Omg!! The students here do such a great job!!!! We have gone to high end salons and honestly they NEVER listen to your request. They do w.e they want and most of the time you leave very disappointed and pay over $200 for something your not happy with. But my daughters hair came out sooo good! She was so happy!

Kandi is the amazing!! She does my hair and two daughters. She’s been a stylist for as long as I can remember and has great technique. I leave the Hair Refinery very pleased everytime! Allie is also fantastic. She dyed the tips for my daughters hair and it turned out beautifully!! Best Salon in northern colorado!

I have had my hair cut here twice, and I highly recommend them. The student, Ariana, did a wonderful job. The owner is there to check in and help the students with whatever they need. She is also very nice. The salon is very comfortable, and the prices are amazing. I will be back to try other services as well.

I attended Esthetics school at The Hair and Skin Refinery and just recently passed my state board exams and am now a licensed esthetician. I loved my time at this school and feel my education was tailored to my needs as the class sizes are so small you definitely get one on one attention with the instructors. Kate and Kandi have also been a really great resource even after school in helping me start my own business. I highly recommend considering them for your next career path.

I absolutely love Kandi and the salon students at the hair and skin refinery! Kandi has been doing my hair for years and I have always left happy and confident. When her and Kate opened the school I was excited to get in with students. Students have done my hair eyebrows, and facials and repeatedly have me leaving happy! As a college student myself, the pricing with student services is amazing and affordable! Overall I would recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for somewhere to get beauty services done!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s clean, beautifully designed, the vibe is right, and I think that’s all thanks to the owner, Kandi. You can tell the students respect and admire her expertise, and they’re happy to be there. This always makes for a great client experience. More importantly, the hair!! First they did my 13yo daughter’s hair; she wanted a strawberry blonde and they nailed it. I went in today for a full highlight (yeahh bringing back the highlights and getting away from my years of balayage) and I couldn’t be more pleased. I’ve spent hundreds on my hair in the past for it not to look half as good. Kandi really knows what she’s doing and guides the girls very well in their work. Check them out, you definitely won’t be disappointed.

Came in today for a lash lift and tint and brow tint. She did amazing and walked me through each step so I was aware. She made sure I was comfortable and made me feel comfortable! I'll definitely be back!
