We placed an order to go, and once we walked in the guy by the counter with a cast almost ignored us. We didn't feel welcome and then the girl came out, glanced at us and said that they don't do take outs where in front of our eyes literally she handed to go order to the customer.... I understand that they might be short staffed but the attitude and ignorance that was given !.... I liked the restaurant, the design but they should improve their customer service skills for sure So I've got grilled octopus and dandelion grass?! The name isn't grass but has something to do with dandelion and I'm saying it's grass because it looks like it and is bitter. Don't recommend, the octopus is good but kind of burnt in some parts . My husband got a dish with mixture of everything which was really good Their homemade bread is so good We sat at the bar while we were waiting for our take out to be ready I'd like to come and dine in inside Update on 6/22/2021 We had a reservation here last Saturday and although I asked over the phone to have it by the nice green wall with those pink flowers we didn't get it. Food is delicious, the homemade bread is so good, mashed potatoes with garlic, fried octopus, and flaming cheese were amazing. The Greek wine is strong than usual Californian wines The Greek fries with feta cheese weren't that great as I expected. I had beef mousaka and it was good. Like someone in our party said the food doesn't look good but tastes good, for the most part We had three desserts out of 6 in their menu and they were okay I wish they could've offered something for big groups so everyone could share including the main course and desserts. We had hard time over that part, and I was told over the phone they do it for groups of 15 people, well maybe it should be available for smaller groups too, perhaps?! Service was good but it was 8 of us as I said and in the beginning reminding about silverware, napkins and straws is kind of frustrating a bit especially when I'd like to enjoy the company and pleasant dinner

Came for a birthday party and really enjoyed what was ordered. We got a feta dish with some sort of spicy tomato sauce and it was outstanding. The waitress was neither here nor there but she and I participated in great banter. The Greek salad was legit. I got the fried smelt for my main and it was legit just a full plate of fried smelt. I shared it with everyone at the table and it was a hit! The Greek potatoes though, let me tell you, soft, boiled, lightly seared, and with a seasoning to die for, strongly recommend. Plus it’s a family owned place, can’t beat that!

I have worked in restaurants all of my life and let me say I was not satisfied by my experience here. I rarely write reviews but I feel that it is needed. First, as we are coming into the parking lot, we see that the front lot is full or certain spots are blocked by orange cones. We went to the back lot that had spaces open with no orange cones and parked into one of them. But then, the guy running valet immediately comes over to tell us we cannot park there because it is next to his car? It honestly didn't make sense but we moved anyway. The ambiance is beautiful and very Greek style. The bus boys were on top of it, consistently refilling waters and cleaning tables/messes and assisting to many requests from customers. Give those men a raise!! The lady's hosting up front were friendly and very welcoming. But as it wasn't too busy on a Tuesday night it took about 20 minutes for a server to show up to us. But as soon as he came over with lemons he left for another 10 minutes. All we wanted was to order some food!! The Greek salad and saganaki were very good. Highly recommend. I also ordered Greek fries with Feta and when we asked why we didn't receive it the server said he didn't realize I was being serious about ordering those? Anyways, I understood that his main language was Greek, and I am all for people coming to America to have an opportunity we all deserve so I wasn't too bothered by that.. but i was very dissatisfied when the fries came with a pinch of feta... and it was a $2.50 charge. I have never gotten Greek feta Fries with such little feta like what is the point... I worked in a Greek restaurant and I have been to many and never have I seen that little amount and for such high price. (See photo) overall mid experience.

Ohmyyygahhhhhh! This was the best meal I have had in a very long time! Went there for a light meal and left stuffed. Beautiful ambiance. Excellent wait staff. Beautifully presented, delicious food. 4 tables got serenaded with Happy Birthdays and desserts with little lit sparklers stuck in them. Plus I lost count of all the flaming goat cheese (and subsequent declarations of "OPA!") I saw delivered to tables! It was a delightful experience to observe - so festive! The bread on the tables was perfect and so delicious. I just can't say enough about the place! I almost forgot the white Greek wine which was lovely and the baklava was THE VERY BEST I have ever had!

I've had to correct my review for Mykonos. I went there for dinner recently and their gyros were much better than when I had gone for lunch some months ago. This time the gyro meat was tender, moist, and flavorful whereas I must have caught them at a bad time previously. My heart still belongs to another gyro place, but Mykonos is good too. The chargrilled octopus is amazing, worth the price in my opinion. Everything else has a homemade quality, from the braised lamb to the pork skewers. The food has a very particular style which may be surprising to some, but give it a chance. Live music was a bit loud, turn down that amp please, but it was appreciated.

