We are Marriott Bonvoy members and I generally appreciate their hotels and resorts, but I was disappointed in the Glenwood Springs Courtyard for a few reasons, (1) the back walk area that we were directed to was covered in days worth of ice. While I appreciate that is winter in Colorado, I do expect them to clean their walks or at least put salt and sand down. (2) no complimentary coffee or breakfast. While I can get over the breakfast, I can't think of the last hotel I stayed in that didn't have coffee available to guests in the morning. While i found the staff to be friendly and helpful, for what we paid, next time I will choose a different hotel.

The good: Facility is very clean. It has a hot tub and a pool. Mobile check in room key on your phone. Climate controls are easy to use. The bad. $12 a day parking is a real turn off. Why not add it to the room price? We asked if they would make our beds and they said no in so many words. The breakfast options are limited and very expensive and average quality. $20 for 2 small sandwiches and a small yogurt. No USB ports in the rooms (it’s almost 2022)???Smallest courtyard I’ve ever been to. Over all, for over $175 a night it’s well overpriced.

Best bed ever... decent view. Room was good other than no microwave, floors are kinda thin as we heard heavy steppers upstairs but they were courteous and bathroom had something noisy underneath but shut off quickly. They have a cafe downstairs which is open later than most but not the best food especially for the price..very friendly service

High price and no breakfast provided. No complimentary coffee. $12 per night to park. Will never stay here again. They charge a high price because it is in a beautiful place to visit but literally give you nothing for the high price you pay.

The staff here were nice, but the quality of the hotel was low for the price. The room had a large dark splotch on the ceiling, and also had a weird smell when we first entered. They did offer to put us in another room, but it was on the first floor. We also paid extra for the “mountain view” but the windows aren’t really placed well/big enough to be worth it. Also, they make sure not to mention that parking is $12 a day until you get the final bill.

Good hotel, friendly staff. They charged $12 for parking. Not expected for a wide open retail area. I might stay at the hotel again if I don’t have to pay to park.

I had a night stop at Glenwood Springs on my way from Black Canyon of Gunnison National Park to Denver. I like the small town Glenwood Springs, it was very trendy with lots of vacationing crowds, and there were many people on the street even after 10pm.

Hotel is ok, staff are very nice and helpful. But it's absurd for a Courtyard to be charging a "property improvement fee," that is not disclosed anywhere in addition to $12 for parking in a wide open strip mall.

Location was way too far away from Highway exit and roads were sketchy. Check-in was smooth. Two bottles of water were over $8. Room was clean. Bed was harder than the foundation the hotel was built on. Pool was closed. I could hear the guests above us move around all night and it sounded like a herd of water buffalo. Not many amenities nearby. Parking lot is very small and tight to maneuver in. Not the Marriot experience at all.

This is a great location for getting around Glenwood and for various activities in the area. The staff was friendly and helpful, except the housekeeping staff. Upon asking one housekeeping staff where the bathroom was in the lobby, she quickly said "no entiendo" and walked away. I can understand if I was asking a complex question to someone who doesn't know the English language, but there are some very common phases that everyone knows and understands. Especially if you work in the hospitality industry and clean a bathroom on a regular basis. The hotel lobby was clean and well appointed. When we first arrived in our room, I noticed our toilet was ghost flushing every 30 seconds or so. We asked to switch rooms, but since the hotel was full our request could not be accommodated. The front desk called a maintenance person who came in to fix the toilet. Problem solved. The room had been cleaned with fresh sheets and towels, but the trash cans were still full with the previous guest's trash. The walls are thin and we could hear the people next door's TV fairly loud. Be aware that there is not coffee or beverages (other than a carafe of water) in the lobby in the morning, or the usual free continental breakfast type items as we have become accustomed to with Marriott hotels in most other places. There is a cafe where Starbucks coffee can be purchased ($8 for 2 cups) as well as breakfast items. Also, it seems strange that this particular hotel charges a $12 parking fee per night. If the hotel was in the middle of a major downtown area, it would make sense to charge for parking, but it is definitely not. No one is coming to this area without a car and there is ample space. Charging for parking seems like nickel and diming to me.

Room was good, but trying to get a change of bed linens was near impossible. Shower leaked really bad. Roads in the area were horrendous (not that that’s the hotel’s fault- just a warning to motorists).

What a wonderful stay! The rooms were super clean, beds were very comfortable, stunning view and the front desk agent was so nice. She gave me an excellent restaurant recommendation. I will be coming back!

We stayed here passing through as we love the quaintness of Glenwood Springs. The hotel itself was dated and the rooms are very small. The room felt clean for the most part. I feel staffing must be an issue as the breakfast wasn’t ready to open at 6:30 and it was not worth the money, the reservation guest services was not very friendly and one of the ladies smelled very bad of smoke. It was fine for passing through and staying just a quick overnight but would not stay again.

The staff at this place are always friendly, which I don't always find to be the case of other Marriotts. The location's great and you can walk to downtown in about 20 or 30 minutes depending on your walking speed. I also like that there is a community center right across the street if you want to get a good workout in. Also, this place is right next to the mountains where you can go for a nice hike. I always stay here when I'm in Glenwood.

