During our 7 day motorcycle trip throughout the state of Colorado this was the best Motel! The room was very clean and updated, the shower had super sonic water pressure 😃 the bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows, our room had a kitchenette (microwave, refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker and a sink). The property was meticulously maintained and not scary (like some of the places we stayed) there were 2 chairs and a side table right outside of each room - great for relaxing outdoors. Laundry is $1.50 for wash and $1.50 for dry. The office staff kindly provided me with change and a Pod and dryer sheet for a dollar! This motel is truly family owned and operated with pride. I was greeted by 3 sons and the dad and each encounter was respectful, courteous and with personality. You can tell that these boys have been raised right. If you’re ever in the Glenwood Springs/Carbondale/Hanging Lake area book a room at this little gem!

Best economy lodging in Glenwood Springs. This place is immaculate, from details in the room like scrubbed and polished plumbing to pristine white sheets and hospital corners, continuing out to the grounds. They were grooming the rocks, clearing sticks and leaves, when I pulled up. The family is clearly devoted to standing out from the nearby competition, and they do stand out. At first I pulled into the parking lot next door and was instantly disappointed, but then properly found Hanging Lake Inn and was quite impressed. It was MUCH nicer than even the photos. Great care is taken into the aesthetics and the guests' comforts. It is a lovely, comfortable hotel with just enough luxury to give you satisfaction in getting your money's worth. The family of operators are attentive and highly accommodating. I will definitely stay again and I strongly recommend Hanging Lake Inn, if you need nice, but affordable.

Myself and three others stayed over the weekend - we were in town for a wedding at the time. Let me start off by saying that you can’t do much better on a budget - the service was excellent and the room was immaculate. Mike, the concierge, was especially kind. We were planning on getting dinner in town, but ended up being pretty exhausted by the end of the day so we elected to do some delivery. Unfortunately, the place we ordered from didn’t provide utensils and we hadn’t thought to bring our own. I took a chance and asked him at the front desk if he could oblige - he not only provided utensils, but plates as well! It’s little things like that which really mark an experience, and I will say without hesitation that I will be staying again when I’m out in the Glenwood area. Also, the beds were super comfy, we had ample towels for our bathroom which was also immaculately kept, the little kitchen nook was a lovely addition, and it’s always a plus when you can watch some HBO on the tube. I can’t say enough good things, but I’ll end it here. Take my word for it and go stay here!

The hanging lake inn was a superb experience during our stay at Glenwood Springs. Located just a mile east of the hot springs, amusement park, and shopping district. The rooms were impeccably clean while the outside of the rooms were immaculately kept with gorgeous grass, bushes to block lights from passing/parking car, and a beautiful aesthetic. Those working the front office were attentive and extremely helpful when it came to requiring new/extra items. On top of all this, the price compared to other hotels in the area is unbeatable. Will definitely utilize the hanging lake inn in the future!

Service is very good and rooms are very clean. Bedding smells Clean and fresh. Parking is very convenient Pillows are small Which is unusual Furniture is very sparse and cheap And no pictures on the walls So it feels a little like a hospital. If you request an get an extra pillow The nice lady behind the counter will run to get you one and since she's in her 60s - its quite a sight. She's very special and the hotel could be as well with a few more amenities and some better furniture. That's my honest opinion.!

This surprisingly a nice little place. Next to to the highway, so noise can be an issue if that bothers you. Staff is nice and we’re helpful when checking is in. Had two rooms and they got us as close together as they could. Ice machine works which is always a bonus to me. Only about 5 minutes from the Hot Springs pool and 4 minutes to the Adventure Park. There’s dining places along the road, but downtown is only 5 minutes away, so you’re close to some nice eateries. It’s no Hilton, but for the price it’s very nice. A good place to stay if just getting away for a couple days with the family.

