This is easily one of the best things I've had in Appleton and the price was spot on. I'll be back. @dietproof

Great restaurant, omg the food is spectacular. I got a pita with the beef lamb meat and it was so delicious. I also got the bowl of rice with the veggies and a chicken kebab. The vegetables were fresh and I mixed in some feta cheese that made the meal mouth watering good. Incredible customer service and it only took about 5 minutes total. You really can't get a better deal than this. For my entire meal I spent $25, definitely worth every penny. Oh I almost forgot that I also got the seasoned fries. It's rare that you can get french fries that don't need catch-up or anything dipping sauce.

Small place tucked away in a small alley off of college Avenue but worth the walk. The portions are huge and reasonably priced. I did the small gyro and it was more than enough food...definitely did not need the fries. The service was fast and friendly. Got a craving for an amazing gyro in the fox valley this is the place to go!

Phenomenal amount of food for the prices! Got the smallest gyro and Greek salad thinking they would pair well together over drinks at a different bar. So much more food than I anticipated, but what a "problem" to have! My friend ordered the baklava and said the flaky layers and amazing flavor blew him away. The staff were doing their best on the hottest day we'd had yet this summer, food was ready in under 5 minutes. Perfect fresh taste for this heat wave. Currently no dine in, it's a call ahead or order at the counter and take away. Telling all my friends about this place, great tasting food and friendly prompt service. Definitely an underappreciated gem of Appleton, hidden just off of College Ave.

This place is the valley's hidden gem. We eat here about once a week or every other week. They have food that fits our eating habits; no cheese and no meat. And if you do like meat, their gyros are the best.

Very good gyro! I've seen some comments about it being dry, but I do not agree. It is not greasy, but it's not dry. The portion size was enough for my lunch and some left over meat for an omelette the next morning. I've never had cilantro in a gyro, so that was new. I wouldn't say it made it better or worse, just different. The falafel had good flavor, but was a little over cooked, still edible though. Curbside pickup was great, I pulled up and someone came right out with my food and I was on my way. Will definitely be back!

Josef's is the best money I've spent on a meal in a long time! With these generous portions and absolutely fresh ingredients, the flavors are incredible 🙂 If you haven't ordered yet, go do it now.

Great gyro place. They have different sizes to choose from and for the price you can't beat it. I ordered the giant Gyro along with a small fry. The tzatziki sauce was a little thicker then I'm use to but the Taste was great and will for sure go again when I'm in town.

Tried a few items from this restaurant and all of them were great. The Gyros have generous portions of meat, everything is super fresh, and the food is priced reasonably. The kitchen looks tidy and clean. The guys that work there are very friendly and hardworking. Highly recommend!

Fantastic! Easily the best gyros in NE Wisconsin. Had the classic small gyro, which had a massive amount of meat and toppings. Great value and great taste. All of which was delicious - meat reminded me of the best gyro places on the east coast I have had. Fries had the right level of seasoning too. Really impressed and will be back often.

Awesome greek salad and dressing, but the gyro meat was very dry... dipping it in the delicious Tziki sauce helped! Easy, safe ordering... you step in, order and wait outside. Super friendly staff!

Delicious authentic food made fresh. Curbside pickup was fast and easy. The gyros were huge, even the small and slim we had to save half. The seasoned fries have excellent flavor and the baklava was so delicious.

Awesome Gyros. They always have good portions of food, even for the regular gyro. The place inside is smaller, but you can sit outside and eat when the weather is good. The place has a comfy vibe to it. The owner/staff are friendly and guide you through the menu if you are new. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Josef’s Gyros is tucked away on a side street of off college avenue. Very easy to miss if you’re not looking for it. As the sign says they do Gyros and Kabobs primarily and they do them quite well. The portions can be generous if you opt for the larger sizes and the fries are simply delicious. Staff is always friendly and quick and I can’t really think of anything wrong with this place. You can’t go wrong eating here.

This place is fantastic. You can walk up or place your order online, pickup and go. The small gyro is a great amount of food and the price is reasonable. I hope they stay around for a long time!

Bit out of view, but worth the search behind buildings on main downtown street. Had a "small" gyro that was stacked high with meat. Good side of falafel as well. It is carry out only, which was ok but did not know when I headed over there.

I got the loaded Greek fries and baklava, and everything is very reasonably priced and very delicious. My new favorite restaurant!

First time here. Wish there was indoor seating but happy there where four out door tables. Love the food and flavor! Once we started eating didn’t stop to take pictures! There are multiple sizes for most options! The small gyros were filling and the fries had great seasoning on them!

The slim gyros, lamb/beef and chicken were very tasty, loved the tzataziki and hummus sauce and the seasoned fries. Only disappointment was that the lamb had beef in it. But very tasty. No place to sit and eat but we knew that going in.

By far the best gyros I have ever had. No other gyro place has been able to even compare. Prices are great, portions are huge, and the atmosphere is fun and casual. Cannot recommend enough!

Good to see and taste some other food that's not "American". I think this place is great. The rice and veggies are super tasty. The hummus and pita are great too. I've had better falafel, but this was decent. The price was and the food was timely and fresh.

Great gyro, had the small with cilantro and tiziki sauce ( yep can’t spell that right) and seasoned fries and it was excellent! Everything you want in a gyro and the portion is perfect. The seasoned fries are crispy and seasoned just right. Definitely will be back!

Saw this place online and needed something quick and cheap. I could’ve never known what was in store for me. As I walked into the tiny shop and ordered from the sparse menu I was impressed at the low price and cleanliness. And the absolutely delicious smell made me order more than expected. I got a smal Greek salad, a Zeus burger and a chicken kabob. They brought out my food very quick(kind of them since it was freezing out) and I pulled away to begin my long drive home. I ate the kabob first because the smell was so good. As I hit into the freshly cooked chicken my thoughts went to the fact I had only tipped 20%. This deserved at least 30%. It was so juicy, greasy, and flavorful. I finished it quickly. Then onto the burger. Again, the smell was delicious but I was not prepared for the flavor. The tomato with the onion and crispy gyro meat(dark exactly like it should be) and a grilled bun was perfect. A clear 10/10. I considered, was marriage on the table? Surely these wonderful men were already taken. I finished it quickly despite it being a good portion. Onto the salad. I expected the least out of this salad. I mean, there’s not much you can do with a Greek salad, it’s the same everywhere right? WRONG. This is the best salad I’ve ever had and I don’t know why. Did they sprinkle pixie dust on it? Was it the lemon juice or the crisp spicy pepperocini? I’ll never know but I will be back to find out. Overall 10/10. Speed 9/10. Flavor10/10. Price10/10. Portion size 10/10. New favorite restaurant in Appleton hands down.

This restaurant is a walk-in. Not much standing room to wait in. The falafel is a solid 'good +', the fries are very salty so take care if you have considerations. Price is just a little bit high for the product, but portions are generous. Very clean, and the attendants are polite and genuine; great 'store-side manner'.

AMAZING food! The small gyro is HUGE. I couldn't eat it all. Will try the slim next time. The cheese curds and falafel were both tasty and my less adventurous eater got a cheeseburger which she said was delicious. We did curbside pickup which was super smooth. A++++ will definitely stop at again when we pass through Appleton.

My wife and I each ordered a gyro, fries and hummus. The food was very high quality, fresh and delicious. Servings were huge. One of the best gyro joints we’ve eaten at.

Delicious gyros with a unique trait of cilantro which is absolutely delicious...the large fries were big enough to feed 4 people. Alas it's several states away from my home so I can't get it again any time soon.
