This is by far the best hotel stay at any La Quinta that I have ever had. The location is within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants as well as Iron Mountain Hot Springs. It's a 30 minute beautiful drive to Sunlight Mountain Resort. The rooms are extremely clean, great water pressure in the shower and service staff are kind, welcoming and efficient. Breakfast was included with our stay and was served piping hot with all the options one could possibly imagine. My son woke up every morning excited to make his own waffle and enjoy the pastries, egg, etc. I would recommend La Quinta 10/10!

It may be a 2 star rated in Google but don't let the stars fool you. I was quite surprised with the value I got by booking this hotel. I have stayed in other La Quinta chains and this one is one of the best. Glenwood springs itself is a very beautiful mountain city and this hotel perfectly compliments the stay. The check in process, lobby, parking and rooms - everything was perfect for the price. What's worth mentioning is the breakfast. I saw people were waiting in a line in the morning for the breakfast and it was well worth it. That's actually a true hot breakfast.

This is a reasonably priced hotel for Glenwood Springs and it's fine. Rooms are somewhat current and updated, but mine was in poor repair and not very clean. If you're a light sleeper, hope for no or polite guests above and nextdoor... Sound travels well here. Beds were comfortable. The hallways and most of rest of hotel is dank, depressing and not updated. The lobby and restaurant feel a little nicer. Breakfast is fine. Works, but I don't know where the folks giving glowing reviews were coming from.

An excellent, affordable hotel option in Glenwood Springs! The best thing about this place are the rooms, which are very clean and well updated. I was beyond pleasantly surprised at how nice they were. This extends to the lobby area and the breakfast, which were both great. Our service was really good here too. The ladies at the front desk were super helpful, and they went out of their way to say hello every time we passed by. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a solid, less expensive option. However, there are two things that this hotel needs to improve on that prevented me from giving it the five stars it would otherwise deserve. Firstly, the parking at this place is rough. The lot was essentially completely full on two separate evenings we stayed there. I had to park way in the back, squeezed between a box truck and pickup. Secondly, our room was on the second floor next to the elevator. For whatever reason, this elevator in particular was VERY loud. Loud enough that it woke me up on several occasions. There was also a lot of commotion, talking, and door slamming well into the night--not ideal for a relaxing stay.

It was a great place to stay! I wasn't a fan of the small pool or jacuzzi. The deepest part of the pool was 4ft. Then you were given a breakfast voucher for the buffet and had to pay $10 for each extra person or if it was lost. The buffet had a fantastic options to choose from including salsa and green chili to add on. The rooms were spacious and clean!

It's a great location at a reasonable price. The breakfast spread is pretty good. Don't know if it was just our room but it felt/smelt damp even with the window open and the a/c. Also it seemed like every other room on our floor had a dog so there was a lot of barking. If we'd of stayed for more than 2 nights we would have asked to change rooms. We'll stay here again and ask for the non dog floor

Nice up to date hotel are room was clean nice large TV large fridge and even a microwave. Front desk was friendly we stayed off season week day so the price was good and included a nice hot breakfast. Hotel is a ten minutes or less walking to the hot springs pool entrance. The pool is indoors is very small same for the hot tub but we had it to ourselves when we went down to it. I would stay there again

We booked a weekend here. To go biking on the river trail, and because it’s dog friendly also it’s a great location their breakfast is the bomb! Didn’t expect expect to have so much options. And the front desk lady are way cool!! I would totally recommend. But keep in mind there are a lot of dogs here.

Very nice rooms and clean. Stayed 3 nights and had a very good time. Great restaurant next door and awesome breakfast and pet friendly. Heard a few dogs over night, but we love dogs.

Pros: great location and easy waking distance from just about everywhere, front desk staff were nice, and breakfast was surprisingly good. Cons: tiny rooms, doors are held together with hot glue, door to the hallway does not block out any noise, housekeeping didn't come at all during our stay when we specifically requested them to come daily to take out trash and change towels, holes in walls in the common areas, outdoor patio is fully concrete, overall guests were loud and there was either someone fighting in the parking lot or in the hallway every night, and pool is a joke. Not at all worth the $316/night price tag.