The rooms are very nice. However, it took 3 tries for the front desk person to actually give us a room that had been cleaned. Each room he sent us to was not cleaned by housekeeping. Mind you, it was 5:00 in the evening. I do not fault the front desk person, he was embarrassed and really tried to find us a room. This is a housekeeping problem. There are only 22 rooms! Fix the housekeeping problem and I'll give you 5 stars across. It is worth trying again.

Stayed just one night here during a trip from the UK. It is definitely motel style, but we found the rooms to be very clean, comfy, and plenty quiet for a night's sleep. I am a light sleeper too. We also did the hanging lake trail early the next morning, and it was a 15 minutes drive away. One annoying thing was that the fridge was off by default and I didn't realise since the light in it was turned on. When the fridge was turned on, it was unusually loud. Niceish view from the hotel also and the value for the area I'd say was good.

I’m usually hesitant when it comes to booking smaller hotels but I’m glad I picked this one. This place did not disappoint. Newly renovated rooms, bed was incredibly soft, and everything was absolutely clean! If I’m ever back in this area, I’ll be booking here again.

This is an amazing place! We got stuck in traffic on our way and they were nice to accommodate after hour check-in as well. All in all this place is Clean, Quiet, easily accessible to all the hot springs and the Glenwood caverns adventure park and a great view in the front.

This quaint Inn was perfect for our anniversary trip! The management is incredibly kind and helpful. Rooms are clean and quiet. Sitting on the front porch looking out over the mountains was magical. Great location. We could go on!

Very pretty property and nice flooring in the rooms. Only problem I had was parking. if you are interested in night life, this is not the place for you. I got back at 10pm and there was only one parking spot left but i could not park there because both of the people next to that spot parked on the line and there was no way I could fit. The office was closed and they were not answering the phones so there was nothing I could do besides parking illegally. I was pretty upset considering I had been driving all day and just wanted to go to bed and not have to worry whether or not I’d wake up to a ticket or not. Also one of the cars had a baby on board sticker so maybe teach your child how to park correctly when they can drive.

For the price in the area, this place can't be beat! The woman on duty when we checked in was so friendly! This was our first stop on a 4k plus mile road trip. We were very happy with our choice to stay there and will stay again!

Great roadside motel! Newly refinished and modern rooms with plenty of home style comfort and personality. Would stay again in an instant. Beautiful views from the front porch.

One of those places you wish was on every stop of your trip! We needed a place to sleep, get some work done on a laptop and microwave some food from our cooler. This met all our needs at a great price. There’s no pool, spa treatments, shoe shine kits or any silly extras. A clean, quiet room. I discovered this hotel on google maps and were lucky to book on our arrival. Thank you for the warm welcome and intel, Mike. You’re now an official part of our fabulous journey!

We absolutely loved our stay here… the owner and his pups personally greeted us upon arrival! Our bed was comfortable and the room was spotless, they take great pride in their little slice of heaven!

We only spent the tail end of our vacation in Glenwood Springs, so our stay was just one night. I can tell that the owners are working hard to make this little roadside inn a really nice place to stay. The bed and bedding was comfortable and the shutters make the place look impressive from the inside and outside. It was a relatively clean but sparse room. Freshly painted and with new flooring, but clearly in need of more furniture to fill the space, like maybe a table and a couple of chairs? Everything was mostly clean, but for some little specks of what I do not care to mention on the wall beside the toilet. To be fair, the poor maid was working as fast as she could to get the rooms ready. I'm thinking that one of the staff must have failed to show up the day we checked in. They could not check us in on time and no allowance was made for that. I felt that they could have at least given us a small discount, since our check-in was more than a half hour later than promised and I had reserved the room at least a week ahead. Other reviewers have complained about the noise from I-70, but we thought our room was quiet enough. Would we stay again? I don't know. We'll probably Airbnb it next time. But I DO know we would like to go back to Glenwood Springs and spend more time one of these days. It's a great little town that will be our first choice next time.

