We love staying at Glenwood Suites and it has been our “go to” for years. We were a bit disappointed with the upkeep, cleanliness, and breakfast this time around. The lobby has been renovated with new flooring and looks great. Unfortunately, the bathroom ceiling in our family suite had been patched around the fire sprinkler on the ceiling and had not been painted and the shower curtain had mildew spots. The breakfast has been so much better in the past. We really loved when the other room was open with additional hot breakfast options and more tables where we could eat. I loved that we never had to compete with other families for a table. There were limited options and limited seating for breakfast. That all being said, the staff was very kind and we enjoyed all other parts of our stay. We are hopeful that our next stay will be better.

Good value. Our check in was nice and easy. Tia was very sweet and cheery. The room itself was a bit dated, but in good condition. The included breakfast was nice and really adds to the value. Surprisingly there's also available underground parking on a first come first serve basis which was a nice surprise.

We love staying here! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because we were put right next to the housekeeping room and the washer/dryer were so loud we couldn't hear our TV without blasting the volume. The rooms were very clean, sanitized, and extra toiletries were left so housekeeping did not have to come in between our nights there. The front desk staff were super friendly and offered restaurant suggestions. The breakfast is so good! Full continental breakfast plus gluten free waffles and endless coffee. Will continue staying here!

I loved these Suits.. I really wished I stayed longer even just to relax another day and just stay in,I would’ve liked being in the hotel more than exploring Glenwood Springs.. I would’ve like a later check out time also.. however my favorite part was that we had two queen size beds along with a set of bunk beds, which I loved how they had their own tv to watch their cartoon.. super awesome.. I loved there was a microwave and a decent size fridge.. I loved how there is a comforter and not just sheets,we brought our own blankets in case.. their selection for breakfast was great also, would’ve been a major plus for potatoes and bacon but we dealt with the selection they had which was great. The price wasn’t too bad for all we got. I loved that they actually had a blow dryer (unlike some other hotels we stay at) they even had make-up removal pads,q-tips,and cotton balls, that was amazing.. I just over all loved this place and was so happy with everything. The staff was amazing. I have 0 complaints

I planned to stay here for months because of my work but after a week they told me I have to move out that Saturday that I can come back on Sunday so I had to go through the stress of moving my stuffs in, moving them out and then moving in back. So when I moved out on Saturday morning I forgot some of my stuffs like my winter boots and some clothes, also by Sunday I wanted to move back in they said now we have to charge you double for no reason so I left and stayed at another hotel, till today they can’t provide my boot and other valued items I forgot and I keep calling them requesting to talk to the manager but they keep lying that he is not available and they will call me back which they never did. So this hotel just kicked me out and also stole my valuable properties, could it be that they don’t care because I’m black and feel like I can’t do anything but I already reported everything to the laws.

The hotel was undergoing a renovation when we stayed. The floor had paint splatters, drywall crumbles etc., and our room had a strong smell of paint that was uncomfortable. There was no eating area available because furniture was piled into the dining area. I was disappointed we couldn’t have free breakfast as advertised. Our room advertised a Mountain View, but we were actually directly facing the highway from a close distance. The bed was very firm. Hotel staff were very nice and doing their best, but we checked out a day early. My advice to Glenwood suites, please don’t book guests while you are renovating your hotel, as it makes it an unpleasant experience.

This hotel seemed nice and clean initially but we found a bedbug crawling on a pillow after sleeping all night in the bed. They did move us to another room but when asked for one night of our two night stay to be comped the manager would only do 25%. Wanted other travelers to be aware because it’s a nightmare trying to make sure you don’t bring bed bugs back home.

Very nice rooms. Looked to be updated recently as the pics on other reviews seem to be of before renovation. Stayed one night and had absolutely no problems. Was not aware why it was named on the river until I saw it on the maps. Only negative would be the breakfast. Not enough options as compared to other hotels which serve breakfasts.

Front desk treated me more like a beggar. I used my points and stayed free (I earned those points). When I tried to book another nite they said there were no rooms, even tho I went on line and could book. ??? We went across the road to the Quality Inn and got a nice river view room. Both rooms were comfortable.

Hotel overall was pretty good. After our first night stay we found a bed big and evidence of them in the room we were staying. Talked to front desk and all they were willing to refund was a portion of one night. Not even the whole night where we found the big. They said if you want to talk about it call the following day for the general manager. I did so and he was not in. Left a message to have him call me. Never did and was told he left for the day. Was given some random email by front desk. Would not recommend this location don't seem to care about guests.

The location was good, right off the interstate. The room was ok, but after I got settled in and finished getting some work caught up, I found out the TV didn't work. By that point, I was too tired to deal with people. I watched TV on my phone. They really should note that before you book a room, the amount of renovations going on. That and the fact breakfast was a microwave burrito. I know they are doing their best but warn your customers. The other thing is when I went to check in the counter help was probably out smoking. A nice guy tried to cover for but..... Anyway it will be a nice place in the future and then the rates will double.

Traffic had come to a stop and it was pouring rain, and since we were on motorcycles, we decided to call it a day... we got lucky and managed to get a room. A suite, actually! But, to make it even nicer for us, they have basement parking, so we were able to park our bikes and unload our gear in a dry garage!! Our suite was super nice, the lady at the front desk was super nice and the price was very affordable for what we had.

We had the suite on the first floor, and it has a jacuzzi and a stand-up shower. The rooms were amazing. The beds are very comfortable. I had my family with me. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family. The only Con is that it needs new shower heads. But overall best stay ever.

