My wife and I have stayed here three times on our trips to Glenwood Springs. We keep coming back because the room rates are fairly priced, well maintained, and clean. The bed could be a touch softer but is still better than average. The location is excellent with ample parking, even when fully booked. You’re 3 minutes door to door from Iron Mountain Hot Springs & the entrance to Glenwood Adventure Park, and 5 from downtown. we have always stayed in a king size room which is plenty of space for two full-size adults. Peeking into one of the suites looks like they would be very nice for a family of 4-5 with two queen beds as well as what looks to be a pull out couch. The staff have always been quite courteous and accommodating. We’ve even been there to watch an irate customer go out one of the staff all the while maintaining their cool. Breakfast in the mornings is usually a pretty decent fare with plenty of places to sit inside and out. There’s also coffee inside of rooms if you prefer just to do things on your own. Rooms have some appreciated extra touches, like small fridges with freezer and lamps with USB plug-ins.

Beautiful place and great service. Would definitely stay here again. When we checked in we were offered 1st or second floor and told the friendly front desk lady to surprise us. She gave us an upstairs room in the Moose Lodge. It was beautiful with a wooden ceiling and a fully updated bathroom. We got a letter explaining the covid protocols that are followed and how the rooms are cleaned which offered peace of mind. Once we got in the room it was nice and toasty which was a nice touch. We called the front desk after setting in and got some great recommendations for dinner and had a lovely night out. She was happy to provide options and advice on what Glenwood had to offer. The next morning we came to breakfast and the breakfast attendant was very nice. He brought us coffee, refills, and took our plates when we were finished. We also booked a visit at the Iron Mountain Hot Springs and Best Western Antlers offer a coupon code so we got a few bucks off our admission. Overall, great stay and would visit again.

5 stars given because of Mel (I think that's his name). He was the breakfast attendant this morning. He is by far the friendliest, most attentive, helpful, and upbeat person I've seen in this sort of business in a very long time. As a general manager myself, I know it's hard to find employees like the one working here. Very impressed with the service he provided. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

My wife was hospitalized the morning of our trip and I had to cancel within the 24 hour time frame. I understand that they have a no cancelation policy but this location would not give us a voucher for another time. I'd be happy to drive my sick wife 300 miles for her to get everyone sick in the hotel. During a global pandemic this seems a little ridiculous. Management has my name from this review and can contact me. I will challenge my credit card payments as well as continue to leave one star reviews throughout all social media outlets. Had they given us a voucher for another night or different time. I'd happily pay the difference for that time period. Instead you tried sticking me with a bill while I was in the hospital with my wife. My wife tested positive for Corona virus too. So this place can shut down for all I care

This is a fun little hotel, clean and the staff are amazing. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it’s an older hotel and the rooms are a bit musty and get kind of humid. We just opened windows. It’s worth that for the rest of the good. The pools are fun and really warm. There are volleyball pits, horseshoes, corn hole, etc and you can borrow all the stuff from the front office. They also have fire pits and playgrounds. It’s close to the hot springs, and lots of yummy restaurants.

Seems to be understaffed. We had to go out of our way to get clean towels during our 3 night stay. The grounds are lovely but the laundry room and poolside bathrooms are greatly neglected. The grounds are lovely and there are a lot of things to do with your family (volleyball, fire pits, BBQ grills, 2 pools, hot tub, horse shoes, pickle ball). We were there in September and recently in July. They no longer have free bike rentals which was disappointing.

My stay here was amazing and very peaceful. Jenn at the front was friendly and made my stay here special and memorable. She went the extra mile to make sure I truly enjoyed my stay and also my time in Glenwood springs. Honestly everyone that worked at the hotel were always welcoming and kind. The hotel grounds, room and amenities were all well kept and very clean. I would recommend booking your stay here. It’s a beautiful location with a lot of places outside to relax and enjoy being right next to the mountains. I can’t wait to go back!

I don't normally write reviews for bigger hotels like Best Western, but the staff would helped us were just so friendly and bubbly. They were happy to hold onto our luggage while we went rafting, and the woman who checked us in was one of the friendliest people I've come across, both with us and with other guests on the phone. Quality breakfast to start the day, too. Plus it was nice being within walking distance to most spots in Glenwood.

I've been here for two weeks so far and this has been my home away from home while traveling for work, planning on staying here until March. The room, location, and service are perfect for long term stays! Jenny has been especially friendly and I've watched her go above and beyond for multiple guests. Jeremy and the housekeepers have all been friendly and attentive to my needs. I enjoy the hot tub while waiting on my laundry - convenient that they are in the same building. I look forward to the rest of my stay.

The first time I walked through the front doors of the Antlers many years ago, it felt very cozy! Since then Me and my family try to make it out to Glenwood Springs once a year we’ve always stayed at the Antlers. It’s in a great location for both of the Hot Springs. The staff is always treated us well, and the rooms have always been clean. And I think it’s nice to get a free breakfast before you head out for the day. We just had a mini vacation. Skiing and Hot Springs! And once again, the Antlers was a great experience!