Such a great little motel! Very clean and reasonably priced. Great view out our front door, and in a fairly quiet location. Would definitely stay again.

Super nice people working here, stayed multiple nights, very clean and comfortable. Had tv problem, I called and within minutes were at my door and it was just before office closed and worked hard to get the signal to work. Bottom line, they went to the extreme to make sure we were happy. WE WILL BE BACK. Very nice! EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean. Bed was great! We had not one complaint, and have felt very good about recommending this place to friends & family! This will be our go to favorite place in Glenwood!! Felt almost like home!!!

Very quiet place. Lovely-quaint room. Away from the touristy section of Glenwood Springs so getting in and out of to the main road is fairly easy. Comfortable bed and nice hot steamy shower. Will stay again.

Not a bad place. I thought a little pricey for what we got. The room was small and as a result, there’s no room for a table or a chair of any kind. Bed was comfortable, but very high off the floor, I thought. Refrigerator, microwave, snd coffee maker we’re in the room. There are two plastic chairs and a table outside the door for sitting if you wanna view of the mountain and the noise from the freeway. Inside the room you could not really hear the highway traffic outside. It did appear that the room had been renovated fairly recently so inside was very nice

Best place I've slept at so far. If you have allergies, this is your next destination to sleep. They have no carpet, it is a beautiful wood grain laminate flooring. The room accommodation for disabled was just fine. Just need a handicap ramp from parking to the room. Keep up the great service and cleanliness and you will always have me as a customer. So close to the Glenwood caverns Gondola lift and quietly set out to the West of town near mini golf.

We came all the way from Alberta, Canada on a motorcycle trip and stopped here on June 16, 2022 for the night. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the whole area is very clean and looks nice. The staff were so friendly and having the sitting area was nice at the end of a hot day to have a cold drink & star gaze. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the Glenwood Springs area! :)

LOVE IT HERE! It's a VERY affordable price, the rooms are well maintained and designed, and the front office is VERY responsive. The owner is SO approachable and friendly. We talked for about 20 minutes as I was checking in. Any time I come out here to work with my clients, I will be sure to stay here!

We arrived about an hour early and the super nice lady at the front desk was more than accommodating. They were cleaning our room but we didn’t mind waiting until they finished. Once settled, the room was clean and comfortable. This is the perfect budget place to stay. I really liked that it was away, but not too far, from the crowded grand ave area. The property is well kept and quiet. This will be our new go-to, recommend to everyone place to stay. Thank so much!

Check-in was very easy. The two young men were very nice. The room was clean and spacious. They have chairs out front where you can sit in the evening I stayed in a king room. It was so nice to shower and relax from spending all day at the Glenwood Hot Springs. It's only 7 minutes away. It has a refrigerator/freezer and a microwave. Came in handy to heat up my burrito. The bed is very comfortable, too.

If you are looking for a no frills place to sleep that is clean, has a super comfy bed (King), and has AC this is it. Its a small motel, the entrances are on the outside so no elevators to worry about and you can park in front of your room and walk right in. Someone said it has a "nostalgic" feel and it does. Like when you go on road trips w your parents. It's very safe and while it's right off of the highway you have a beautiful view of the mountains across the street. We weren't bothered by the noise of the road but we had the AC running the whole time and couldn't hear it. There isn't a chair inside the room to sit on but there are white plastic chairs out front so you can sit on the porch and relax. I'd stay again in a heartbeat if I was in the area.

Pro’s - room was clean, king bed was clean and comfortable, nice views and highway noise was not too bad. Con’s there was no chair in the room. Bed, dresser and night stands. That was it. We brought in a plastic patio chair from outside but it was cracked and uncomfortable and hard for my husband to get out of. There was also no closet, hook or anything to hang your clothes or coats. Carpets looked dirty and stained. Nothing on the walls just a very barren room with a king bed…. Also, room was on second floor and they do not have an elevator, my disabled husband managed, just a heads up.
