I have been going to this restaurant for 10 years and We only order the Tortas because they are the best thing you will ever put in your mouth! The margaritas are quite lovely and the staff are always very friendly. I highly recommend Taqueria’s Tortas with carnitas.

Camarones empanizados. That's all that's needs to be said. You wont regret it! After you eat all your shrimp... pour your sauce on your rice and mix it with the salad. Sooo good!!!

Lousy food and service! We like Mexican but this was bad! Clerk acted like she didn't understand what we wanted to order! Then only got part of our order and what we did get tasted lousy! Not friendly! Won't go back! Do not recommend! There are plenty of other restaurants in this area! Don't waste your money on this one!>

Always go here especially for birthdays. Local secret and best in my opinion. Just celebrated my husband's bday in November, and my dad's 83rd there last week...3rd year in a row! They make it special, love to Paloma, she is the best! Love the Sombrero!

Wonderful Mexican Restaurant in Glenwood! First time my friends and I had been there; the food was amazing, the decor was incredibly colorful and I will definitely go back!

My favorite restaurant in Glenwood Springs and one of the best Mexican restaurants in Colorado! Have been stopping there for years whenever I am in Glenwood Springs. The tacos and the salsa bar are fantastic!

It's been a few years since I've been in the area and I'm going back again today. Great food. Colorful atmosphere. I love this place! I hope it's still the same.

First time trying this and it will be our last came in and placed a order to go. Got home and after spending 60.00 for 2 people. 8.00 of that for just asking for a couple extra sauces we couldn’t even eat it or enjoy it. Plus that staff was not very friendly. Even a simple cheese quesadilla wasn’t even worth eating. And the Carne Asada was over cooked. The only thing worth eating was the refried beans.

I have to be honest, we have NEVER gotten a correct order there. When we drive 40 miles to Glenwood, we always get food there, and look forward to it, and order extra to cover mistakes, and tip extra, and WE DON'T CARE. The food is soooo good!! It is packed at all times, and everyone, customers and employees, are so nice and happy and those cooks are killing it back there. It is a highlight for any visit to Glenwood Springs!!

I will never visit this establishment again. I ordered my drink with "light ice" at which point what I assumed to be a manager said something in Spanish to the cashier. My friend with me at the time doesn't look like he speaks Spanish, but he definitely does, noted that the manager said "Don't give him light ice, fill his cup with ice." Sure enough, my cup was filled with ice. Any business this petty doesn't get my patronage. And Glenwood Springs' already awful reputation for food service continues to find new levels of abysmal.

For $3.25 a piece I was expecting a much larger taco. Also they won’t let you take any salsa to go. Don’t waste your money.

We were pleased to see this location was still open and thriving since our last visit there some 8 years ago. Outstanding real Mexican food and friendly staff. Order at counter and sit down in lovely dining area. You know it's authentic when you are the only tourists in the restaurant. Just note there is a charge to use a credit card.

food is so so so good but expensive, they do take your food to you but you order at the register. wish the menudo plates were bigger though

The shrimp was old and nasty in the shrimp cocktail the rice had a bug in it. The service was horrible,,,, they do not change their gloves and will throw the trash and serve your order of food with the same nasty gloves.

Definitely not fancy, but food is legit. My Hispanic mom in law would definitely endorse!!! Best carnitas and asada I have had since moving to CO.... We eat here every other time we visit Glenwood springs. About 2 x a month! Posole is the bomb.

Great choice for traditional street tacos, each loaded with generous portions of protein. But the real star is the condiments/salsa bar -- fresh and flavorful options to customize your food. Reasonably priced and well-executed -- this is a great choice if you're in the Glenwood Springs area.

I ordered 30 mins before to be able to have time to eat because I had limited time bc of work and they took a whole hour to make my food. The owner said they had put it in hold until we arrived. And the waitresses had a big attitude and wouldn’t attend us.

We stopped here for dinner while on the way to Aspen. Some of the best corn tortillas I've ever had. Weird thing to comment on first, but believe me, if you have them you'll have the same reaction. Most of the clientele seemed to be spanish-speaking, which is a great indication of the authenticity of this place. Would 100% stop here again. In fact, would time my drive to do so.

The food is delicious. The service, however, has gone from bad to worse. It's a shame because as mentioned the food is good. We waited 30 minutes for our food ordered 3 bowls of menudo and after the fact, when everyone else got their food at our table already, we were told they only had two. Why not tell us sooner? The servers are rude and don't take constructive criticism well, don't always take orders down correctly a s gave our order to someone else. If the servers were nicer and not bad mannered this place would be the great place it was when it first started years ago.

Truely not recommended ,,, the guy throwing the trash would not change his gloves and served the food with the same dirty gloves,,, the 5 pieces of shrimp were nasty falling apart in the shrimp cocktail,,, and the rice had bugs in it not worth the money spent
