I really wanted to like this restaurant. It was my son's birthday and it's a tradition to eat Mexican food on his bday. I read the reviews of previous people and thought I'd give it a shot, they were mediocre. Dang I should have listened. The waiter is very nice but extremely forgetful. He forgot my daughters drink, ketchup, enough silverware and so on. The food tastes good unless it's the chili relleno. It is coated in an egg cheese batter and intolerable to eat. Also, the margaritas..just stay away from. I ordered a Coronarita and it was watered down margarita with a small Corona. It was extremely dead around 5 PM. Look....just keep moving on. Dont do it.

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered this when our favorite spot wasn’t available for delivery. That was comically bad, stale unsalted chips, no flavor, weird consistency. All basically inedible and immediately made my stomach churn. Don’t get the queso, it was watery and tasted very off. They didn’t even put it in a bowl, just loose tin foil? Just don’t. Go elsewhere. Not worth the upset stomach and $70.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. We got our drinks served, but then the waitress NEVER came back to check in us. It was the manager that came over to see how we were doing. I told him we had not ordered yet, and had been waiting to do so for over 20 minutes. Once we got our food, it was absolutely nasty. The ground beef tasted greasy to the max and was very off in taste, almost like it was old, and the chicken tasted like freaking FISH! I’m pretty confident they fried the chicken in the same oil as the fish. It was so gross. The beans were also super flavorless, greasy, and tasted like they came out of a can or something. I definitely was pretty disappointed in this place. These people need a serious amount of cooking lessons, and they need lessons on customer service. For any tourist looking for good Mexican food, DO NOT COME HERE!!! It’ll save you worth a lot of effort.

Food was horrible as well as we ordered take out and they didn’t give tortillas or any kind of sauce. Just dry meat and nasty burritos

This place was about a 15 minute walk from the Glenwood Springs hotel and springs. Nice and easy to find using gps. We were promptly greeted and told to choose a seat. He took our drink orders immediately. Spoke Spanish to my wife who is Native and I answered back, he looked surprised. Lol. We got our drinks, chips, salsa and some type of shredded lettuce, tomatoes and onion with a nice dressing. I liked it, different. Wife and I both ordered 2 combination dinner; she had the Chili rellenos and shredded beef enchilada. Chili Relleno was okay, battered in sopapilla breading (didn’t like). The shredded beef was tasty and came in big chunks. Rice was tender and the whole beans was good but over-peppered. Crispy beef taco was okay; homemade shell was crisp, the meat seasoned but was different from a lot of others. Overall 2.5.

First off, it took 40 minutes to get our food for 4 people. The food had very little flavor and was definitely not worth the wait. A large family came in 10 minutes after us. They received their food and finished eating before we ever got ours. Salsa was very watery, and the chips had very little flavor. It also took over 20 minutes for my drink to come. We all had to conserve our drinks since it took forever. Staff was inattentive and very rude. We had to wave someone down to get their attention while we watched as they consistently checked in with the other family, asking if they needed anything. Very disappointed.

Food wasn’t the best and when I ordered a burger the waiter told me if I wanted a burger I should’ve went to McDonald’s…. Not sure if he was joking but definitely caught me off guard. My little nieces ordered nuggets and they were raw… I will definitely not come back when I find myself in Glenwood Springs..

A hole in the wall with fresh lime juice margaritas, fast service and HUGE portions!

Wish I could give them zero stars! These guys are crooks! The food was okay and service just okay. It was after we left that we had problems. Our check total with tip was $73.77 they charged my card $140.54. When I contacted them about the issue they seemed willing to fix the issue and told me they'd call back. They did and said they found my receipt and that they didn't know why I was charged so much. They told me to give it a few days and to contact the owner at his personal number. I tried contantacting him and told them to refund my money or I would be disputing the charges. He chose to ignore me despite my ozone indicating he was reading all of my texts. I ended up having to dispute the charge with my bank. Save your self a headache and don't support this fraud!

Amazing food and amazing service. I don't know why this place was rated so poorly. It was truly authentic Mexican. And yes, sometimes they're hard to understand if you only speak English, but that's how you know you're getting real authentic Mexican. I would recommend for everybody

Owners don't speak or understand much English, it would help if you as the diner spoke a little Spanish. Food was decent, huge portions, but the spicy heat in a few of the meals was overwhelming. The drinks are made with generous amounts of alcohol.

We had a large party of 21 people, the owner was so kind to us and the service was amazing. The food was delicious and came out very quickly. They kept our drinks full!!! Had an amazing experience here.

This place was amazing! I'm really surprised at all. The other lower reviews. Food was excellent. Service was fast. There's nothing really I could say negative about it. Having lived in Mexico for a few years, the food was very authentic. The mole is extremely delicious. Highly recommend

This place is amazing! I loved the service and food. We had a big group of 21 people and they accommodated us! I loved what I ordered, I got the margarita burrito with beef. The food is to die for! Loved the people working there!!! So polite and helpful. Great atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed themselves, definitely would eat here again. Great prices!! 100 PERCENT RECOMMEND!! GO HERE!

My wife and I got the beef burrito and chicken enchilada combo and it was okay it very greasy and everything kind of ran together on the plate but the margaritas we ordered had a very unique and tasty flavor so that’s why I’m giving this place three stars and the service was friendly and quick.

Service was weak.... food took to long to come out, the crab legs were COLD, and food was just ok, and the young lady seem to not want to be there.... so if you're reading this go somewhere else.

Terrible service. We order drinks from the menu and 3 of them were unavailable, got wrong drinks served. Server was a mediocre who was annoyed because he was working alone! Also said if we didn’t like that he served an adult in a kids cup that we could leave, SO WE DID! NEVER GOING BACK!!

Great food and service. We asked them to just bring us a plate of Ceviche and chip and they don’t have it on the menu, and it was so good. The Mole enchiladas are really good and my wife has the carne asada that was giant. Good food and better service. 5 stars no doubt.

Our server was attentive and made us DELICIOUS house margaritas! We had fajitas combo and a combination dish. It all was very good.

God bless the hard working waiter who hustled around handling things as well as he can. he was polite and hard working. the salsa was 6/10 and chips were great. Food was good. VERY AFFORDABLE OMG. GO HERE
