We always enjoy stopping here. Beautiful spot right off the 70, and almost level with the Colorado River. Enough walking area to stretch your legs, and a couple places you can walk right down to the water. This last visit all the restroom stalls were out of toilet paper- men and women- but this is the only time that has happened, and the restrooms were still clean.

It has restroom and a wooden bridge trail for you to walk around. The creek is really nice. Plenty of parking. Good place off the fwy to rest and look at the scenery. Easy off and on freeway. Very nice spot!

Weve used this stop off 3 times now driving thru colorado. We love it so much and cant wait to be back. We see the exit coming up and everyone gets excited!

A quick easy in and out stop along your way. Grizzly Creek rest area is a surprise to most. The parking lot is nestled above the actual visitor station and bathrooms. Once parked a quick walk down the path will expose you to the beauty of the river. The autumn colors are always welcomed.

If you're new in town and never been here I think this is the ultimate viewing area of the Colorado river, There are plenty of trails and biking trails to take through the area. Lots to see and lots to take pictures of have fun and joy and be safe

This is one of our favorite rests tops. We usually stop here between grand junction and denver.there is a excellent view of the river, about 3 feet away. There is a nice restroom and picnic area. Lots of trees. At a bend in the river.
