Was very excited to be able to play a round at Ironbridge today (10/22/20) since I have only been able to play there a few times this year. Unfortunately, the guy that was working the pro shop today was so horribly rude it ruined the whole experience for me. The coarse was in good shape for this time of year and the outside service guys were great as was the snack cart attendant. But I was treated terribly from the pro shop guy from the moment I walked in. I arrived prior to my friend who was in possession of a gift certificate a friend of his was kind enough to give him for a round of golf for two people with cart ($258 value as indicated on the certificate). When I checked in I told this to the pro shop attendant and he insisted it was a buy one get one free certificate and I should pay. I told him I was pretty sure it was good for a round of golf for two people but he again insisted it was a buy one get one free certificate and I should pay now. I told him I would wait for my friend to arrive and if we needed to pay for one of the rounds we absolutely would. He rudely said they wouldn't "split the transaction" and insisted I should pay. I again said I'd wait for my friend just to be sure. He acted irritated and I left the pro shop. When we were about seven minutes out from our tee time my friend was still about a minute away. The guy comes out of the pro shop and tells me he will move our tee time back if my friend doesn't show up on time. I told him he will be there in a minute as I just got off the phone with him and he told me he was almost there. He said no less than 5 times that we only have five minutes to our tee time and I should come in and pay. I again told him we have a gift certificate for two rounds as I confirmed this with my friend on the phone. He said another two time we only have five more minutes and stormed off back to the pro shop. My friend pulled up and gave me the gift card to give to the pro shop while he got his bag loaded on the cart. When I gave the pro shop guy the gift card for two rounds he said, oh okay, and offered no apology for his rudeness and insistence that it was a BOGO. Okay, no biggie. He gave me a cart key and I simply asked if it was possible to get two carts as we both have family members that are high risk for COVID so there was some concern about sharing a cart. It was just an inquiry, not a demand or anything like that. He said they couldn't operate if they gave people separate carts to which I said I understand (even though when we played there earlier in the year they offered this, but I didn't mention that). When I was leaving he rudely said if we are worried about COVID we probably shouldn't be playing golf. Seriously! All he had to say was they unfortunately don't have enough carts to do that which is completely understandable, the rudeness was totally unnecessary. Despite wanting to put him in his place, I simply left and went to #1 to tee off exactly on time for when we were scheduled. Needless to say I have played my last round at Ironbridge, which is unfortunate considering I have played there for years going back as far as when it was called Westbank. Hopefully they can train this employee on even basic customer service if he is with them next season or else they will be losing a lot more business. This is the first negative review I have ever written in my life, but felt like it was warranted in this case.

Played for the first time at IronBridge. Conditions were very nice…fairways were perfect, greens were receptive and rolled true. My only complaint would be slow play. No Marshall the whole time and one sighting of the cart girl on hole 4 to deal with the slow play.

Beautiful course. It's going to be hard playing anywhere else now. Greens and fairways were great, the scenery is hard to explain. The pictures don't do justice

Stunningly gorgeous and largest course I’ve ever played! Definitely challenging and totally enjoyable. Staff is incredibly nice and does their best to make sure that every need is met. Views are indescribable and truly amazing that the public can play on this well-maintained and spectacular course!

The golf course may be closed for the season but the bar and restaurant are still open! Great food and a fun seasonal drink menu. The Jack Frost is a great cocktail!

We were staying outside of Glenwood springs and wanted a quick dinner without going into town. This place was quite nice. The ambiance was sort of casual golf clubby, but the food was quite delightful. A casual joint but everything was done very well. A lovely group of servers who all seem to be high school aged did a fine job.

I'm not a member, but on a snowy winter day was looking for a putter for my mom, who's 90 count-em 90 years old, and can still sink 20-footers and has a decent stance, even if her gait is uncertain, as is her memory. Chad, the pro, dropped what he was doing and fixed me/us right up. He double-checked the fit with one of his colleagues who was the same size as Mom, who's doing most of her putting indoors these days and wasn't with me. Got her a very decent club at a remarkable price. Couldn't have been nicer. He came across as being tickled to help out another golfer (that being Mom, who was quite good in her day -- what I do on the course doesn't count as golf). The setting is stunning, and the course looks pretty interesting, although remember, I'm not a very good golfer. Almost forgot, there's an actual truss bridge on the way in from Highway 82.

There’s a lot of gorgeous golf in the area but don’t skip this one. Stunning and interesting but not overly punishing (like some mountain courses), with river, red rock and Mountain views to spare. The last 4 holes are special. Tucked into the mountain, it feels like you’re on a beautiful hike that happens to have tee boxes every so often.

Amazing course that starts in the valley and slowly climbs it’s way up into the hills, finishing with 4 incredible mountain holes. Fast greens and good conditions. My favorite CO mountain course I’ve played so far!

Beautiful course and well maintained ! If I was only a local this would my stay. Friendly members to play with. Pace of play was a little slow but can be over looked by the scenery. Will return.

One of the most entertaining and challenging courses I've played. The staff was very kind and helpful and the course was very well maintained, especially for lat fall golf! Beautiful place any golfer should visit!

Ironbridge is unequivocally unequaled to anything I have seen in the world of Golf. While attempting to be so delicate and careful not to be a "spoiler"; I will tell you that you SHOULD let the hint of the cart path between Hole 1 and Hole 2 start you wondering what type of ingenious array of splendor and unique one of a kind golfing experience is set before you. The course only continues to build like a well directed night with the Philharmonic Orchestra, until you finish the 14th Hole and begin the final act of an unforgettable experience of a lifetime. If you haven't played Ironbridge, you've simple hit a ball with a club by comparison!

Amazing golf course. Holes 15-18 are breathtaking where you golf in the canyon. Full service grill and bar. The pro shop has lots of merchandise. And a beverage cart services the course!!!!

Brought my Dad out from Atlanta and had an absolute fantastic time. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful at all times. The course was beautiful and should be at the top of any golfers list on places to play in CO. The green had been aerated about 3 days before we played and still felt better than most places we play. I've played a lot of golf in the last year thanks to Covid and this is my favorite without a doubt. Can't wait to come back.

I’ve golfed here each of the past 2 summers and it’s one of the best I’ve ever played. The last 4 holes are obviously incredible but the rest of the course is in great condition and has some pretty sweet views.