My room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Two thumbs! It's a little pricey per night. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

I have been to hotels all over the world and have to say that Crystal, the front desk agent was one of the best I have ever encountered. From my first telephone contact to questions during my stay, she was always kind, caring, helpful, and professional. My hotel room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I would stay here again if I had the pleasure of dealing with such a great employee!

TLDR: No complimentary breakfast or even coffee, you also have to pay for parking. Their pet fee (non refundable) is more than anyone else's as well at $100 flat rate- even though we only stayed one night with no incidents. We have stayed at Marriott before, and actually my partner has gold elite status with them which is what led us to stay here. The rooms are clean and the staff is helpful if you have problems with your room. However, they really charge you for every little thing here. The staff is super friendly and accommodating but we were overall put off by their pricing and fee structure.

Aside from a lost reservation, our stay here on our road trip was nearly perfect. We were dismayed to discover that the in-hotel bistro restaurant was closed due to a staffing issue, since we had fondly remembered a meal here during our stay more than ten years ago. But having to go out in search of dinner let us discover Zheng's, where we had an excellent meal! The rooms at Marriott hotels are rarely less than perfect, and this Courtyard was no exception. Thanks especially to Natalie, who did her best to accommodate us despite the missing reservation. You with your patient help are one of the many reasons we like to stay at Marriott Hotels!

No complimentary breakfast, you have to pay $12/day to park which NO ONE TOLD me until AFTER they charged me. No towels by the pool/hottub. You even have to pay for coffee in the lobby. WIFI was terrible. This hotel was more expensive to stay at and it was by far the worst. If you want extra towels or toilet paper you have to go to the front desk to get it yourslef. Bistro/Bar was only opned in the AM and the breakfast you were required to pay for. Was very dissapointed.

Great locations right next to the hotel there's a small mall with stores and supermarket making this convenient. No continental breakfast. Staff was amazing! Very friendly and attentive. Starbucks at location is a plus, I gave hotel a 4 because of staff. But hotel should provide complimentary coffe and tea for guest and not charge for it,

An excellent place to rest and relax after a long day of sightseeing. The rooms are clean and well appointed. There are several restaurants within an easy walk The only drawback is that the hotel is not located closer to the center of town. There is ample parking

Always very clean and very welcoming when someone is at the front, sometimes you have to wait a bit. They are located up on the hill, not walkable to any hot springs or downtown restaurants. There are a few restaurants and shopping at convenience stores like Target walkable, not tourist shops. They have a bar open in the evenings and breakfast to order in the morning.

I just wanted to express how much I appreciated the customer service from Akay! The level of friendliness and helpfulness was great! Marriott phone support was extremely rude, but Akay made up for that and addressed the issue immediately and for that I am thankful.

The room was clean and everything was in good repair and worked well. The property is well away from the main tourist area. I question the $12 per night charge for parking, as no one comes here without a car, given the location. There is a separate charge for breakfast as well, so we only got the coffee, which was very good. There is a Natural Grocers in the adjacent shopping center and you can pick up fruit and yogurt there.

Disgusted as soon as we walked into the room, stains on the couch and sleeper bed and wallpaper peeling from the walls. The rolling chair had huge crusty clear white stains (nasty). They don’t even have coffee in the lobby and choose to push the overpriced nasty bistro instead. They charge $12 for parking but offer no protection your vehicle and have an incredibly small parking lot. Overall a huge ripoff for the quality of the room/parking/dining

We had a family emergency causing us to drive an hour to the emergency room in Glenwood. Since we will be here all night I got us a room nearby. With it being 4hrs past my usual bedtime I messed up my booking on priceline. Q, The person behind the desk was so kind and helpful. He took my very hard night and made it so much smoother, made us feel welcome and met our every need. Thanks again Q!

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Not quite walkable to downtown so you'd need a bike or car. Had a small issue with water being turned off which was an annoyance. Rooms were clean and comfortable enough. Bathroom was average but everything was there as expected and clean. Still not a fan either that there's no daily housekeeping. The sign says you can request it but when I tried twice they told me they were unable.

The hotel is very nice. Rooms were spacious and clean. Again, you won't get a cleaning or clean towels unless you ask. Staff was friendly. You will pay for a cup of coffee and continental breakfast here, if they are open. Staff issues forced it closed one of the days we were here. Overall a nice place to stay.

Great place for the location, though clearly they took the insulation that should have been between the rooms and shoved it into the mattresses. That way you can hear your neighbors, and sleep on a rock

Beautiful location. Very clean hotel. But what impressed me most is the great customer service from the front desk employee, Quinn. I will always return for such great service

The lady at the front desk was nice and friendly. The room was nice and clean. In my opinion, the TV is not a good spot to watch if you’re in bed. The bathroom was clean but the floor had mud close to the shower. 4.7/5

Due to a snow storm on day 2 of my and my two daughters vacation, Amtrak was delayed 26 hours. We were staying in Residence Inn and there were no rooms available once we checked out. Thankfully Courtyard had room for us and although we left for the train station at 11:30 being in the room for not even an entire night, we were so grateful and appreciative to have somewhere to go. Being next door was equally great. Keep up the good work!
