Have
you
ever
experienced
the
smell
of
popcorn
that
has
been
microwaved
until
it’s
burnt
beyond
ediblity?
We’ll
take
that
smell
and
multiply
that
by
50
and
that’s
the
smell
of
the
room
we
were
given.
The
microwave
was
unusable
as
it
seemingly
was
the
source
of
the
odor.
To
open
the
window
and
get
fresh
air
was
not
feasible
as
a
couple
of
air
conditioners
were
running
loudly
just
outside
on
the
roof
which
was
the
view
outside
of
the
window.
The
television
was
set
to
a
dark
screen
with
no
way
to
brighten
it.
And
the
hotel’s
fire
alarm
was
out
of
commission
leaving
us
all
with
the
possibility
of
burning
to
death.
But
hey,
the
place
can’t
get
any
smokier/stinkier.
(It
seems
like
operating
a
hotel
without
a
fire
alarm
should
be
illegal.)
The
walls
are
paper
thin.
So
prepare
yourself
to
be
awakened
when
the
others
in
the
hotel
get
up
and
when
they
leave.
Including
the
folks
in
the
room
directly
above
the
room
we
were
in,
which
I
could
clearly
hear
walking
around
at
all
hours.
And
there
is
the
distinct
possibility
that
you
are
also
keeping
up
your
neighbors
as
the
bed
creaked
every
time
we
shifted
position.
So
if
you
were
looking
for
a
place
to
comfortably
rest
for
a
night
or
two,
KEEP
LOOKING.
This
isn’t
the
place
for
comfort
or
rest.
This
is
a
cheap
hotel
with
many
issues.
You
have
to
decide
if
your
comfort,
and
your
SAFETY
is
worth
sacrificing
to
get
a
cheap
rate
on
a
hotel
room.
