This
is
a
great
location
for
getting
around
Glenwood
and
for
various
activities
in
the
area.
The
staff
was
friendly
and
helpful,
except
the
housekeeping
staff.
Upon
asking
one
housekeeping
staff
where
the
bathroom
was
in
the
lobby,
she
quickly
said
"no
entiendo"
and
walked
away.
I
can
understand
if
I
was
asking
a
complex
question
to
someone
who
doesn't
know
the
English
language,
but
there
are
some
very
common
phases
that
everyone
knows
and
understands.
Especially
if
you
work
in
the
hospitality
industry
and
clean
a
bathroom
on
a
regular
basis.
The
hotel
lobby
was
clean
and
well
appointed.
When
we
first
arrived
in
our
room,
I
noticed
our
toilet
was
ghost
flushing
every
30
seconds
or
so.
We
asked
to
switch
rooms,
but
since
the
hotel
was
full
our
request
could
not
be
accommodated.
The
front
desk
called
a
maintenance
person
who
came
in
to
fix
the
toilet.
Problem
solved.
The
room
had
been
cleaned
with
fresh
sheets
and
towels,
but
the
trash
cans
were
still
full
with
the
previous
guest's
trash.
The
walls
are
thin
and
we
could
hear
the
people
next
door's
TV
fairly
loud.
Be
aware
that
there
is
not
coffee
or
beverages
(other
than
a
carafe
of
water)
in
the
lobby
in
the
morning,
or
the
usual
free
continental
breakfast
type
items
as
we
have
become
accustomed
to
with
Marriott
hotels
in
most
other
places.
There
is
a
cafe
where
Starbucks
coffee
can
be
purchased
($8
for
2
cups)
as
well
as
breakfast
items.
Also,
it
seems
strange
that
this
particular
hotel
charges
a
$12
parking
fee
per
night.
If
the
hotel
was
in
the
middle
of
a
major
downtown
area,
it
would
make
sense
to
charge
for
parking,
but
it
is
definitely
not.
No
one
is
coming
to
this
area
without
a
car
and
there
is
ample
space.
Charging
for
parking
seems
like
nickel
and
diming
to
me.
