We
only
spent
the
tail
end
of
our
vacation
in
Glenwood
Springs,
so
our
stay
was
just
one
night.
I
can
tell
that
the
owners
are
working
hard
to
make
this
little
roadside
inn
a
really
nice
place
to
stay.
The
bed
and
bedding
was
comfortable
and
the
shutters
make
the
place
look
impressive
from
the
inside
and
outside.
It
was
a
relatively
clean
but
sparse
room.
Freshly
painted
and
with
new
flooring,
but
clearly
in
need
of
more
furniture
to
fill
the
space,
like
maybe
a
table
and
a
couple
of
chairs?
Everything
was
mostly
clean,
but
for
some
little
specks
of
what
I
do
not
care
to
mention
on
the
wall
beside
the
toilet.
To
be
fair,
the
poor
maid
was
working
as
fast
as
she
could
to
get
the
rooms
ready.
I'm
thinking
that
one
of
the
staff
must
have
failed
to
show
up
the
day
we
checked
in.
They
could
not
check
us
in
on
time
and
no
allowance
was
made
for
that.
I
felt
that
they
could
have
at
least
given
us
a
small
discount,
since
our
check-in
was
more
than
a
half
hour
later
than
promised
and
I
had
reserved
the
room
at
least
a
week
ahead.
Other
reviewers
have
complained
about
the
noise
from
I-70,
but
we
thought
our
room
was
quiet
enough.
Would
we
stay
again?
I
don't
know.
We'll
probably
Airbnb
it
next
time.
But
I
DO
know
we
would
like
to
go
back
to
Glenwood
Springs
and
spend
more
time
one
of
these
days.
It's
a
great
little
town
that
will
be
our
first
choice
next
time.