We stayed in the 2 room suite. Rooms were nice, clean, and basic. Service is great! Breakfast was typical. Our only problem was parking. We have a large vehicle, and parking in the garage was difficult. Some days, we were lucky to park out front, other times, not so much. Also, they advise they have a pool, but don't. We have to use the pool at Quality Inn across the street. They also advertise that it is "On The River," but it is not. The Quality Inn is on the river. There is absolutely no view of the river at the Comfort Inn and Suites On The River. Overall, it's a nice, clean hotel with great service!

Nice spacious room, clean and comfortable. The clerk, Jasmine, she was not so great. Didn't greet or smile, bearly could hear what she was saying. Bad customer service on her part. Housekeeper was nice and attentive.

This hotel was sooooo amazing!!!! Our room had a balcony!!!! Definitely the best, most comfy budget hotel I have ever stayed in and competing with some of the higher class hotels!!! Super comfy bed, the pillows were brand new and so great! It was clean and smelled good. The linens were white and not stained. It was very impressive...especially for the price. I am soon to go on a two week long road trip up the east coast and will be looking for Comfort Inns at each stop as long as they are all this nice and stay clise to this price point!!!

Accessibility award winner! I've stayed at multiple Comfort Inns and this one wins in the room department, hands down. The shower was easily accessible with all the right whistles and bells (photo attached). I love that there is a door that closes to the bedroom part with a TV room that has the door to the adjoining room in its own area. Made for the best soundproofed hotel room I've had to date. Everything was VERY clean! It also has an easily accessible Riverwalk path just across the street (photo attached). It's right off I70 yet felt worlds away. Pros: room and hotel accessibility, cleanliness, quiet Cons: not very personable front desk people, the pool is across the street (so I didn't go), breakfast is the same underwhelming model I've seen at Comfort Inn lately (waffles, eggs, sausage, toast, cereal and yogurt) it was clean and well stocked though.

Parking beneath hotel is very limited but nice to have a free garage during the winter 👍 Gave the room 4 stars because it had no closet or coat hooks, etc and the hallway to the room was very narrow so using the luggage cart was pretty difficult, lol 😆 Breakfast was a nice surprise, especially post COVID. Had great juice selection, a waffle bar and was well stocked with pastries, cereals, yogurts, etc. Staff was great and you're on a free? bus line(it was free while we were there???) plus you can conveniently catch the BRT to the ski resorts for just $5.

Absolutely the worst experience we had with Glenwood suites especially with the assistant manager of the hotel. We were a week away from staying at the property but caught the virus. We called the hotel to see if we can get points or refund- the front desk person mentioned we are ok - but the third party needs to cancel- talking to the 3rd party - they were ok to cancel but mentioned the hotel changed their mind- calling back the Asst general manager - She was so rude over the call and said the virus is no longer an emergency and didn’t give us a refund. She definitely sounded like a Karen who doesn’t respect others and was so rude. She cut the call twice when we were talking to her... This is not some hotel anyone should consider staying.

It was a place to sleep, but I do not plan to go back. Too many issues before I could go to sleep. I made a reservation around 11:45pm MST for my family. Arrived around 12:20am MST and was told there were no reservations, I had to show my phone with the confirmation email. Then it took about 15 minutes to get me checked in. Went to the room and there were no sheets for the pullout. Went down and was told he had no access to linen closet and I could buy another room. I said I paid for 1 room that would meet my needs if I had sheets for the pullout. I asked to check another room, that room had same issue. I then said I would take the sheets off that bed. The comforter I got had a huge pee stain and was grossed out. It was around 1:15am MST by the time everyone was able to go to sleep. Breakfast did not have any fruit.

Ok let's get down to the nitty and gritty here, the room overall wasn't that bad. My main complaints to the room was that the bed was too hard for me so I have some difficulty sleeping since my back is a little messed up. Anytime you moved on the bed it would sound like something was cracking under it. The TV in the room kept saying it was updating and would stop all action for about 5 minutes and after watching the TV from 15-20 minutes it would do it again which made the TV pretty useless. The staff was friendly and provided pretty good service. There is NO POOL in this hotel which is kind of a bummer since the surrounding hotsprings are minimum $30 per person. Overall this is a decent place to stay.

We had booked multiple 2 bedroom suites. The day before we were told there was a plumbing problem preventing our rooms from being available so they put us in regular rooms. The rooms were ok. We asked multiple times for additional towels and were told they didn't have any. There was multiple renovations going on which the managers took as priority over customer service. We waited for help for over 15 minutes in the lobby and were never helped. 3 days after check out we had an additional 40.00 charge that we inquired about. We called for 3 days with no one knowing why and on the 4th day the manager said it was for a missing soap dish, a dish We never had. We were told house keeping said it wasn't there and that our word that it wasn't there was a lie. The professionalism of management is horrible once you check in. If you are just starting the night it is ok, but if customer service is important I would not recommend it.

The suites were alright, had pretty much everything that you would need though. The staff was nice. The bathroom in our room was disgusting however and throughout the room and building you could see that maintenance was needed in some areas. Breakfast was not great, could've been better for sure.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had. I travel quite a bit for work and for leisure and I have never had an experience like this. The front desk representative was extremely rude and racist. She did not accommodate the inconvenience we experienced on their behalf. They put us in a different room from the one on our reservation. Once we saw the room was wrong we went downstairs and asked for the correct room. She was pleased to tell us that she was not going to help us and there was nothing she could do for us. She also told us we needed to leave her lobby after giving us the run around. She was extremely racist, unprofessional, and unaccommodating. Do not stay here. This is the absolute worst travel experience I’ve had.
