Tried
to
visit
1st
time
today.
We
have
a
service
dog
and
were
met
outside
by
an
employee
who
told
us
to
not
bring
our
dog
near
the
resident
dog
at
the
entrance
of
the
facility.
She
said
it
was
not
friendly
to
dogs.
So,
we
had
to
pick
up
our
dog
to
enter
the
store.
Before
entering
the
employee
questioned
our
dog
being
a
service
dog.
Fair
enough,
they
are
entitled
to
ask.
Then
when
we
went
in
to
eat
a
woman
sprang
up
from
her
chair
where
she
was
eating
with
several
others
and
announced
she
was
the
owner
and
stated
we
couldn’t
bring
our
dog
into
the
facility.
I
explained
I
had
already
been
asked
prior
to
entering,
and
yes
a
service
dog
is
allowed
entry
to
anywhere.
She
then
said,
how
was
she
to
know
I
was
already
asked
and
I
suggested
that
her
employee
let
her
know
when
a
guest
has
been
challenged
upon
entry.
She
said,
you
expect
me
to
have
my
employee
do
that?
I
said
yes,
you
could,
since
they
are
clearly
trained
to
do
so.
She
said
she
would
not
and
did
not
have
the
time
to
do
that.
She
then
left
and
returned
to
her
table
of
people
disappointed
that
she
couldn’t
get
us
to
leave.
However,
after
this
treatment
and
her
poor
attitude
towards
the
situation,
we
chose
to
leave.
Not
worth
the
aggravation,
because
I
sure
was
not
in
the
mood
to
sit
and
have
an
enjoyable,
unharnessed
meal.
Shameful
treatment
of
people
with
service
animals,
and
disabled
veterans.
We
were
just
out
at
Uncle
Julio’s
at
the
Schaumburg
mall
last
night
and
were
welcomed
with
smiling
faces
and
pleasant
attitudes
towards
us.
That
is
how
you
welcome
disabled
people
to
your
establishment!
This
manager
needs
to
learn
some
better
customer
service
skills.
