First of all, the gentleman at the cashier was super rude, very blunt and non-welcoming. I kept asking questions since it was my first time here and he answered as if he was mad. They had no ice, soups or seats in the place, we had no option but to sit outside. The food was super quick (5 minutes) which made me think they re-heated the chicken in my mom’s sandwich. The food had very little flavor. I recommend any different deli/sandwich shop in Glenwood other than this.

The food was really good, but the man that took our order was not very friendly. The food was prepared very quickly. I would eat here again

Just stopped in for two sandwiches and a salad. We added some of the items from their add-on menu and didn't check the sandwiches till we got home but they mixed up all of the ingredients and the sandwich was half full of meat and very soggy loaded with cheese. I had asked for feta instead of provolone on my grilled chicken sandwich and they loaded it with both cheeses and did not give me avocado which i paid for. I almost picked up the phone to tell them what was wrong, but the fact that they didn't listen to me when I gave my order made me believe that they probably wouldn't care it the order was messed up. I've come here before and the sandwiches are always good but I wouldnt get the grilled chicken sandwich and I would not change any ingredients. I also got a cobb salad that was $12 (no meat) but was disappointed because it was so small nothing but cheese egg and lettuce. The attached picture was my boyfriend's sandwich so soggy I had to pick pieces of the wrapping paper out of it.

Pulled pork, Italian, and meatball subs all very delicious! If you are nice to people, they are nice to you...funny how that works. 4 stars because the place could use a good scrub down. But food, price, employees, and atmosphere were all great. I would recommend.

Has a bit of a hole in the wall appearance, but don’t be fooled. That was, hands down, one of the best sandwich and soup meals I have ever had! The bread on my Italian sandwich was so fresh and crunchy, all the veggies were super fresh and crisp, and the minestrone soup was rich and full of flavor. I’m obsessed, and will definitely be back next time I’m in town!

So delicious. Every thing I've ever order is fresh and so tasty. If you need a good hoagie sandwich with fresh baked bread, meat and cheese, this is the place!

We had the Italian and the hot pastrami with Swiss and both were so good! The bread to inside ratio was spot on and the bread was fantastic! Great little lunch spot!

Sorry folks this place is a stinker and both the food, premises and service are an incredible shame. Or sham. Take your pick. I was fleeced $35 for a couple sandwiches my 6 year old granddaughter could have made better. There's nothing worse than cooked lettuce. It was not meant as a hot dish. The fact it was already warm when assembled on a supposedly cold Italian sub says it all. Cooked, wilted lettuce o. A cold sandwich is the most disgusting food arrangement I can think of. Not to mention the hygiene. The place has no A/C or effective swamp cooler. The manager/owner was huffing, puffing and dripping sweat all over the counter and food area. There were abundant flies and creatures scurrying hither and thither......need I say more? Oh, he was rude to my spouse too. Absolutely no people skills and no service industry expertise. Chomo a PB&J instead.

Stopped in for a quick bite as we were spending the day driving up and down 70. Got a pastrami and swiss, with a number of add-ons. Bread was good and crusty, pastrami was fantastic, all the other ingredients were good and fresh! Too bad this place isn't a few hundred miles closer!

I’m not understanding what kind of food people are eating that this place is rated so well. Usually I can count on Google reviews, but not in this instance. Just ate here and it was one of the worst sandwiches and potato salads my family has ever eaten. We ordered two Italians and a meatball sub. The Italians were served hot, which is the first yuck. It doesn’t say that on the board and we weren’t asked if we wanted them heated. Who wants warm lettuce? There were only four total pieces of meat on my sub, barely visible amongst all the bread. My son ordered the meatball and they were tiny little frozen, reheated meatballs that looked hard and burnt. There was hardly any sauce. The potato salad had hardly any potatoes and was essentially a bowl of the salad dressing with carrots. It breaks my heart to write this, as I love to patronize local businesses.

You will not find a better Italian sandwich! From the wonderfully soft yet crusty bread, to the savory meats, cheese and peppers, it’s absolutely delightful. I’ve been eating these for 10 years and I look forward to them every time.

Stopped by here after iron mountain hot springs. My husband got the soup of the day (chicken noodle) and i got the pastrami and swiss sandwich. His soup was really good, u can tell it's homemade not store bought. My sandwich was just perfect, i love pastrami so i couldn't not love it. The inside is super cute too. Can't miss it, its a yellow house!!

Amazing sandwichs. Stopped on our way off I-70 to grab something quick. Service was friendly and fast. We both enjoyed our sandwiches that hit the spot!

Decent sandwiches. The older gentleman taking the orders was having a bad day. At one point, we almost just stopped ordering to leave, but I have a soft spot in my heart for privately owned non chain businesses so we suffered through his miserable personality.

Love the OG crew, Edna & Steve <3 Come here for a quick sub on your way to the hot springs or a walk across the river into Glenwood. Best bread in town and would highly suggest getting the Italian sub or prime rib.

I have eaten here a number of times. After today, I will never go back. The help does not know how to use the register. They tried to give me change for a $100 in $5's. I said I just wanted to put it on my card. They help couldn't figure it out then the owner did. The help started yelling at me in spanish and was extremely unprofessional. Sorry Chomps.

I told the guy at the front that I don’t eat meat but only seafood, so I was surprised when my salad came out with bacon on top (not listed on the menu btw). The kid making the salads grabbed the bacon with his gloved hand and closed the lid again. Talk about cross contamination! I then proceeded to leave anyways rather than asking him to remake it because I was already running late. I then got to my destination where I had a couple of minutes to stuff the salad in my face, just to find that it had no dressing on it. Not a great experience. Would give it another chance though because my boyfriend loved his sandwich.

Chomps had just moved and we were able to get some very good sandwiches. Looking forward to returning and trying additional menu items. Understand that their soups are really good.

Polite staff . Quick service. Very very clean, the tables are sparkling, the restaurant has everything in order and organized neatly . Love the art work and positive vibes! Delicious food that hit the spot after spending the morning downtown!

Didn't know exactly what to expect. A cute deli order at the counter from posted wall menu. However the sandwiches allow you choose toppings which is nice feature. Quaint seating area. However the bread on the sub is really what made this a great experience! Unsure id return but dream of the bread

Wow! We stopped here on a whim after hiking. Excellent Italian sub. I always say the bread can make or break a sandwich. Here, it was soft and chewy with a bit of crunch. Superb. We'll be back for sure.

Way too much tuna salad on the sandwich. It seems this is a problem at most places. So much filling it falls out when you try to pick it up to eat it. I also ordered a salad. (The sandwich was for to go but the salad was inedible, so...) I was served a salad and the greens were so old and slimy I just finally had to toss it out. The toppings seemed tasty and I tried to enjoy it, it was just too much. Please serve fresh greens. It was terrible.

the best sub shop in Colorado. I had it for the first time and did a happy dance. you really can't beat a good sub made well. great price too...I will definitely 100% be back.

The place doesn't look like much and is certainly not a high class deli. But I had a tuna salad sandwich and it was easily the best I've ever eaten. It was clear to me that the locals are the biggest customer base. It's the place to go when all you want is a great sandwich!

Great little deli right across the street from Hotel Colorado. The minestrone was to die for and both salads I had while in town were delicious. I was bummed that the polish place that used to be at this location had moved, but happy it was replaced with something equally as good.

This place smells amazing, and the sandwiches did not disappoint! It's a really casual place, Springsteen music and the like playing, a couple of booths and bartop tables. The people who helped us were great! They were helpful and friendly.
