smaller duck boat; verses the pontoon boat, it was not a problem whatsoever. It also allowed us to start, stop, and travel quickly - which was great for a breeze on a warm day...and we could get into tighter, shallower places. The new owners are refreshing, kind, and seemed to be interested in making our time with them on the boat a great one. And so they did. Thank you, I will return.

Back in business after covid with new owners. Got to meet them both. Seemed like really nice folks. We took the boat tour in the AM and got to see a ton of pelicans, the eagles, a beaver, cormorants and a lot of other beautiful wildlife while getting some really interesting history about the swamp from our guide Tanner. They are in the process of getting a pontoon boat which should make for some nice group tours.

Beautiful 2 hour Marsh tour! We saw so many birds including quite a few eagles. There was plenty of room,not one mosquito(I swear!),and our tour guide really knew his stuff. We were able to get some great photos! Be sure to stop at the Horicon Marsh Visitor's Center/Explorium across town too! So much to see and explore!

Fun day kayaking with my daughter on the Horicon Marsh yesterday. Very impressed with the proprietors at Blue Heron Landing. Wonderful people who bend over backwards to make sure everything goes smoothly and everybody has a good time. We rented kayaks and paddles for our 3-hour adventure. All equipment was in excellent shape. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The marsh was picture perfect on a lovely fall day. We will be returning again next year.

What a great place!! The pontoon boat tour was very informative and we saw quite a few different birds on the marsh! The little shop and bar/eating area was very welcoming as are the owners! Will definitely be back next summer to do some kayaking!

Took the boat tour of the marsh. The owner was very knowledgeable about the birds and the history of the marsh, which was really interesting. There's a little gift shop and bar inside and a place to eat a picnic lunch. Husband and wife owners put a lot of love in ownership, you can tell! Loved it!