Lovely place to get out of the sun and enjoy the breeze by the fountain. Lovely cold plates, fabulous drinks! No non alcoholic frozen options for the young adults... but the roditis are good!

I will definitely come back again! Foods are awesome and I love everything we ordered tonight. Waiters are nice and they are friendly to all customers. I have never been to Greek but I would say they have one of the most authentic Greek food.

Finally some authentic Greek food! Our family loved it. Each dish was more delicious than the last. Spiro helped answer our questions, made recommendations, and assisted with food allergy questions. Tzaziki made from greek yogurt! Authentic ingredients and menu choices. They have a full bar 🍸 with a great wine selection.

This place was a good time. Reminds of a Greek restaurant in Dallas that I went to in 1980. Same vibe, except this place was more open and lit up. The food was delicious. Met the owner Athena, a very nice lady. The place has been around since 1981 , so that says they are doing something right. There was live entertainment. Will be returning when in Chicagoland.

First time here and it was fabulously Greek! Braised lamb and the sample platter. Mimosas and Greek coffee and don't forget the dessert!

My husband and I went here, for lunch and the food/ service was terrible. The sauce, on the chicken was very salty and their kabob was flavorless. I couldn't even finish my food because it made me want to vomit. There was no marinade, on their kabob. It was almost as if they just threw chicken on a skewers, without any kind of marinade. Absolutely none. Waitress was not friendly, in the slightest. I have had Greek food before, which was amazing. The atmosphere was friendly and the manager even came around to the tables to see how everyone was doing. Not this place. If this was my first experience going to a Greek restaurant, if would definitely have been my last. Just horrible. It was my husband's first experience, with "Greek food," and i had to keep telling him. "This isn't real Greek food." "I promise you, it's really good." This restaurant gives real Greek food, which is delicious, a bad reputation.

Absolutely loved the freshness and the flavors of the food. Another thing…the restaurant was warm and inviting and extremely clean which is the first thing I look for. Our waiter was nice but not memorable…not a complaint just an observation which is why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5

I highly recommend the octopus and smelt! Service was lousy cause the waiter left us for twenty minutes after we finished the appetizer and salad before he came back to take the main dinner order. Also beware the automatic 20 percent tip.

The portions are large and the food is absolutely wonderful. If we hadn’t been flying out the next morning, we would have absolutely taken the leftovers (but we did get an enormous piece of baklava to take back with us). It was great to find out that it’s still the same family that’s been running it since the early 80s. I used to come in with my family when I was a kid and was happy that I was able to stop in when I was in town recently. The decor has been updated, but the food was as great as I remember if not better.

Went here for the first time tonight and had an amazing time. We sat in the patio right next to the fountain. My kids loved it! The waiter (tall young guy) was amazing! My kids were close to finishing their drinks so he brought over a small pitcher to refil their drinks and left the rest on the table. He was very attentive and very patient with all my questions. It was our fist time having Greek food. My kids had the chicken kabob and I had the combination plate. It was all delicious!

Tasty food I got chicken kebab that came with rice, potato and beans. it tasted so good. never had a food this tasty in any restaurant before. I enjoyed it a lot will definitely go back! Did I mention that interior design was so nice too. It was a white and blue that reminds you of Mikonos island architecture!

Always a great Greek meal and wine. I have the moussaka which is always fantastic, my friends have the gyros salad with plenty of ingredients and Greek olives, and my other friend had shrimp shish kabob. Another table had the village salad which looks fantastic and I will get next time full of various salad ingredients. Sat outside on their nice patio.

Excellent Greek food and service. Saganaki, salad, zucchini, octopus, and calamari appetizers were all delicious. Highly recommend the salmon plate.

I will start with saying I have not tried anything but the gyros plate from here and it was to go. With that being said, if you want to save money and eat good gyros, there are a TON of other places to get good gyros plates from where they fill the plate up. My picture included shows nothing but 5 strands of onions, some sauce, 4 tomatoes and some meat with a pita bread....all for almost 23$!!!! YOU CAN GO TO HUBS AND GET THEIR PLATTER FOR 13$ AND ITS GOT 5 LBS EASY ON THIS PLATE and you get fries. I ate this plate in less than 5 min and still hungry. Don't get played with the gyros plate. Sad. Do better mykonos. P.S. meat flavor was amazing.

I'm never disappointed with the freshness and quality of food served at Mykonos. Lovely, friendly staff and excellent portions. The chicken kabob plate was a bit bland, but I prefer lighter seasoning on chicken. The okra stew packed with tomatoes and garlic flavored was surely a favorite. We also enjoyed the perfectly grilled crunch and seasoning of octopus and calamari! Overall, great experience and lovely staff.
