The guy at check in was amazing. They were very informative about the construction on the phone, at check in, and during the stay. We were put in 339 and the air conditioning did not work so they gladly moved us into 337 and it was perfect. Beautiful hotel room. Bed was super clean and comfortable. I believe the guy at the front desk was Sean? I may be wrong- Red headed guy. He was GREAT! Probably the best guy we have ever had at a hotel. Would love to stay here again! Can't wait to come back! Especially for this awesome price!

I stayed at this hotel for only two nights. It was clean the staff is pretty friendly. Love the location, it gives you the option to walk to a lot of places, which I recommend. However, the reason I only gave it three stars is because the food they served for dinner was not all that great. And it was supposed to come with two sides we only received one and our meal cost us $40. The second night there were dogs roomed in our floor which they are not supposed to be. The dogs barked for a couple hours straight with no owen present. When the cleaning staff came to clean our room they took our trash and towels but didn't replace either of them.

Keep looking if you're considering this hotel. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights to take a break from camping. The room was outdated, disgusting, and dirty.. not to mention the nasty, moldy bathroom. There was no fitness center, the hot tub was under construction, and the pool was just gross. I should have paid more attention to the fact that they were under construction and had multiple mattresses out by the trash.... I'm almost certain we got bed bugs from this place. Absolutely disgusted... Do yourself a favor and run, run far away from this place!!

We were here 2 years ago and the place is still under construction! Pool does not work and they charge $150 deposit for each pet. They did not disclose this when I called to make reservations only that there is a $15 non-refundable fee per night. The air conditioner in the wall does not work, yet. So it is a common system that slows in cold air. Last time we were here the air conditioner didn't work at all and we had at to put a fan in the door out into the hallway to make it semi tolerable to sleep. Don't stay here, or if you do call and confirm the status of your room and the grounds. In my estimation any rating in the past two years higher than two stars is quite likely bogus.

The room was very clean. The staff was friendly but not knowledgeable about small things like, the lady at the desk told us we could park in a spot right next to rhe building, it was not for the hotel, it was for the place next door. When I made the reservation I put in the notes that my husband's service animal was coming with us, they had no knowledge of the animal and then stated we needed to sign a waiver for her to stay along with a fee. The fee was waved. I also stated we needed a pack N play or crib, again the front desk had no knowledge and when I asked for one they stated "house keeping will bring one up if there is one available." I had to call an hour later to remind them. They arrived promptly with a crib. This crib had no sheets, no extra blankets in the room, nothing. So I had to call back to request blankets. It took another 25 min to get those blankets putting off my sons bedtime off longer. I put these things inside the notes to make things smoother for 2 members of my family and they were simply overlooked. Not a big deal for you but it is a huge deal for those members of my family. The pool was a nightmare, there were no stocked towels or any place to put your things, no where to sit that wasn't in an inch of water. Kids unsupervised jumping in when smaller kids are present, people sitting on the hot tub for hours not allowing others to use it. The halls were loud! Dogs barking all night, doors slamming all night, people yelling all night. Breakfast was ok. Things were either over seasoned or bland. Overall not the best experience.

Good hotel, centrally located. It is an older hotel but kept nice. Bugs get in through the windows. Easy walk to some restaurants like village inn and Mexican food and walkable yo a lot of attractions. Easy drives to most everywhere else. Parking can be tough during busy times. The breakfast is great!

My stay was in early May 2019, when the hotel was fully renovated and rebranded as a La Quinta. We were moving from Cincinnati to Ogden and were staying only one night, but extended it to three as we were so pleased. The room as well as the staff was/were wonderful. I appreciated their little convenience store (with beer and wine!) in the lobby, and their breakfast bar was the best and freshest I've ever seen. I would consider going back to Glenwood Springs, about which I know nothing, just to relax here.

Even though this place was under construction while I stayed, it was very nice. Great price for the location. And I really love that it is within walking distance to restaurants, then I could enjoy some drinks and walk back to my hotel. The only issue I had were some loud, rowdy teens in the room next to me. Besides that, great place.

This is actually the La Quinta. The rooms are clean and I appreciated having a walk in shower where I didn't need to worry about a tub. Easy to get to from the interstate and get back onto.
