My family and I stayed here for two nights. Actually we're checking out tomorrow morning. I wanted to say I highly recommend this hotel. Number one it's so convenient, we came for the hot springs. It's just a couple minutes away from either of the hot springs. So close to the center of town where all the great restaurants are. Centrally located. The staff here are so friendly. Check-in was a breeze and friendly we were even offered extra towels. The hotel room was clean. The breakfast was fantastic. Crispy bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy scrambled eggs, there's yogurts, fresh hot coffee, fresh fruit bagels, pancakes that you make yourself. We will definitely come back and stay here again.

Super disappointing stay. I hate to complain due to my occupation as a GM of a hotel myself. My niece and I stayed here a couple of years ago and really loved it. This time we checked in to be told the elevators were down and since I was under an employee rate nothing could be done for me. I had zero intention of asking for a discount but it was nice to know that they undervalue employees. Our smoke detector was hanging by wires. Both the tub and sink stoppers were disconnected and laying there. The tub drained extremely slowly, USB plug ins pushed into the wall, dead outlet by the vanity. The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired.

BEETLE BUGS everywhere First room on 3rd floor had lots of bugs from widow to in the bed. So I moved to the first floor where they said these bug weren’t there. That night after dinner the electric door lock was broken. Took some time to get in the room. The next morning I found ants and a big spider in the room. I checked out a day early. I asked for a full credit for the room but I only got $100 off. Not a place I would recommend.

Fabulous people (special shout-outs to Nina and her manager, both just amazing folks and so warm and caring), fabulous location, fabulous breakfast (fresh, well-stocked, awesome selection), clean “two-bedroom” (quotes around it because there is no door to the 2nd bedroom but no problem, it’s still lovely), I frankly can’t think of anything they need to do to improve. One of the better hotel experiences I’ve had in recent times. Makes me want to re-think my loyalty to the Marriott family of properties. Can’t do better than that!

We were supposed to get a handicap room and when we checked in the receptionist was beyond rude. We booked online days early but when we arrived we double checked we had a handicap room the receptionist said if that's what we booked it should be. It was not. One of the people in our party was in a wheelchair and she had to use the lobby bathroom because the restroom was inaccessible. We arrived late at night because we traveled across country so we're under the assumption they gave our room away since all the rooms were booked but we do not know for sure. They double charged us for a deposit because the receptionist couldn't figure out what was going on with the card reader, and she refused to help us with any questions we had. I am a very frequent traveler and after this stay I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are a lot of hotels, including ones with full amenities and close to the hot springs, if you're looking for good service and quality rooms try elsewhere.

Location was great! Easy walk to downtown and back, iron mountain hot springs and the gondola for the caverns park is right around the corner. Room could’ve been cleaner, only had 1 towel, and the tv had a busted speaker so it was hard to wind down at the end of the night with some tv.

Was just staying for 1 night on the way through on I70. The room I had smelled musty. The person at the front desk was never there. When I checked in they told me that they have towels for the pool at the front desk so I stopped there on the way to the pool and the front desk person was outside smoking and talking on her cell phone. I never did get a towel. Breakfast wasn't good either.

One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. Do not expect any sleep. You can hear your upstairs neighbors toss and turn in their beds, literally sounds like two pieces of plywood rubbing together. Road noise is quite awful. Rooms were clean and nice Front desk lady were very nice beside the assistant manager worst case of “ I’m the manager I don’t care what happens”

My husband and I stayed here for a whole week and it was absolutely perfect. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good every morning. As far as staff goes we had Ms Jess and Ms Alicia at the desk and both of them are absolutely phenomenal! Both are very pleasant, friendly, fun to talk to and above all else professional. They were very accommodating and gave us plenty of references to make our Glenwood visit that much more enjoyable. If these two ladies are on staff, you're in a for wonderful stay!

Unless you have tons of money or want to be screwed over, I suggest staying elsewhere. My family of 3 on one income as well as my parents all stayed here for a wedding nearby. Instead of the management charging our cards the way we asked, they completely messed up the charges and when I called to have it corrected they wouldnt listen and actually made it worse. Had to get my bank involved but by the time they decided to listen to me and look into it it was an even bigger mess. I was out over $600 more than I should have been because they couldn't do a simple task. NOT once have I been offered and apology or anything. My family is a 1 income family with mounting medical bills. I saved like crazy to have this trip because it meant so much to me. Now I'm in a major financial bind because the hotel doesnt listen to or care about their guests. Also while there another family member called to extend their stay since they would be early and the hotel agreed, however when they arrived there was no room for them. Management at this hotel should seriously be reconsidered. Both the hotel manager and the general manager are useless!

I stayed 2 nights here. The accomodations were better and more roomy than most in this price range, even considering it's high season in a resort town. Close enough to walk to Glenwood Hot Springs pool...if you wanted to. Rooms, pool and exercise room were all clean and fully functional. Everything worked!! 👍Hot breakfast offerings were delicious. Staff were friendly and quite willing to engage and assist. I'm coming back here next time I travel.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Glenwood Springs and overall, it was a great experience. The hotel's location near Glenwood Cavern Adventure Park was a major plus, making it convenient to explore the area. The rooms were comfortable and clean, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The complimentary breakfast, typical of Holiday Inn Express, was a nice touch. The staff was friendly and did their best to accommodate my needs during my stay. The only downside was when water flooded my room from an upstairs bathroom, and due to the hotel being fully booked, they were unable to provide an alternative room. Although it was an unfortunate situation, it was a bit of a hassle dealing with the water dripping down into my bathroom. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed my overall stay at the hotel.

A short walk away from the Iron Hotsprings and a 10 to 15 minute walk to downtown. The internet works and is moderately fast. The only major issue is that skiers pack the place on the weekend. It's kinda annoying when I'm there for work. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. During my most recent check in, I noticed that the prior guest had smoked in the bathroom. The front desk upgraded me to a better room at no extra charge.

This hotel served its purpose. Location is great depending on the aspect of your visit. Glenwood Springs is very fun to visit, and Aspen is only 45-1hr away depending on traffic and weather. Hotel was very comfortable and staff was nice. Only issue here is that the coffee and hot water was not replenished throughout the day. Very small/no selection on snacks at the market. And wish the walls were a little more noise canceling. No curb apeal, and on top of that its almost Christmas and there are no lights, tree or anything. Disappointed. Other than that typical IHG Property.

Staff was kind and attentive. The hotel had comfortable beds and free breakfast. You can easily walk from the hotel to Glenwood Springs Adventure Park. A short five minute drive and you have a great variety of restaurants to eat at in the downtown area of Glenwood.

I stayed here once 10 years ago, and it sure has changed. The room used to cost maybe $130 a night and now it's closer to $300 a night (and that was from Expedia!). The bathroom is very small, so much so that the sink and mirror are not even in the bathroom. And we were apparently at the mating season of some bugs that live in the trees outside of our third floor middle room (July). As such we had bugs all over the room in the evenings as they came in through the air conditioner mounted underneath the window. It was disgusting. I do not think we would stay here again and Holiday Inn Express is one of my favorite hotel chains...

I gave it a 3 star only because I asked for a top floor room and got a first floor one. The reason why is the Stompsters above isn't coming from the room above its from the hallway and boy do people stomp from 6am to 11pm. The rooms are clean and in good order.

I rated a 3 for the rooms as they were very nice and clean but at the entrance of my room where there is tile....the floor was sticky. I wasn't sure what was on there to make it so sticky but that's the only part of my room I didn't care for. Other than that...very clean. Good customer service. The free bfast was good. I enjoyed my stay. Will visit again.