I called in the afternoon to say if be arriving late. When I arrived they had sold my king room. Only room left was Queen. Got to room, black water all over toilet and floor, coming from toilet in room above. Front desk said she couldn’t do anything. She wasn’t allowed in room and her manager Sarah wasn’t answering. Belle from front desk eventually came and sanitized the bathroom. Very dissatisfied. Would not recommend this hotel. It needs reporting to the Health Department.

The only redeeming quality of this Hotel was the continental breakfast, It was huge and delicious. The staff was nice but everything else was the worst experience we have ever had. We stayed here for our 7 year anniversary. The wifi didn't work our entire stay, and the cell phone service was terrible inside the hotel so you had to leave the hotel to use your phone. The parking lot does not have enough spaces to accommodate all the guest. You risk getting towed if you don't park in the correct spaces so you end up walking to make sure you keep your spot. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable and the Shower pressure was terrible. The hot and cold was ok but it never really got hot just warm. I will most definitely stay at another Hotel the next time we visit. Lastly the walls are paper thin and we had very loud neighbors.

We had an emergency overnight stay due to wildfires and was overjoyed with this find! It is a truly pet-friendly hotel. The remodel was amazing and beautiful. Modern and sleek. Even though it's convenient to the highway it's quiet. The breakfast is amazing. Staff was super nice even with a line of rude folks also trapped on the western slope. Highly recommend!

Hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to downtown, cable car, or hot springs. I loved the breakfast. They had all the ingredients for chilaquiles (chips, potatoes, eggs, roasted jalapeños, green chili). The green chili was excellent, better than most Mexican restaurants. Rooms are nice size and the bed is comfortable. I’d stay again just to have the breakfast!!

The hotel was very clean and the rooms were nice. The only troubles we experienced were noisy people in the halls late at night. There were people blasting music at 3am which kept my girlfriend awake. The walls must have been thin, because I could hear toilets flushing and just general noise from other guests. Overall, it was a good place to sleep if you’re not awoken easily.

I've always maintained that La Quinta is the best chain hotel in my usual price range and this visit did not disappoint. Prices are overall not low in this beautiful Valley but I swear this is the nicest La Quinta I've been to and the breakfast was 10/10. Staff was responsive to requests and all really really friendly. Will come again!

I left some fairly valuable items in my room. I called a few hours after I was out of town and the staff promptly checked the room, found the items and mailed them to me the next day. They go above and beyond for their guests. Rooms were clean and there was a good variety of food for breakfast. Not just apples and oatmeal! Highly reccomend.

Stayed only one night. Was very satisfied with everything. Breakfast is not bad either. Just what you would expect. But I was very surprised and happy with my room. Parking was close by. I had forgotten an item after my departure and was successfully able to retrieve it from them. Once you update the showerheads in all rooms, I believe you can start charging more too. That would be my only negative feedback.

Great breakfast! Great service! Building could use a little updating but we came to hike and sleep not eat lobster and wear suit and tie. Great price to! We were satisfied!

Nice hotel! Very clean beds and bathroom. Full breakfast, with soda fountain! Good fresh coffee to keep you going! Right next to the hot springs spa! Just a a short walk to pretty much everything. Very quite with good view, friendly staff.

Gave us the worst room in the worst section of the building. Was awoken at 5 am by people using the ice maker every 15 minutes which was right outside our room door, as well as the housekeeping staff wheeling tons of carts since our room was right next to the housekeeping storage room, then the noisy elevator which was running every minute, doors slamming, constant ruckus, and tile being broken outside down below on the steps with loud machinery. All this between 5 - 8 am. Doors are like plywood and a big gap under them to allow all the noise to be heard inside the room. Did not get a good night's sleep. Complained to front desk - they said manager would be in later and give us a call that day and never did. For over $200, I expected to sleep and wake up refreshed. This hotel failed at their only job. Also, the hotel card wouldn't work for the gym. Only pro is the location, but I will never stay here again.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast was very good. They had chorizo (among other choices) the morning we stayed. I live in south Texas and I was surprised to see this in Colorado. I've never even seen it at a hotel in my home state. I'd definitely stay here again.