First time in Glenwood springs and it started off great as we pulled into the hotel. Greeted by Jeremy, who was pleasant and efficient (he began our check-in while he was still working with another guest). Our room was perfect! So clean and comfortable. I loved the bed and the linen. We headed to the pool/hot tub and enjoyed a relaxing hour visiting with other guests. We ended our evening rocking in a rocker, sitting under the stars while enjoying the fire pit. The hot breakfast was very tasty with many choices. We will definitely stay here again.

First of all, this has got to be the nicest Best Western I've ever been to. The pools, the fire pits, the location, the rooms. All top notch. Also, Jeremy at the front desk was also outstanding. We loved him when we checked in, and when I forgot a pair of shoes in the room he was extremely helpful in getting them back to me easily. Lovely guy.

My fiancé and I stayed here for 3 nights. It was a wonderful stay. All of the staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included in your stay and is a standard continental breakfast but still good. I was pleasantly surprised that housekeeping came each morning as most hotels have not resumed that since COVID. The beds were comfortable enough. My only complaint was the shower & water pressure. The hotel is situated perfectly, and we found that we were able to walk to most everything we wanted to do. This was a pleasant stay, and we would definitely stay again!

Very clean rooms, very nice amenities including fire pits, paddle court, playground, hot tub, pool, and coin laundry. Rooms are entered from outdoors, so no noisy hallways. The hotel is right up against a hillside, so you feel close to nature while still being very central to everything. I really enjoyed my stay here. Employees were very friendly and full of good ideas for things to do and places to eat. Breakfast is included and has good variety of items. Very convenient to all the activities. There is a place across the street where you can rent bikes or schedule whitewater rafting excursions. Easy walk to the hot springs, Glenwood Adventure Park, and Iron Mountain Hot Spring. I came in on the train, and it was an easy walk from the station. There is a free bus/shuttle (the RG line) that stops fairly close by, and can take you farther into town, or out to a little shopping center with a Target to get that bathing suit you forgot.

We loved our stay here. The location was perfect. Rooms are nice beds were comfortable nice amenities and the people that work here are very friendly. Pool area and hot tub area could be cleaner along with laundry room. But we appreciated the laundry room.

A great experience! The staff was very friendly, the best I've seen in a while. And super helpful. They answered all of my questions before I asked them. The AC in my room was nice and cool when I arrived. The room was fresh and clean with modern finishes. I love the exposed beams in the ceiling! It adds a rustic touch very fitting for a hotel in a small mountain town. Everything I needed was there. Good security locks on the door and blackout curtains on the window. Plenty of towels and pillows. The pool is open late so I got to go for a swim, then relax in the hot tub. I dried off by the fire pit before heading in for the night. This hotel is close to everything, and just far enough from the highway to be nice and quiet. The mountain views are amazing!

I love everything about this hotel - I've gone up here and stayed at this hotel a few times as an adult myself - and also as a kid my parents took me to stay here every time we came up to Glenwood. You can't really beat the location - it's close to a great Mexican restaurant right across the street, and it's just minutes away from either both the original Hot Springs and the newer one, as well as the Glenwood Adventure Park (which my kids couldn't get enough of when we went last time). I look forward to many more vacations spent at this hotel in years to come.

Beautiful park like property, easy walking distance to downtown Glenwood Springs, hot springs and restaurants. Clean swimming pool and spa, nice outdoor firepits to relax around in the evenings. Clean rooms, friendly helpful staff. Really enjoyed my stay!

Great location and rooms. Service was fantastic and front desk people were very nice. The grounds are well maintained and had a great vibe with fire pits and grassy areas.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western hotel, and I must say that my experience was elevated to a whole new level, thanks to the outstanding customer service provided by Jennifer. From the moment I checked in to the time of my departure, Jennifer's dedication and professionalism were truly remarkable. Jennifer's warm and welcoming demeanor immediately made me feel at ease. She greeted me with a genuine smile and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Her attention to detail and willingness to assist with any request were truly commendable. What impressed me the most was Jennifer's exceptional knowledge about the hotel's amenities and local attractions. She provided me with valuable recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions, making my stay even more memorable. Her enthusiasm and passion for her job were evident in every interaction. Not only did Jennifer excel in customer service, but she also displayed excellent problem-solving skills. Her willingness to go the extra mile truly exceeded my expectations. Throughout my stay, Jennifer consistently demonstrated professionalism, courtesy, and attentiveness. She surpassed all my previous experiences. Thank you Jennifer,

I had a great stay at the Best Western Antlers with my family. Our room was comfortable and very clean and we actually received an upgrade at check-in. The hotel is ideally located near the town and amenities. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Particular mention to Jonathan who helped return some personal items we had left in our room. Overall a great experience and we would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for just an evening...wonderful location with easy access to everything else in Glenwood. They had bikes (regular and electric) for rent which I took advantage of for the morning, and they offered me a slightly later checkout very easily. Clean room, VERY friendly staff and a pretty good breakfast in the morning. Definitely will stay here again the next time I head to Glenwood.

