Very clean rooms, and the people who work the front desk are very kind. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the location. The exterior could use a remodel, and the walkways needed cleaning. It would be nice if the hot tub was open in the winter as well. Great for a short stay in Glenwood.

This was a great place. We were well taken care of. It was early Spring when we were there, so not very crowded. So much nicer than a “big box” motel. Breakfast was great. I missed some of the conveniences like coffee in the room. But when went to the front desk to inquire, she brought out an old coffee maker she had in the back with all the stuff you need to make coffee. We loved being able to pull up right in front of the room. This is an old motel with lots of character. My only complaint: We’re traveling with a small dog and therefore always get put into a dog room. There were some stains on the carpet and a strong smell from the cleaning products that were used. Would definitely stay here again. About $80 for the night.

If you’re looking for a comfortable, clean, and affordable hotel you should choose Caravan Inn. You’re not going to find anything fancy, but it had everything we needed. It’s in a great location with a good Mexican restaurant right next door. The gentleman at the front desk at check in was very pleasant, I believe his name was Steve, and when checking out there was a lovely woman, wish I was able to get her name. The next time we are in Glenwood we will be choosing this hotel again.

I was in CO for work for a month. At the start of trip I considered the rooms clean and well kept. Until my third week when a mouse scurried into my bedroom. The front desk said that “it happens” and offered a mouse trap be set by maintenance. Needless to say I made other arrangements after that. The front desk was very nice aside from not offering other options after the encounter.

Stay here, Stay here, Stay here!!! You will not regret staying here. This Hotel is amazing. Greatly priced, overly accomadating, and will not make you regret your stay!! Breakfast is convenient, the pool is huge and goes to 8 1/2 feet which my kids love!! Don't forget their 4 person Hot tub for the adults who need to relax. Stay at the Caravann Inn and you will NOT regret it!!

This hotel is a GEM. Our room was super clean. My wife and I talked about how clean everything was. For under 80 dollars for one night, you cannot get better than this. In fact, I would pay for this hotel even if it was over 100 dollars. The person who checked us in was a kind gentlemen. I just can't say enough good things about this hotel. If we ever are around this area, I will drive out of my way to stay here again.

Listen, if you’re looking to a fancy swag hotel, this place isn’t for you. But if you’re looking for a clean hotel to sleep in, friendly staff, and a solid continental breakfast, this is your place. My family of four stayed for two nights and it was exactly what we needed it to be. A clean place to rest our heads with exceptional customer service. Couple that with the excellent price, and this place is definitely a winner. Make sure to say hi to Penny the Yorkie while you’re there!

Went to rent a room at 10:20pm and they had a note on the door saying office closes at 11pm and to call desk or pick up phone on wall and it will dial management. So I picked up phone on wall and the girl was so rude and had plenty of rooms left and wouldn't let me rent one. I'll never ever ever go back! And I'll be telling everyone about my experience.

Our family reunion group enjoyed our stay at Caravan Inn where the customer service is extraordinary. The rooms were nice and clean, with great beds, pillows, showers, fridges, microwaves, TV, desk, internet access and more. The continental breakfast was excellent every morning, and we enjoyed the sparkling clean pool and hot tub. The property was well maintained. Compared to other accommodations in Glenwood Springs, Caravan Inn was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this hotel. We plan to book it again for our family reunion next year.

Did not even need to stay here to know the service was poor. We have an ESA and we were asking about pet accommodations. He was rude to my girlfriend, and hung up on me when I wanted to ask more information. No one should have such a poor attitude in the hospitality business. Someone needs a career change.

Excellent two star hotel! Clean rooms, super helpful front desk, and we even got homemade banana bread even though we were late to the breakfast buffet and it had already closed (definitely our mistake for being late)

So, this is no longer a hotel/motel. It's been taken over by long term residents. It's being called the Residence on Grand. So there is no room service. Unless you talk to maintenance but they aren't all that reliable. I have been waiting over a week for a smoke detector also for them to remove damaged and broken items from my room. While I am a patient person I do believe it only polite to have things done quickly, also I haven't seen maintenance since the day I moved in. There are worse places. But honestly. It's not so bad being outside in this mountainous wonderland.

Caravan Inn has been sold. Thank you for all your great help and service throughout the years. You were my favorite place to send friends. (original review) Not a franchise, but a clean, honest, family run business. This is where I stay, and send friends. (The place is now called residents 'something', according to people who live there, the place is now a soap opera. Well, we knew it was the people who made Caravan so amazing. When they retired, new people had to come in, and they aren't as good.)

Nice people, extremely clean, EXCELLENT housekeeping, price amazing for the area and time of year. Giving 5 stars for the amenities for the price. Covid breakfast with coffee, nice fruit, and some bars --perfectly fine. Basic cable. Straightforward, slightly worn, but comfortable room with new granite in the shower, sink, and on bureau for fridge and drawers. Mini-microwave and a safe. Beds seemed on the soft side, but not a backache once --maybe memory foam? Linens perfectly white and clean, pillows very good. Nice boot step with a heater in it, beneath the closet bar, with an extra shelf above for throwing extra coats and snow pants on -- perfect for drying swim suits and snow gear overnight. A nice vertical feel to this and some of the furniture --decent use of space. Only flubs were that we couldn't unlock the hot tub gate and had to climb around it to get in, and we had to turn up the temp a little (it was bearable but cold out so it needed improvement). Also another towel rack or two in the bathroom would definitely not hurt! But, we really enjoyed Caravan -- everything was so clean, and it's very accessible to everything major in Glenwood -- bring any kind of bike, cross the street West, and take the river trail everywhere!