Paying over $350 a night for this quality of the hotel and service is pretty hard to get used to. The best thing about this hotel is they kept it clean. Cheaply built that shows at their popcorn ceiling, walls and the freight looking elevator. So many great opportunities that were lost because the design intend. I don’t expect Continental breakfast quality, but with everything sugary and not even one fresh fruit, that’s pretty hard to eat.

This is a very reasonable place to stay. Inviting lobby. Excellent free breakfast. Rooms were clean. Service was good. Location is prime. It's older and has imperfects. Parking area in relation to entry doors is not super great but it's doable. The pool is small but at least it's an option.

The hostes was very polite and got us a room quickly. We didn’t book ahead so I was nervous about availability. But the beds were comfortable and the shower was decent. The lobby had an awesome fire place and an awesome vibe with friends hanging out in the lobby chatting. The view of the mountains was also pretty good! We didn’t stay long but it was a very nice stop. Safe travels!

I highly recommend this hotel. The price was very reasonable, the room spacious and clean. Really nice bathroom too. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had, even when comparing to more expensive hotels. The dining area was very spacious as was the food area. They offered a large variety of breakfast options. The hotel staff were especially friendly making for a great stay. Thank you.

Good location. Easy walk to town or the Glenwood Hot Spring. Beautiful red rock across the highway. Lots of space for breakfast, which had a good variety of food. The room was a bit odd. There wasn't much light in the main room and we had to move furniture around. You could break your neck going into the bedroom since you had cross the room to turn on a lamp, but the room was quiet, and there was ample parking.

La Quinta Inn & Suites in Glenwood Springs is located perfectly in between a really good Mexican Food restaurant and a Village inn breakfast joint it's the perfect combination of convenience. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff is very attentive helpful and nice they will help with just about any need during your stay. When you walk in they greet you with a warm welcome the lobby is very clean open and beautifully designed. I recommend this stay anytime you are visiting the area. Also, there's a mini store for your late-night snacks frozen microwaveable meals & drinks open 24/7.

The hotel in itself is wonderful. It's very easily accessible from all roads. However, they built too many rooms for the parking they have (that's the one star reduction). If you are unlucky to arrive after all the spots by the hotel are taken, you have to park in nearby business parking lots. They also have very few handicap spots. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is well appointed, nothing fancy, but will do. They do allow pets, just book well in advance to ensure they have a room in the pets allowed section. The entire hotel is smoking free. The smoking areas are not far enough away from the room windows, and you can smell smoke and other recreational substances getting smoked outside. Aside from the parking, the only other issue is the pet relieving area, it's rocks, river rocks. Dogs are fuzzy about their habits, and a bit of lawn would be best than the rocks. They do keep it clean.

This hotel was a fantastic place for the value. The parking situation was pretty good, seems like a small parking lot, but I was able to find a spot no problem. Checking in and checking out were both super easy and the staff was nice and attentive and answered a few questions I had. The rooms were very nice as well. The bathroom was recently renovated to make it more modern and it looks great. Unfortunately the view from our room was looking into another building. The bed itself was very comfortable, the pillows on the other hand were miserable. This hotel is extremely close to everything. It's about a 5 minute walk to downtown and maybe 2 minutes to the hot springs. You've got a ton of food choices within a few minute walk. The continental breakfast was a great variety. They had everything from small pastries to waffles to cereal. I really appreciated the variety they offered. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice comfortable place to stay.

The staff is so welcoming and fun. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The beds so comfy. The pool and hot tub are very small but we had fun anyway. We had a great breakfast as well. We will be back!!

I was surprised to see how nice this hotel is. They had a great breakfast, lots of options. I am vegetarian and I had a lot of options to eat. The rooms were clean and looked updated. They also had a mini store in the front with some souvenirs, alcohol, and snacks for purchase. Very convenient, if you don’t want to leave hotel. It was in an overall convenient location. I highly recommend.