All in all, the place was decent given its location, however the hotel rooms were disappointing. There were bugs in the room, and it was noisy. However, the employees were really kind and supportive. In addition, the internet speed is incredibly quick there, which is great if you need to finish up some work.

We have been coming here for 30 years. The last few years they had the worst reception ladies working there. This time it seems they are no longer working there anymore. The staff that’s at the front desk now were amazing! Best thing they ever did was to get new staff! Loved the whole experience and stay like back in the good ole days!!

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The room was nice and surprisingly quiet. The amenities are off the chart compared to the last 5 places I stayed for this price. It's only a short walk to the hot springs and downtown.

Stayed here for 3 days. Breakfast was great! Service was fast. And the hot tub was very relaxing. Also we loved the mattress we slept on and asked the staff what it was. It was a Doctors Choice Plush by Denver Mattress. We went and bought one when we got home because it was so comfortable. We will be staying here next time we visit.

I stayed in a basic queen towards the back of the property on the second floor. It was quiet. It was comfortable. Service was terrific. Breakfast had good options. For the location, the price was outstanding. This place has lots of other amenities I didn't get to use because of the season and the length of my trip. I would stay again if in the area.

The Antlers BW is just the right place to stay in Glenwood Springs. Our last trip 2 years ago, we stayed at the historic Hotel Colorado and for all it's rustic "charm" the place was still very antiquated and not worth it. Nonetheless, the Antlers had all we needed with it's 3 queen room, continental breakfast and the other relaxing amenities; pool, laundry, and fire pit areas to relax and enjoy. It was close to everything we liked in terms of attractions, shopping, Iron Mountain, rafting, etc. The rooms we clean too. I would suggest that they put longer shower curtains in the tub to prevent water getting all over the floor. They're rather short. We will stay here again.

Close to gondolas and all fun places. Room facilities were good, support staff are very friendly and kind. 24/7 service at front desk and have good selection for breakfast. Rooms are ok, spacious but a bit dark. We didn't have any cleaning done but support staff had kept the surroundings n exterior neat. Pool and Jacuzzis facilities are super fun n neatly upkeptn

My partner and I stayed here for one night and were not expecting to love this place so much! The rooms are very nice and clean. The lodge itself is so cute and cozy and the breakfast was great! Will plan on staying here our next visit.

I've stayed at a few other hotels in Glenwood, but the Best Western Antlers was my favorite by far. While it is a bit dated, the facility is well kept and clean. Since my visit was in the winter, the outdoor pool was closed, but I took advantage of the spacious indoor jacuzzi. Also, the selection of food at breakfast was great - waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, etc.

Sprawling complex with large parking area. Super-clean room. Dog friendly, if you need that. Great breakfast selection. Most importantly, we could walk to the big springs pool, over the bridge to the downtown for restaurants, and even over to the gondola for the caverns. Great location.

  • 4/5 Jolene 1 year ago on Google
We spent the night here as we were traveling through. Dogs are allowed. Some people leave their dogs in the room and they have separation anxiety barking which is very annoying. This is not the hotel's fault, and when we reported it they contacted the folks leaving the dog in the room. The parking lot is well lit. This is a motel, not a hotel. The motel is older and therefore seems a little dingy, but the rooms were clean and we got a good night's sleep. I did not like the shower head at all. The room air conditioners had a constant fan so it didn't wake me up all night cycling on and off which is good. We did not use the hotel pool, but it looked nice. The location is very good and central to lots of activities.

Highly recommend. Clean. Predictable great breakfast, very central location, literally walking distance to everything from hot springs, to caves, to the Glenwood bridge and the downtown attractions, shopping and dining. Quite room with views, and reasonable cost. Had a very restful girls weekend out times. Will be back ina few months. Highly recommend!!! Well sized clean rooms and comfortable bedding.

Good prices. Decent rooms. Their breakfast was very very good, and their eggs and chili are very good. But a man in the lobby during their breakfast named Mel made the trip for us. He was very polite and hospitable, and very helpful. He was making sure all the people eating were having a good time and kept the area very clean.

  • 4/5 think inside the b. 2 years ago on Google
Mel was amazing. Ellie, Jenny, Heidi and Ivan will remember you forever; that was the best treatment any of us have ever received! Plus, the hotel breakfast was amazing with lots of choices. Our room was decent, but there were a few bugs that kept us up at night. Little outdated, but not a problem! Loved the outdoor seating with campfires, very cute area. Experience was great other than the bugs!

We were on our way to Las Vegas and stayed here, and again on our way home. The owners Sandy and Mel are absolutely 💯 wonderful people. They are definitely in the right business for serving people, as they take great pride in it. Our stays were about a week apart and the room's are impeccably clean with a little bit of rustic charm. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful time. Tracy n Dan Richards from MN.
